Gute Lage, gute Angebote, insgesamt sehr schön!

Der Balkon, große Aufenthaltsräume, Pool, schöner Außenbereich.

Wir hatten eine ältere Alkoholikerin im Zimmer, die sich konsequent nicht an die Regeln gehalten hat und leider hat das Personal keine gute Lösung für unsere Anliegen gefunden. Wir konnten nach ein paar Nächten in ein neues Dorm ziehen aber so mussten neue Leute mit ihr in einem Zimmer wohnen.

Awful stay - never again - ruined whole time in Ericeira

The staff were friendly

On our 2nd day staying at WOT 45 12 year olds turned up to stay in the morning and were there for the rest of the time we were supposed to be staying there. They took over the whole place so we never wanted to use the facilities or the pool because the kids were jumping around causing havoc, swamping the whole place. The one time I was sat by the pool on my phone as went to use it but changed my mind when kids were cannon balling in there, so I decided I didn’t want to go in and was just going to send a text to someone before I left the pool side and another guest came up to me asking if I was a teacher. I think they were going to have a go at me because the kids were running riot and he thought I was teacher not doing my job and just going on my phone. The whole point of choosing hostels like this is so you meet people around the pool and the organised barbecues and watching the euros on the big screen in the communal area etc get talking and making friends with each other and then go out at night together etc. It was completing isolating for individuals or pairs of friends and meant you never wanted to be in the hostel except to sleep even though the hostel staff go out of their way to make it an entertaining communal place. We heard one of the guests swapped hostels to another beach location. We asked if we could get transferred to the WOT back in Lisbon and they said there was no space. We checked online ourselves and there were rooms going online so I don’t know why they lied and wouldn’t sort it for us. The staff in general were understanding of our frustrations and apologetic but in the end WOT could have done something about it that probably wouldn’t have cost them anything, as they had last minute empty rooms in the hostel we wanted to be transferred to but they chose not to. We ended up leaving a night early and booking another hostel somewhere else.

Nette Leute aber nicht gut geschlafen

Nette Atmosphäre. Super entspannte junge Gäste und Personal. Gute Englischkenntnisse. Zu Fuss in 25min in den Ort.

Toilettenpapier darf nicht heruntergespühlt werden, sondern kommt in den Abfalleimer. Das finde ich sehr unangenehm. Keine Vorhänge oder Rollläden an der Balkontür. Nur Außenläden. Keine Klimaanlage. Bis spät Nachts Gerede draußen, so dass wir immer wieder aufgewacht sind. Das letzte Mal um 3 Uhr. Unter dem Laken auf dem Bett scheint eine Kunststofffolie zu sein. Kein gutes Schlafgefühl, man schwitzt und es knistert.

Good for the price

A good hostel for the price with really nice common areas and outdoor areas :)

One night around 3 am, new guests arrived at the dorm. The employee who brought them in slammed on all the lights and talked really loud (sounding moody) even though many people were sleeping. There are guidelines everywhere in the dorms emphasizing quiet time and respect for others, so it would be nice if the staff followed the rules. The wifi also worked badly in the dorm and the breakfast was a bit poor.

surprisingly dirty considering covid, no privacy curtain on balcony, no sign for cleaners to know if you want them to clean/not clean room, very uncomfortable bed, broken toilet seat & shower

Skvely personal, ktery byl velice pratelsky, vyborna snidane, pohodlne postele a ciste pokoje. Ve spolecnych prostorach je mozno pracovat, vyuzit kulecnik, fotbalek a ping pong.

Keine Grundausstattung auf den Zimmern. Trotz zweifachen Nachfragen bis zum Ende keine Seife erhalten. Zum Frühstück gab sehr wenig Auswahl.

Was a nice and chill stay. Had really fun and enjoyed it. Our Garden Room was really cute, but a little bit small.

The breakfast was not so good, coffee was from a vending coffee machine.. not so good. Same with the juices. sadly no fresh orangejuice. It would have been nice if someone changed the towels once.

Branded as a surf hostel, but more felt like a party hostel. Free beers, happy hours, pub crawl posters in the room. If you want to get up early and surf this is not the place as people come and go through the night.

1. Hostel reception works 24/7. Reception guys know their job very good, always polite, reasonable and helpful. 2. Really big territory of a hostel, which includes spacious co-working, dining areas, pool, skateboarding facilities, inside and outside bars, bbq facilities. 3. View of ocean is amazing from any point of a hostel. The view is not obstructed by buildings or constructions. 4. Fresh air and Quietness in the nights as no highways in the vicinity. 5. Hostel can arrange transfer to/from Lisbon airport.

1. Absence of laundry for hostel customers. I believe it could be nice if couple of washing machines and dryers were available for use at reasonable prices. 2. Absence of calisthenic workout ground.

Great Stay, Great Staff, Great Facilities

Great pool, great value for money for drinks and great access to the kitchen which was pretty well equipped.

Slight walk from the best surf beaches, with a 25-50 minute walk to a good beach.

The view

The staff was unfriendly, they were in a group of their own, not being socializing with the guests, the place full of bugs, not clean, the wifi only works in the conmen area (reception), although they saying in booking that rooms are accessible with wifi, all the social things they have to offer cost money - yoga, beer pong, hot dogs night (compare to other hostels in the area)

Okay place to stay

Fairly decent for the price, facilities and the bar were good. Lots of areas to sit and the private room is good.

Very noisy, rooms were really hot which meant you couldn’t close the doors. The location is far out and up a massive hill, so we had to get Ubers to surf. We waited hours to be checked in on our first day, which meant our early flight was useless.

Chairs in the garden are very comfy, there are places to hang out and chill.

After I checked in I noticed the plug on my bunk was not working. I informed the reception, they came the next day to fixed, after they left neither the plug nor the light was working. There is kitchen but it's forbidden to bring alcoholic drinks so you have to buy it from the bar. I wanted to use the swimming pool few times but it was very dirty, tried next day in case they clean it but it was worse. I'm not sure if they clean it at all.

one of the staff can be more friendly. the 6 bed dorm is very small so as the shower room. no enough space to open your luggage considering 6 ppl are sharing the space. common area sometimes gets messy, desks can be sticky with foods and drinks. wifi signal was weak in the room I stayed. Didn’t get connected at all during my stay.

Great hostel

Awesome hostel with great views and facilities! There was so much to do at the hostel like go to the pool, play table tennis, watch movies, yoga, skate park, hammocks, etc. Great social scene and the activities were fun! The rooms were clean and had enough space for everyone, also loved the views and the balcony. Breakfast was simple but very good! Good location, although a bit away from things, but the closest beach is about a 10-15min walk away and the town/stores are about a 15-20min walk away.

Some staff could have been friendlier in my opinion. The bathroom/shower in the room were clean but very small. I wasn't a fan of the room layout since the bathroom/shower/sinks are all in the same area as the beds, so if you're waking up early or coming back a bit later, you're bound to wake people up. Also didn't like that you couldn't use the kitchen after 10pm
