Things to do
Lake Tabourie has clear water and conditions range from calm and peaceful through to high surf. Crampton Island sits just off the coast and is accessible at low tide via a sand spit. Near the island the sea is generally calm and ideal for young children and snorkeling. North along Wairo beach and south from Tabourie to Meroo beaches the surf gradually builds offering consistent and well known surf beach and reef breaks. The entire foreshore is part of the Meroo national park, with no beach development offering spectacular views of unspoilt coastline and access to native flora and fauna.
The Tabourie museum on the highway is also an interesting visit.
The local shop (Tabourie Tucker box) offers essential groceries items, bait fuel, a takeaway and a bottle shop. An excellent roadside fruit stall operated on weekends.
Canoes can be hired from Tabourie Caravan Park.
Burrill Lake 5 minutes north of Lake Tabourie has tennis court available for hire, mini golf as well as good eating at Cafe Brill. It also offers some of the best fish and chips from the Burril Fish shop located on the Highway.
Ulladulla is only 10 minutes north and offers conveniences such as a cinema, Coles (open until midnight), Aldi, Funland (a good idea for a rainy day) and local restaurants. Just 5 minutes further on is the historic township of Milton with antique and specialty shops and great cafes.
Location
Lake Tabourie is located 3 hours from Sydney and Canberra and 10 minutes form Mollymook and Ulladulla.
From Sydney, head south and pass through Nowra, Ulladulla and Lake Burrill and continue a further 5 minutes on to Lake Tabourie.
From Canberra, head north from Bateman?s Bay and travel a further 30 mins. Lake Tabourie is 10 km north of Bawlley point.

We had a fantastic 4-night stay. The house was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped. We especially loved the coffee machine, which made our mornings perfect as we enjoyed coffee on the back deck. The 15-minute walk to the beach was a delight where we enjoyed exploring Crampton Island and crossing the land bridge at low tide.
The games room ping pong table was a hit with everyone. The weather was great, with one windy day followed by perfect conditions. The covered back deck was a cozy retreat, providing a lovely spot to relax in the sun.
Walking to local shops made it easy to resupply the essentials and Ulladulla provided all the required attractions. Highly recommend this property for a peaceful, fun-filled escape!

Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Well fenced for our dog and not treated like children with rules to read everywhere. Everything worked and there was WiFi even if it was not listed.

Location and set up was great, couple of things to note, was under the impression that there were two bathrooms as shown in the add or might have been a misprint, also the main TV think is way out dated and possibly should be updated, its not very important, but probably if a young family with kids would have difficulty operating it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is a little further from the beaches than I'd envisaged but still, no real problem. The hosts had left a great range of items that we typically forget, such as sunscreen, insect repellant detergents, cling wrap etc etc. The appliances are modern, the house clean and tidy, the outdoor areas are great and there are even lemons and limes growing in the yard for drinks and fish and chips. Fantastic! Loved it so much we asked for an additional night.

Great weekend away
We had a lovely stay. The yard was secure for our two dogs and we felt at ease leaving them there to head out for dinner or the beach. It had everything we needed and was an easy stroll to the lagoon and beach which is also dog friendly. The kids loved the variety of board games and the ping pong table.

Nice retreat for family especially with the furry friend(s) !!
Great location with walking distance to the pet friendly beach which my two dogs absolutely love it :). Only a short drive to places of interests and even to the town to get your groceries or necessities.
Shannon, the host has been great to communicate with. Always replied promptly to our queries with great details.
The only set back is no wi-fi and the TV and DVD player are not really functioning well but they are not really a big issue to us because you hardly have time to stay indoor with the beautiful beaches around.
Overall we are very happy ! Thanks Shannon.

The property is better in person than photo
Communication with the owner is easy. There were few hiccups but the owner respondes immediately which solve the issue quickly.
The house is big, I just wish there will be more than one toilet so we can bring more friends and family.
Lake Tabourie and beach is walking distance. The place very close to Ulladulla and Milton.

Perfect holiday house for a relaxing getaway from the city. Location is nice and quiet and a 10 min walk from lake/beach. Lots of space (can sleep up to 2 families) and great for dogs too with the fenced of garden and verandas. We highly recommend this property and will be back!
