the food amazing and the breakfast simply outstanding.
The rooms are basic and tired the shower room very small with old sanitaryware, but the price was in expensive and you gt what you pay for. Overall very happy and would stay again just for the food !

Charming square in the center of town. Pleasant staff and wonderful food.

Great central location fronting the square away from the main road. Amazing variety of food available for breakfast. Hotel offers very tasty meals for dinner if you choose to dine there. Free parking was available nearby and behind sister restaurant Agora 1955
The bed mattress was a little uncomfortable

It is located on the central square of the village which is the perfect spot to stay. Don’t miss their amazing breakfast!

Second stay here in a month now and once again, they exceed expectations! Room 103 this time that came with a separate private lounge area, mini fridge, tea and coffee, free (vert tasty) local beverage, chocolate, complimentary slippers and plenty of fresh and super clean towels. Also had a real open fire with fire wood provides for free! Bed was really big and super comfortable and the large balcony overlooking the square was excellent.
As I mentioned in my last review for Kritsa, you will not find a better breakfast anywhere in Volos or Pelion than here. Fresh and organic produce cooked to perfection, fantastic selection of cakes and treats as well. Evening supper was truly outstanding consistent with my last stay. Needless to say, I will be back again after Christmas!
Nothing I didn't like! What I would say is that for the service, location and quality provided, its too cheap.. I'd happily pay more because its worth it (particularly as regards the effort put into breakfast) You could and should charge at least an extra 10 euros each for this on top of the room price!

The hotel was situated above the restaurant, which by itself is a hot destination in the culinary scene of Portaria (or even Pelion). The rooms were cosy, not large, but ample and warm, giving a pleasant sleep experience. The breakfast, being an extension of the restaurant, was superb and with many options, changed every day. Additionally, having the restaurant at our feet, was an added bonus!
Not the hotel's fault, but due to being an old building, be prepared for a good workout due to the unavailability of an elevator.

vintage style, cozy and charming little hotel with a beautiful outside space and old oak tread, a great restaurant and excellent service.

The restaurant and the location is the reason to stay here. The square of Portaria is beautiful and the food they serve is wonderful.
the room was not that clean
4.7
Every single flavour they serve up in the restaurant has been carefully considered, amazing value when you consider the quality of the exquisite food they serve. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. We had the family room on the second floor with a small balcony overlooking the beautiful village square. Lots to do and see around the area and well worth the drive north from Athens. A fairytale experience.
