Super Hotel zum fairen Preis

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist leicht zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Wir haben uns hier wohl gefühlt.

Not clean as expected. There was not towels when we checked in. We called front desk twice and then they just provided 2 bath towels. We had to call them again for face or hand towels.

Location very near to TajMahal on East gate road

Near to Taj Mahal as you can walk, however not a resort as the name suggest. Needs a lot of work !

It was close to Taj Mahal and the Hotel reception communicated with me in advance and was helpful to arrange a tour guide for us in no time of our arrival which was great. Staff members are extremely helpful and responsive which made our stay bit comfortable.

The hotel room are too old and need bit of a fabrication improvement , inside the corridor its stinks and the bathroom setup makes the entire bathroom wet as the poorly designed shower with a shifty shower curtain just not enough. Hot water wasn't too hot have to wait for 10 minutes to get hot water ( though it got fixed) . Breakfast was included though it wasn't pleasant we managed to fill in little bit to regret it later. Yes, it was cheap costed only Rs4900 per the night but not a good value for money.

Book safari yourself well in advance

Liked the pool, bar, food, size of room, shower power.

That waiters tried to encourage you to have buffet rather than a la carte. Also that hotel booked us on 2 safaris, but in zones 7-8, when all info says 6-9 least chance of seeing a tiger.

Comfortable and friendly hotel close to the Taj Mahal

Great location close to the Taj Mahal, you can walk there. Good breakfast and helpful staff in the restaurant. Nice views from the roof.

A small detail, they need to change the instant coffee at breakfast to real fresh coffee.

Very comfortable hotel, amazing staff

Just next to the Taj Mahal. Very clean and comfortable hotel. I was unfortunately sick with high fever the whole of our stay and the staff was extremely helpful, finding me a doctor and organizing food for me as well as checking up on me. Thank you so much!

Pleasant

The staff were very helpful and supportive when we had an issue and helped us sort it. Location is very handy for the Taj Mahal. Pool is a welcome place after a day of sightseeing. Restaurant food, staff and setting were fabulous.

Perfect for the Taj Mahal

Our first hotel on our trip of 5 and this was by the far the best. Great location for the Taj Mahal. Nice breakfast but after we had picked out for the buffet then we were asked if we wanted an eggs for a omelette or fried so ask before you pick any food.

The hotel wanted a deposit before our stay so you end up paying more for your accomadation for example price quoted is £100 so you send £50 plus £10 international payment and then the hotel charges you for their bank transaction of £10 so you end up paying £120.

A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE BUT NOT THE STAR RATING WESTERNERS EXPECT.

STAFF WERE VERY PLEASANT AND THE LOCATION IDEAL THE ROOM WAS A REASONABLE SIZE AND CONFORTABLE.

THE HOTEL NEEDED A LITTLE TLC. IT APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN RUN DOWN COMPARED TO OUR FRIENDS STAY A YEAR BEFORE COVID SO SUSPECT IT HAD SUFFERED LACK OF MAINTENANCE DURING THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS.

Disappointing stay! Quality of the rooms are not upto the mark

The property is close to Taj Mahal only advantage. Rest everything is disappointing. The quality and standards of the room was extremely disappointing. The staff behaviour was polite but could have been better.

The rooms were not insulated and there was constant disturbances during the night. Swimming pool was closed and there is no view of Taj Mahal from the terrace. Although this was mentioned that Taj is visible from hotel but thats far from reality. How can a couple survive with 1 litre of water for entire day? Though they are strict in charging the customer 60rupees for a litre of water. Breakfast was not quite upto the mark, Foreing nationals are given privilage experience during dining (they are briefed on what all dishes are available) while for us we have to ask and guess if the dish is included in the buffet. Coffee/tea is served directly to the foreigners while we have to serve ourselves. Overall disappointing experience.

Amazing team

I liked the culture and the city of Agra. All staff were very kind and accommodating. They work hard and try to please every guest. They very helpful when they come to tours and places to visit and eat. There shop that they have is very reasonable and quality. Id recommend supporting them as the items they sell are beautiful. They even manage to book a train for me to Jaipur which helped us out alot on our trip. Very good team at Hotel Raj Resort

It was not at all value for money, rather it was waste of money

Only 1 thing to be liked about thus hotel was its location, it’s proximity with taj mahal

The bed was pathetic, very uncomfortable, couldn’t sleep whole night, room was in basement, so no fresh air or even light, it was quiet caustiphobic… something kept biting us all night, Donno wether it was bed bugs or some mostiqous, very bad smell in the washroom and the room as the room was in the basement..

fantastic place if you want to go see the Taj and reasonably priced. The negatives are likely ones that you can’t avoid

Good location from the Taj Mahal with exceptionally friendly staff. The restaurant serves some of the finest Indian food we have ever had.

The cleanliness of the room is passable so don’t expect luxury. It was too cold for the swimming pool however it didn’t look too clean when we checked it out. The prices for goods in the Taj Gallery seemed 3-4 times that which you can get outside.
