Merveilleux

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour pour la disponibilité de nos hôtes sans qu'ils soient envahissant, un excellent naturel et copieux petit-déjeuner, la propreté des chambres et des extérieurs ainsi que la piscine, un lieux calme et discret qui est parfait pour une halte ou un séjour comme nous.

Da piscina, do quarto, da sala de pequeno almoço, de toda quinta. Muito sossegado! Excelente para descansar! Todo o espaço envolvente muito bonito e muito bem tratado! Atendimento excelente! Pessoas muito simpáticas e disponíveis! Tudo muito limpo e o pequeno almoço excelente com os produtos da quinta! Adorei!

Lo recordaré siempre !!

El alojamiento reúne todo lo necesario para disfrutar del lugar elegido para tus vacaciones . Tanto Lina como Henrique son encantadores con los huéspedes desde que pones los pies en su alojamiento. Nosotros estuvimos en el apartamento cigüeña y es sensacional . Cuenta con cocina y tu nevera y su menaje y el salón es amplio con un Sofá y TV , con su ducha y baño y una habitación amplia y muy cómoda la cama y sus almohadas. La decoración del alojamiento es bonito y sencillo pero con un bonito colorido y muy armónico . Los desayunos sensacionales con variedad de fruta , embutidos de todo tipo . Lina te sirve siempre el zumo natural y el café con mucho cariño . Tb tiene una mermelada casera muy buena . Todo está finca está llena de árboles frutales Es un lugar cómodo y bonito con gente encantadora y a 4 km de Tavira alejado del ruido de la ciudad . Totalmente recomendable.

Hidden gem, excellent bio breakfast, amazing host!

Everything was outstanding: from the warm and friendly welcoming to the cozy clean room, unique bio "from the yard" breakfast and great pool. We'd love to revisit some time, this house was our top Portugal stay!

Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit paradiesischer Flora (Orangen-, Avocado-, Mangobäume)

Sehr saubere und gepflegte Anlage. Die Zimmer haben Moskitonetze und einen kleinen Kühlschrank, Geschirr darf man aus dem Frühstücksraum nutzen. Somit ist auch kalte Selbstverpflegung möglich. Der Pool war sehr sauber, haben ihn aber nicht genutzt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Tolles Frühstück mit selbst gebackenem Kuchen, Früchten aus dem eigenen Garten (Orangen, Avocados). Frisch gepresster O-Saft! Ein Gedicht👍 Die relativ späte Frühstückszeit (9 -10) ist aber nichts für Frühaufsteher.

Au coeur de l'Orangerie.

Accueil très sympathique...tout est bien pensé, décoré avec goût. L'endroit est très calme, spacieux. Les équipements sont de bonne qualité. Endroit parfait, pas trop près du tumulte du bord de mer pour passer un agréable séjour...

Havre de paix au milieu des orangers

L'amabilité de l'accueil, la beauté du site, des bâtiments et des aménagements intérieurs et extérieurs. La piscine, le petit déjeuner. La propreté des lieux et le calme.

Il aurait été commode d'avoir une étagère dans la salle de bains. Sinon, tout était OK.

A peaceful break

We had a fantastic stay at beautiful Quinta Almargem Lusitano and were very sad we had to continue after a couple of nights. The room was big and clean , with a comfortable bed and an amazing view! The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety! Lina and her family were very kind and welcoming and the dog Mel was so playful and sweet! The farm house is located in a really quiet neighborhood . We definitely recommend this beautiful place.

Couldn’t be happier

Hosts are a family who are extremely accommodating and friendly during your stay - the best customer service I have received on holiday. Breakfast was great and left us feeling full every morning. A few minutes drive from a supermarket and no more than 10 mins to central Tavira. Holiday more suited to having a vehicle if you plan to explore but also a lovely spot to relax with enough nearby

The air con could have been more powerful as the room felt hot on a night, but it was very hot temperatures even for Portugal so it is understandable

Starry Nights at Luxury Farmhouse Close to Tavira

What a treat! As soon as we arrived and were offered coffee and homemade orange cake we knew this charming accommodation was going to be special. Beautiful breakfast served buffet style with additional treats like white figs from the garden. Immaculate rooms and surroundings in a quiet location but a short drive from Tavira. Switch your lights off at night and enjoy the stars!

We should have stayed longer.

Superb amazing property

Our room was almost off a courtyard accessible to the lovely garden where avacados and Lemons grew. Further down on the garden there was an orange grove. All of this fresh produce was served for breakfast. Each room had a liitle pruvate area to sit.. Pool on the grounds where towels were provided.. Breakfast was suberb. And the fresh baked orange cake was mouthwatering.. Towels were changed regularly. And the decor of room was simple but so beautiful.touches. Perfect good big shower.. And Mel the dog and Rico the cat made friends with all guests where we all basked in the sun together... 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating.. The storks daily entertained us with the beak clapping.. Like out of a movie. . Just superb..

Great location, very pleasant setting, decoration is simple but elegant, breakfast was good, owner was friendly and generous.

Minor issues only: the phone system to open the gate is a pain, toilet seat a bit wonky, coffee not great.

Highly recommend

Beautiful location. A few minutes drive to beaches. Beautiful grounds, rooms immaculate. Each room has a beautiful outdoor space. Cute pool with great loungers. Beautifully landscaped area, awesome to see orange trees, avacoda and more. Breakfast was delicious with fresh orange juice from farm, lovely orange cake, fresh eggs from farm. A lot of history, 125 y old bougainvillea planted by owners Grandfather .

Everything was wonderful. Our stay was too short.

Lovely farm stay

We booked a room with a terrace which was lovely. Sitting out enjoying the garden and relaxing in the beautiful surrounds was just what we needed in the middle of our busy Portugal and Spain road trip. Room was lovely and clean, tastefully furnished and hosts were extremely friendly.

A nice place for a short stay but would advise having a car

Attractive farmhouse in a quiet rural area. Very clean throughout. Staff were friendly. Good breakfast provided, though exactly the same every day. We didn’t have a car as like to walk everywhere, but to get to Tavira or Cabanas you can only walk on the main road which is very busy. There is a bus stop at the end of the lane, but buses are quite infrequent.

I was disappointed that breakfast was served inside, as the weather was lovely, and there were no seating areas in the courtyard as shown on the photos. You could only sit out on your terrace, no cushions on chairs. The pool area had only 3 sun loungers, no other furniture, so wasn’t an inviting place to spend time in.

A beautiful property with most welcoming hosts

The Almargem Farm House is a stunningly beautiful property ran by the sweetest souls. The stay felt more like I was staying with relatives rather than strangers. The place is impeccably clean and smells wonderful. The service couldn’t possibly be any better. I’m vegan, and my experience has been that plant based food isn’t a big part of Algarve cuisine. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs cooking up a feast for breakfast with roasted vegetables, avo on toast, nuts and fruit. They gave great recommendations and accommodated a super late check out with a smile. My stay was memorable. Thank you for your genuine smiles and care. Greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

A peaceful break

After a tiring few days visiting Cordoba and Cadiz we needed a break before going on to Seville.The quiet surroundings, beautifully maintained accommodation and the helpfulness of the owners perfectly achieved this. Excellent breakfasts.

Best stay of our 3 week holiday in Portugal

we booked for one night and stayed 3. would’ve stayed a week at this small family run ‘quinta’ guesthouse. Our charming hosts, the relaxed environment, homemade and homegrown breakfasts were exceptional. room was good size with patio small kitchenette and lovely bath. bed very comfortable. welcoming and charming. thank you so much

What an excellent place, simply wonderful.

This wonderful hotel is set on the owner’s organic farm. Their farm provided almost all our breakfast foods: fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs straight from the hen, bread warm from the oven, and more! The rooms were very comfortable, nicely appointed, and spectacularly clean. Great rain shower, too. We liked everything about this place!

A peaceful haven

As soon as we arrived, we knew it was gonna be the highlight of our Portugal trip. And it was! The house is beautiful, with friendly animals and impeccable service that made us feel really welcome, always making sure we had everything we needed. The propriety is clean, spacious and really well located. It was the perfect launching pad to explore the Algarve, and the perfect place to come back to after a long day. I would stay there again and would definitely recommend to anyone going to the region!

My only regret is not staying longer!

We have been traveling for a month out of Alaska. The hosts and facility were the best we had experience in all is Spain

Quinta Almargem Lusitano was very beautiful place to rest. The host and her husband made us feel like part of the family. Impeccably clean and the food was better then we received in many restaurants! Fresh juices each morning from their own grown fruit trees. Fresh egg from the chicken on their farm. A relaxing environment to rest, pool to swim and 5 minute drive to the center of Tavira! The beaches on the strand are very comfortable and renting chase lounges w/ sun shields out of Barrell wee great!

The layout is very comfortable and the pool is a dream to sit and sun or read a book and nap

I will return to this property when visiting The Algarve.

The property sits on farmland about ten minutes by car from central Tavira. The structure is simple and beautiful with a farmhouse kitchen and lovely outdoor patio areas for each accommodation. The pool is private and welcoming at the far end of the property.

if you are travelling for leisure or for work, this property gives you a respite from busier accommodations. you can sit on your patio with a glass of wine (generously provided by the hosts) or work quietly.

Beautiful relaxing holiday in relaxing, peaceful setting

Beautiful accommodation, spotlessly clean and tucked away in a quiet backwater but only 8 mins car drive to Tavira. Alina was a super hostess and nothing was too much trouble, even making us food and coffee for our 6.30am flight departure.
