Ach wie schön ist .... das Hotel Deutscher Kaiser

Das Hotel liegt einfach traumhaft und bot einen hervorragenden Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge aller Art. Ein sehr freundlicher warmherziger Empfang, der rund um die Uhr hilfreich zur Seite steht und ein Zimmerupgrade vom Feinsten haben unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen! Das Hotel liegt etwas versteckt im Gebäude und die Zimmer verteilen sich dann. Jede (eigentlich unattraktive Ecke) wird liebevoll dekoriert und bietet maritime Aspekte, die auch zum Verweilen einladen. Der Frühstücksraum war eine Überraschung und das sehr vielseitige und üppige Frühstück boten einen hervorragenden Start in den Tag! Das Zimmer war ein Traum mit Ausblick auf die Trave und die großen Schiffe. Die gemütliche Sitzecke und die Größe des Raumes konnten wir als Familie gut nutzen. Das Bett war sehr bequem und insgesamt haben wir uns in dem Zimmer sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen vielen Dank für den weihnachtlichen Aufenthalt! Gerne kommen wir wieder!!!

The room was nice and location was good

Quite expensive, especially with a dog they charge 15 euros per dog (which is ok) with an additional 50 euro cleaning fee (not ok), meaning that bringing a dog for one night costs 65 euros. This is way too much but we didn't have time to look for another hotel. Hotel restaurant was under renevation and there was no breakfast, which was ok for us but not ideal.

In general dissatisfied....not planning on returning.

The bed was comfortable but room was too hot. The location was ok.

The room was very small and I slammed my head into the ceiling several times. At breakfast we couldn't sit outside 10 min before 8:00 because we would 'disturb' the guests and we were awakened when they set the tables???? The signage in the hotel was all very negative.

A Great Stay

Great location right on the harbor where all the restaurants and shopping are and an easy half-mile walk to the beach. Breakfast buffet was very good with a lot of options. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

No view of the water from our room (from any of the rooms?), no elevator to the second floor in half of the building.

Nice hotel, excellent situation

The view from the room was excellent like a dream! The night very quiet, the room clean and spacious. Good beds! Breakfast fresh, staff excellent. At check out the lady was very friendly and nice. Nothing to complain!

Wonderfull breakfaust, and the view from hotellroom was spectacular. Fantastic personal they were very helpful even though it is tough with the Pandemia. It was a very safe stay.

nice overnight stay

I appreciated the 24hrs reception - due to my extremelly late arrival I was only able to check-in after 3.00 a.m. The room was quiet, spacious and in general very comfortable.
