the acreage around
that our cottage was a duplex

A lovely cottage that was immaculately clean, with very comfortable bedding and equipped with everything you need for a short stay in the Hunter, and nothing you don’t. A peaceful location and still very accessible to the vineyards.
some firewood provided would have been the icing on the cake

Lovely location in bushland. Close to vineyards. Quiet and well-appointed.

I didn't use the wifi as I was out of the place mostly at a conference. The place was very comfortable, peaceful and private.
There was nothing I 'didn't like' but I guess some of the furniture looked a little 'tired'

The cottage was well kept, comfortable and clean. Perfect spot for families with kids, plenty of outdoor space for activities

Great location
Shame about the weather as we could only use the pool one day. Great spot for the little kids to roam free.
2.0
Bedroom Air conditioning not working. Turns itself off a while and flashes light, double checked settings and this was not due to timer.
Shower head a bit outdated. Water does not come out properly.

It was fine I think they could work on the gardens so a lot greener. A few native plants would make the world of difference. The kitchen and bathrooms could use an upgrade but not a priority over the garden. Felt a little unsafe with the excessive security - but better to have it I guess. Pool was sparkling clean on arrival.
Bees by the pool. Got stung first afternoon. No taxis. Not enough plants in the garden.

peace and quiet
smelly sewerage smell throughout the bathrooms. strong when we arrived. coffee machine was crap. microwave didn’t work properly. bbq didn’t look real flash. air con dripped outside bedroom window all
night. no bathroom upstairs.

Having a wood fire was wonderful. We enjoyed our four night stay in the Fantail villa. We were only disturbed by the occasional roaring of lions in the nearby zoo, which really wasn't a problem. We enjoyed the fact that we had privacy, could come and go as we pleased and the facilities were excellent. We also enjoyed having access to a gas barbecue at the villa. The one bedroom Fantail villa is perfect for a couple wanting a break away from the city in the Hunter.
Nothing really.

Lovely outlook. Very clean and everything provided. We just brought our food. It was a perfect base for ou special weekend in the Hunter. We will definitely rebook and recommend

Lovely homely cottage on a spacious property surrounded by bush land, great for kids! Fab location close to the zoo and some beautiful wineries, also quick and easy to get into Cessnock for dinner, shopping etc.
We loved the cosy wood burner and the rooms and beds were all very comfortable and spacious.
The kitchen was rather small. It was well equipped with everything you need but with little space to prepare meals and little cupboard space to store own food.
Loved the extra fridge for wine though, very handy!

Was peaceful location and cottage was just what was shown on internet. Had everything you needed. Just had to bring food and alcohol.
The shower had very slow water flow to rinse of soap and shampoo but still managed ok
