Invincible scenery
Need to improve on the service attitude. It is true that I found that I forget something in the hotel when I arrived in the airport. But the waiter directly suggested that I throw it away. Although it is not very valuable, it makes me feel very bad.

it’s like a manor, a home away from home. the staff are so so kind and helpful! the room was bigger than my flat in London and I think it’s the best hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. Kim Pienaar, the guest relations manager is so knowledgeable about the area and is a fountain of knowledge of where to eat and what to do!

The rooms were enormous and very comfortable, the dining room was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Michaela and Gaynor. We enjoyed playing tennis on the court which has amazing views. It was such a relaxing and calm hotel to stay in. 10 minute drive into hermanus.

location and beautiful surroundings and views. Quality of the service.
Nothing; menu could be widened.

rooms were spacious and the views were spectacular.
Biggest disappointment was the food which we found to be very average. Had to go into hermanus for dinner the one night because we really did not enjoy the dinner from the previous evening.
We stayed in the waterfall suite. Spacious room but found the decor too dark.

What an incredible place. Gorgeous setting and incredible room.

Breakfast, like allmeals, was excellent. Served outside. Nothing too much trouble.
Pool could have been bigger and would be better with steps for easier access. Lagoon was warm but too much weed. Again it would have been good to have clearer easier access to the open water.

Well designed beautiful interiors and private garden attached to room we stayed in with magnificent views
WiFi speed very slow

The kindness and helpfulness of the staff, the view on the bay, the interiors
The tennis court requires maintenance, the balls were all pinched, the gym TV did not work: you can see that they were not yet ready to receive guests in the high season

quiet restful location out of the business of Hermanus

Staff attention to detail was out of this world. Always someone on hand to greet you, welcome you hand, arrange breakfast/dinner. We were very kindly upgraded to a lake view room from the one bed mountain room that we had actually booked, which was a wonderful surprise given the size of the room! Great breakfast included within the cost. We also had dinner at the hotel too. As we were the only ones dining we were asked if there was anything we wanted to specifically request given the chef would be cooking just for us. Honestly such a great stay. Thanks so much.
That we stayed a little longer ;-)
