One of the best hostels I have ever stayed. Excellent internet connection if you need to take calls or do some work (around 100 Mbps). The kitchen is really clean and fully equiped, bathrooms were spotless as well, dorms with AC, 300 meters from the beach. A fantastic experience, will come back for sure.

The hostel is in a great location, just far enough away for it to be away from the hustle of taramindo, but close enough to walk in.
Everything is kept clean, it’s no 5 star hotel, but finds a great balance between comfort and cool.
Everyone was respectful of keeping the noise down late.
The staff and long term residents are welcoming, inviting newcomers out etc.
Also good to have the pool to cool down in.
Mosquitos, but that’s everywhere on the coast.

It was cleaned every day by a nice woman. The pool was amazing and the area around it was nice for relaxing. It was really calm and the kitchen was big and clean. Really quiet during the night.

This was one of the best hostel stays of my life! The hostel is in a great location, off the main drag so quiet at night, but close to beach and main drag. At 10pm it is completely quiet, which is great for early risers and surfing. The bathrooms and showers were spotless and the AC was really good. I also appreciate the free coffee in the morning.
Nothing!

Super clean, super comfortable. Great price for the private room. Bathrooms are easily accessible and spotless. Location is excellent. Great free coffee in the morning. Well-equjpped kitchen.
There was never anyone working at reception. We didn't know who lived there and who worked there. Most times we asked for staff they said they were not on shift and to try back later.
It kind of felt like a whole family moved in here and like we were in their space, not in a hostel. Not warm or inviting or social. No patio lights in the evening to encourage socializing, super dark.
It just felt like we were in someone's house and more of a bother than welcomed as guests. An introduction from the staff about who is living & working there would make it more comfortable. But it was really clean and really nice so it sort of made up for the weirs vibes.

Big rooms, nice pool, good kitchen, and helpful people working there.
A bit expensive.

This is a great place to relax. The reception and large kitchen face the lounge and pool area. They have sun beds, plenty of hammocks, and the pool is sunny fir most of the day.
They play a nice, eclectic mix of music in the kitchen-reception area. It’s not too repetitive or too loud, you can hold conversations without yelling and it’s turned off by 10pm. I also like that they don’t generally play music at 7am when the kitchen opens so you get to start the day quietly, with only the sounds of nature.
The owner’s spouse Caro will bring her young son out for a daily swim, she’s very nice.
Bathrooms are spacious, everything is kept clean and there is a night guard on duty between 10pm and 7am. I booked 4 days and extended 4 more.
Bed was comfy.
For those interested in the Glamping tents, they have just rebuilt them with a protective cover above the tent so when it rains, the rain will hit the cover, nit the tent. They look very nice.
The wifi works well outside but lags in the dorm room. Also, there are no personal charger plugs next ti the beds, only a 7-USB group plug in the room.
The lockers are a bit small but at least they have some.

Well equipped kitchen, great sunbeds, big room and the beds were really comfortable.

One of the best hostels I stayed on so far. The room was nice and clean, they even made the bed every day.
There were enough showers for everyone and a well equipped kitchen. I especially enjoyed the pool area with hammocks.
And on top of that the staff was really nice and helpful whenever you needed them.
Nothing to complain.

Hostel area was simple, but clean and cozy!
Some privacy would be nice, because bed didn’t have curtains. Also reading light and plug next to the bed would help!

We stayed in the tent and I was really nice! The pool was nice, but quite hot so not refreshing. Kitchen was well-equipped. Staff was really friendly and fellow travellers!
It’s quite far from town, 5-10 min walking. The tent was inhabitable during the day, very hot!

It probably all depends what your looking for, but this hostel was perfect for me! I ended up staying for 2 weeks. The staff were super friendly, good atmosphere/vibe in the hostel, but not party-like , just very very chill :) it was always relax but definitely quiet after 10pm. The hostel is very spacious, dorms are big and with A/C , sanitary block was clean and efficient. I loved the hammocks and the pool. The beach is 5min walk. Kitchen was also very tidy and fun to use.
