About this apartment rental
This well-designed condominium, is in a quiet niche on the Sugarbush Access Rd. 2 miles from the Sugarbush Mountain All Season Resort, which offers some of the prettiest Green Mt. terrain for hiking, walking, swimming, canoeing, tubing and skiing in the Northeast. It accommodates easily a party of four, and has a spacious upstairs/downstairs feel of comfort and privacy. The Mad River Bus shuttles skiers, free of charge, from the condo to Lincoln Peak (South). This shuttle bus is called The Valley Floor. Since the schedule of the Mad Bus tends to change, it is best to call the company when on site to determine its route.
There is storage in the Mudroom for outdoor gear, and a large boot/glove drier on the first floor. There is 1 bedroom on the first floor with a new Queen size bed and attached bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with basic supplies, oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator; the dining area easily seats 4; a sky-lighted living room has ample seating. Freshly painted, and a flat screen smart TV, plus internet, complete the downstairs. Although there is a firebox in the living room, the local fire Marshall has prohibited guests from making fires. My deep apologies.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, the Master bedroom with a new King sized bed and attached full bath, plus washer/drier; and a 2nd bedroom with twin bunk beds, which are suitable for kids but not adults ( weight limit around 150 pounds).
The Warren/Waitsfield vicinity abounds with activities from scenic drives to river rafting, local artisans' craft fairs, hiking, cycling, soaring and the wonderful colors of Autumn foliage. From June through September a Farmers'Market thrives on the green in Waitsfield, showcasing local produce and crafts for tasting and purchasing. There are often wine tastings at Vermont vineyards and the Cabot Cheese Barn offers tours and tastings (and purchases).
The winter season provides excellent skiing, both on groomers as well as woods skiing at Sugarbush Resort and Mad River Glen. Clay Brook , Sugarbush's new condominium/timeshare facility is open to the public and features a fine restaurant, cocktail lounge and nearby pub. Shopping, from easy groceries to fine gourmet delicatessens, from ski shops on slope to fine apparel and unique boutiques, can all be accessed within a 5 mile radius of the property.

Great time!

Weather was bad, so skiing wasn't great but that didn't stop us from having an enjoyable time at this great place. It was clean, well stocked and close to the mountain and multiple little VT towns with good food.

My friends and I were visiting Warren for a extended weekend in February! Linda was a more than gracious host, who communicated before and after our stay with all the details we needed for our ski weekend. The entire condo was clean and comfortable throughout. A close 5 minute drive to Sugarbush was also a great benefit for us the Saturday we went skiing. Since we couldn't control the mild winter weather, this was a great place to relax with some old hometown friends for our off mountain time, as well as explore Warren. Would love to return again for any season!

This condo was well located, directly off of the Sugarbush access road, with easy access to the main road to go to town (Warren & Waitsfield). The property was comfortable and well equipped for a ski weekend. This is an older condo with a nostalgic vibe which our family loved. Kitchen is small but ample space in the living room made for a cozy stay and lots of family bonding over board games and music CDs (we loved the Little Feat album!). Host was helpful with pre-arrival instructions and making sure we were ready for our stay. Condo was clean and Covid protocols were well followed. We will definitely rent again.

The condo was as shown in picture and very roomie for our family of five. We stayed 6 days over New Years. Easy access to both Lincoln Peak and Mt Ellen. Very quiet complex with friendly neighbors. Condo had all amenities, was a classic tight space condo kitchen. The tall ceiling living and first floor access out back was great! Linda was an excellent host.

We had a great time staying here. The owner was very kind and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, and the condo was clean & cozy. Relaxing by the fire w/ a glass of wine after a day on the slopes was heaven. Little things the owner provided such as full sets of dishes, glassware, pots, pans, bath soaps, soft TP, etc. made our stay even better.

We had a great time staying in this condo! Linda was super responsive and really helpful - with directions and details about the property. It was a quick drive to Sugarbush mountain and very close to the local ski shop if you need rentals. The condo had everything you need in the kitchen, wifi, a great TV, fireplace and plenty of space for six. We would definitely stay there again!

We are currently enjoying our skiing vacation in this lovely home. It is perfect for our family of 4 plus a friend. We have enjoyed the living area in the evenings around the fireplace. The bedrooms are all heated seperately and very cozy. The kitchen has yet to disappoint. I look in the drawers and find what I need every time. The washer and dryer have allowed for packing lighter. We will be booking this home again in the future. It is centrally located close between both Warren and Waitsfield. Both Sugarbush and Mad River Glen are within an easy drive. I cannot wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the pool. Thank you Linda for the opportunity to share your home in Vermont.
