Excellent place to stay overnight or few days

Easy to find, clean, modern, comfortable. Would def go stay here again.

Walls are very thin, you can hear everything.

Passable

Convenient location and quiet. Good for early morning flight from Stansted.

A bit dusty round the table and skirting boards. One of the dining chairs is broken. Only 3 mugs (4 of us).

Ok for an overnight stay when visiting Newmarket races

Ok for 1 night stay

Unfortunately when we cooked breakfast there were only 2 forks- we were a party of 4 as stated on booking form

Good value for money.

All in, there's even iron available. Very sunny apartment. Good value for money. We were allowed to check in early.

Only 3 forks and no teaspoons, only 3 mugs. Bathroom accesible only through bedroom.

The location was pleasant and quiet. Cleanliness acceptable. Sofa beds very good. Info for check in clear Muhammed helpful Good value Small problems easily rectified

Not enough sheets and towels left for all 4 guests. The cleaner apologised and said it was his mistake. Only 3mugs 1chipped. SLIGHTLY Dusty bedroom .No teaspoons, Shower could have been cleaner dirty door yrack.

Fab, woukd stay again.

Very clean and modern, all we needed for a self catering overnight

We couldn’t find instructions for the cooked so had to google.

a bit disappointing in places, but had a good nights sleep.

Bedroom and En-suite were all fine. Had a good nights sleep, quiet and comfortable. The shower was good.

There was only one cup available, it transpired that the other, plus dishes etc were still in the dishwasher. However, the dishwasher hadn't cleaned well, apart from the cup which we cleaned, we left the rest in situ. The welcome tray was just daft. An open canderal sachet on top of some others that were unopened, plus some other sugar. No tea bags, coffee or milk etc. Just salt and pepper. The yellow scourer for washing up was filthy, as was the oven glove and the oven had white cleaning fluid in the bottom which was off-putting so we didnt use it. The blinds in the lounge were down when we arrived and it seems that this because they dont work. Just needs a bit of attention and this would be a much better place to stay.

good i would recommend

there is no yellow lines outside anyone's houses but two of your neighbours asked me to move my car as they park there own cars outside there house been better if you had your own private parking area or you could use the parking for your property

i had no hot water for a shower...... was able to grab a shower at work but could have been an issue for others.

overall very good. would stay again but would ask for heating to be put on prior to arrival.

cheap and good location instruction were easy to follow.

could not get the heating to work and being December it was cold, also found a plug in heater but this was broken.

Freedom to come and go as we pleased. Helpful host and good kitchen facilities.

Bed too near the wall. My husband had to climb over to get in and out.

better then expected

The apartment was small but excellent for a short stay. I really need to give them 10 star because they really deserve it, great great host. the heating were not working and they went and bought some heaters to heat up the house. really great, fantastic

A good solution for a short-term work stay

We used the flat as a weekend stay while working in the area. The kitchen was well equipped and reasonably clean, with washing machine and dishwasher in working order, with spacious fridge. The shower was very good and toiletries appropriate and clean.

The keys pickup was very inconvenience and needlessly complicated - instructions need shortening and streamlining. The communication with the host could have been better, but ended up being somewhat unpleasant. The bed is quite small, and the broken blinds in both the living room and bedroom meant that we could barely see outside. The speed of the internet is nowhere near the 350mbps advertised (Ookla registered 38/20 - which is still absolutely fine) The price could be lower, considering location, amenities and size of the property.

Please book you wont regret it and the owner he is wonderful.

Loved the place, was clean, comfortable and the owner was exceptional called him on many occasions and he was patient with us and attended to our needs without hesitation. We will book this place once again definitely.

Great place to stay

A very comfortable place to stay, clean and with all the essentials, including washing machine/dryer, dishwasher and a toaster! Extra duvets and covers were available and the area was nice and quiet. Will recommend

The only thing annoying was the back entrance that goes into the garden. It was hard to open as it seemed stuck and every time took us a good 10 mins to get in.

Great stay at Fennec

The location is convenient, easy access to a lovely park in a quiet area. There is a courtyard that has a little seating area. The apartment is very modern and kitted out with all the essentials. The place is clean and the spare bedding is a nice touch. The host was very gracious and accomodating. He allowed us an early check-in and bag storage in addition to being very amenable when we had to change our booking a but during the stay. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect stay night before a wedding travelling with 8 month child

Great location and convenient. Clean and well maintained.

Sofa bed, fans, free Wi-Fi, court yard space, night light, secure and local park.

Ideal for our purposes. we were able to attend the festival refreshed each day. 5 min drive.

Good comms and instructions. We used the apartment as a base for the Cambridge Folk festival - for which it was ideal.

Bit cramped for three (a couple and a teenage boy) but it was comfortable and served our needs. As we only needed it to sleep and refresh it was fine. Breakfast at at nearby Tescos or the festival site was fine.

Superb

A comfortable bedroom and separate room for the kitchen and lounge combined. Only the bathroom was a little cramped. The kitchen was well appointed.

The directions for accessing the key and getting through the gate were emailed to me, but since my email filters are set to high, the landlord's directions wound up in my junk email folder, not accessible on my Android device. I wound up interrupting the landlord's family to get the key. It would have been better to convey the key retrieval directions via the booking.com message system instead of by direct email. Fortunately the landlord was very understanding. An outdoor potted plant or possibly two in the courtyard would be a welcome contrast to the unrelenting surrounding brick and make the entry courtyard more inviting.
