Overpriced, needs some work done, paint, panels to cover cables and reduced parking prices.

Location was good. Breakfast was nice and room was spacious.

In a need of a makeover. Walking down the hallways and some missing panels above were revealing cable wires. Needs painting. No locks on the lockers in the pool changing rooms, pool reception didn’t have any towels left for us so had to go back to the room to get room towels. Parking in the nearest NCP was £44 for just over 24 hours!! With a 10% discount from the hotel which brought it down to £41. We will never stay here again unless parking is reduced by half. We paid £180 for a family room. Breakfast was ok but the hotel is in need of a serious update. Our room was nice but there was a strange pillar in our bathroom which left you with barely enough room to sit down on the toilet.

Great location, great room. We chose it over others because of the pool and this area was dirty!

The bedrooms were newly decorated and a good size, fantastic to have a shower and a bath

The pool changing rooms were awful, they were dirty, there were plasters and tissues on the floor. There were also no towels available, meaning we had to use the towels from our room. Breakfast was ok, however many of the cooked items were over cooked and dry. When checking out there was a family at the desk and there was some confusion over how much they had to pay, the member of staff dealing with their issue was very rude to them.

Customer service needs improvement

The room was nice enough though I was sad to see we did not have a dressing table. I also asked for robes and we did not get any . The pool was absolutely freezing how on earth they call that heated I’ll never know.

Freezing cold pool. No robes. No dressing table. Would not allow me to collect Hilton honors because we’d booked with booking . Com. All a con considering they still got my money over another Cardiff hotel. I won’t be as loyal next time.

Comfortable ,but in some ways disappointing.

Central to Cardiff. Leisure centre

Parking -expensive and nothing worse than having to carry your all your luggage in the pouring rain in your 70's to a NCP carpark where the payment machine decides not to work. For a hotel costing this much there should be allocated parking. Breakfast extremely expensive The original coffee machines provided for the event caused problems for the event staff until replaced. Not given an invoice or print out for the cost of our stay -with a comment that 'we have taken it off the card you used to prebook'.

Overall good stay.

Very specious rooms, amazing shower and bathrooms, and excellent location.

Breakfast options can be improved with more quality products. Room facilities must be provided like room slippers, welcome water bottles etc.

Good hotel with parking

Room was good and the bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Staff upon arrival were warm and friendly as were the staff in the bar area. We have stayed here many times; mainly when we are collecting or dropping off our daughter to uni.

Unlike every other hotel we stay in there is no water in Hilton hotels. Also there was very little supply of tea and milk; only enough for one cup each.

Die Lage war sehr gut, direkt in der Innenstadt. Besonders geschätzt haben wir auch, dass es einen eigenen Parkplatz gab. Das Personal war freundlich und das Frühstück reichhaltig.Für einen kurzen Städtetrip war das Hotel ideal.

Great stay and customer service.

The lighting in the room was ok a bit dark and a few of the bulbs were flickering. Bed was comfy, pillows were to die for. Didn’t stay for breakfast but it smelt amazing, will definitely try it next time.

There was a lack of towels and the room was quite dark.

Loved our stay would definitely recommend and stay again.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Great location , fantastic range of breakfast for every one to enjoy. The staff very friendly.

Wish our room had two beds as we were a family of four and the swimming area for the Hilton could do with an upgrade and the changing facilities were a big let down.

The staff were amazing & granted us the early check in as requested. Adam in particular was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was lovely & choice fabulous. Air conditioning was great

The car parking cost seems excessive, £39.99 per night is a lot of money. Our room was very nice but when it came to doing my make up & hair their was no mirror by a plug point which I've never had before in a hotel. Their was also no shelf space or cabinet to place toiletries in the bathroom. The tap is constantly dripping in the bathroom, this didnt bother us but thought you should be made aware of it

Fantastic hotel, great location, staff were amazing, especially Freya who worked in the Bar.

The hotel was in a great location. The room were lovely and clean. Staff was really helpful. The bar staff were amazing, especially Freya who was a great help :). A great hotel that we would definitely go back too.

The expense of the car park. We parked in a different location because of this.

The staff were amaizing and friendly. I had diner alone in the graze and a Young lady from Ukrane chatted with me and made me laugh. Her name is Yulia.

Room Sheets/bedding had a bit of stuffy smell that affected the room and my sleep. I have exeptional sense of smell.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Spacious rooms with amazing location.

A light bulb was broken when we got into our room. It even short circuted all electricity in our room when someone came to fix it. Although, it was scary to witness and we were worried of staying in the same room. The problem was fixed next day without any issues. Also, one lift was not working during the 3 nights we stayed and it caused queues to get to your level. The alternative lift was very old and we didn't feel comfortable taking it.

Above and beyond, exceeded expectations

Friendly welcome, booked for my daughters 21st and room was upgraded and extras put in the room to make it feel extra special no at extra cost. So kind and thoughtful certainly made the stay even better than expected

Hilton Cardiff Fabulous Stay

The location fabulous room was huge. Staff very helpful and secure parking. Loved this hotel with excellent facilities and pool to relax in before we checked out. Breakfast fabulous.

Evening menu was limited choice, so ate elsewhere on first night. Changing rooms in the health club are tired and in need of tlc.

Great for two nights; comfy bed and good pillows!

Great location, reception smelt lovely and the breakfast choices great: everything I had was fresh and delicious. Free cocktails at Graze for booking.com genius 2 perk!

Our room looked out into the atrium which is fine, but was an odd layout, with insufficient lighting. I’m sure rooms looking out over the castle are superior. Also, no drawers, just shelves, so it felt very much set up for overnight corporate guests.

Very pleasant centrally located hotel

Huge rooms, well appointed and immaculately presented. Friendly check in and restaurant staff were warm and welcoming. Very nice breakfast.

The city centre is rather noisy, and the huge TV in the room didn’t receive any channels, but neither of these issues affected my experience.
