Preis/Leistung super!

Struttura bellissima e suggestiva.
Hot tub e sauna a disposizione.
Monolocale molto carino e particolare.
Ristorante molto bello e caratteristico.

Erg kleine kamer, moet flinke onderhoudsbeurt krijgen (wastafel hangt scheef, douchekop is roestig, etc etc)

Its good for a night, great breakfast, we loved the house itself and the receptionist was really friendly and helpful.
The rooms are really small, 2 suitcases don't fit in the room, the walls are really thin. We heard our room neighbors having fun and snoring afterwards 😅

Plenty of parking and friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful. Room were warm we had to open windows.
The water smelt weird in the room but we were not drinking it so was OK. Everything was fine.

The hotels was lovely overall and had such a cool Viking theme throughout. There was a lift and 2 stairwell options. Which was ideal for getting to the sauna without walking through reception. Our room was ‘cosy’ which I hadn’t necessarily anticipated but for 3 days it was fine and we were out most of the time anyway. If we had a longer stay I may have asked for a slightly bigger room as our bed did touch 3 walls.. but it was still clean and comfy! The bathroom was a bit naff but everything worked, the shower had great pressure and the sulphur smell from the hot water soon fades and doesn’t stay in hair or clothes.
The breakfast was lovely too, no hot food like fried eggs, bacon or sausages but there was plenty of croissants, porridge, waffles, cold meats, yoghurt and tea and coffee and juice and more. The Viking theme was great in the dining area and you can sit on barrels!
The staff were all really friendly and we used the hot tub and sauna. The hot tub needed a good clean so that was a brief dip but the sauna was sooo nice and no extra charge (dressing gowns are a little extra). The Viking restaurant opposite was fab too, staff were lovely and the food was excellent! So convenient being literally yards away!
The location of the hotel is great too, Hafnarfjörður is a really nice village and a short bus trip to Reykjavik and about an hours bus ride to the Keflavík airport. Than bus stop is just a 2 min walk, if that. There is a Subway (sandwich shop) and a few restaurants too which was handy. I would stay here again but I would pay for a better and bigger room. Wonderful hotel overall!
The room was tiny (room 10) but not unpleasant for a 3 night stay. The bathroom was okay but didn’t enjoy the fact that the shower was so tiny that you had to touch the curtain 🤢. The shelf under the mirror needed screwing to the wall again as it was slanted so things slid off which wasn’t too useful. Manageable for 3 days but any longer and I think a bit more space would have been needed.

The decoration of the hotel and the whole Viking idea is exceptional.it won’t disappoint you!
The breakfast was perfect,it had everything you can ask for.
The location is very convenient, just a few kilometres away from Reykjavik.
Free parking, free sauna and hot tub.
The staff was really helpful, polite and friendly.
The room was super tiny,we had a double room with two beds and we could hardly fit with our bags and luggage.
The bathroom was even more tiny, with absolutely no space.the sink was extremely small and they provided us with only one towel per person.
No free shower gel and shampoo.
A great lack of sockets,we had to unplug the TV in order to charge one mobile phone in turns.

So many interesting things. Heated flooring in bathroom and space in the villa. Fabulous breakfast too
No milk for the drinks in the room

Quaint, quirky and very unique. Little chalets excellent for groups and the layout is ideal.More spacious than they look.
Not able to buy bottled water at reception or in hotel (that is literally the only thing I can think of and that’s being very picky as the staff supplied a jug of water for us)

Cute and cosy room. Very friendly reception staff. Nice hot tub.
Excellent dinner at the attached restaurant.
Very clean.
Sauna wasn’t warm enough. At breakfast I would have liked more fruit. Only 2 cups in the room for 5 of us. Very small room for 5 people.

Breakfast was excellent. Nice selection. Dinner was very good. Decor was an added plus along with the resident Viking singing songs. Lively and entertaining. Enjoyed everything. Very conveniently located.
There was nothing that we didn't like.

Nice hotel with comfortable beds.
Nice breakfast
7.0
Nice cottage in a good location if you have car.
They didn’t have toilet paper in the room.
Restaurant tables look fancy (Viking) but aren’t confortable.
Something that doesn’t happen in all locations is the sulfur smell with hot water
6.0
Love the mad concept of the hotel. Viking memorabilia everywhere, we took some brilliant pictures. I would like a bit more crazy Viking music and entertainment, dinner felt a bit ‘normal’.
Beds were comfy, breakfast and dinner were decent.
Handy location for Keflavik airport.
The hot tub was unclean. After having spent the last week visiting some of the wonderful public swimming pools around Iceland it was disappointing to finish our trip on this slightly sad pool. Flies floating around and the bubbles didn’t work.
Tea making facilities in the room were lacking.

Both the hotel building and nearby restaurant are works of art, just breathtaking. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking was available. Rooms are small but cozy.
We came at peak season and everything was at maximum capacity, so breakfast can run out if all guests fill the eating areas at the same time.
7.0
The atmosphere was very nice, the staff was very friendly and check-in/check-out was very easy too (we arrived pretty late). Breakfast was good as well.
The room was a bit small and the bathroom was not in good conditions...very Viking style haha
8.0
Breakfast was really good. Loved the decor. Rooms were comfy and had everything we needed.
We ate dinner in the restaurant next to the hotel: not good, overpriced. The hot tub/sauna area needs to work, does not look like the pictures.

Breakfast was excellent.

We loved the whole Viking motif. It was carried out very well throughout the hotel and the restaurant. We enjoyed walking along the harbor and the downtown area.
Our cottage had 5 single beds. Would have been better either on double bed.
5.0
Not much.
The cottage was tiny and cramped. Breakfast was ordinary. Restaurant service was poor. Hot tub was disappointing. Overall shabby. Did not live up to expectations.

Very cute and cozy cabins, great breakfast, good value

Fun theme and good food.
It was fine. The bathroom was odd.
7.0
This was a unique stay. It was in a nice location with a walking path along the water. The staff were nice. The room was small but sufficient, and we found the bed comfortable.
The bathroom was tiny, and the sulfur smell in the water was the strongest of our all stays in Iceland. The place felt very crowded/loud compared to other Iceland locations. For a night, it was okay, but with the size of the room, a longer stay wouldn't have been comfortable.
5.0
Kinda nice concept.
I cannot talk about the hotel rooms, this is about the little houses. The windows blackout wasn't that good, one of the windows didn't had curtains at tall, the breakfast wasn't that extensive, the location is a weird neighborhood, didn't felt unsafe, but not that pretty. The access to the little house is not that clean, dark... Nice to sleep I guess, but that's pretty much it. Don't expect too much.
