Very nice little spot. Great location.
Nice new restaurants in the area that you can walk to. Beautiful garden to look out during morning coffee. Loved the turkeys too. We will be back !!!

This is my second stay at this studio apartment! It’s perfect for a solo or couple visiting the island. The space is an immaculate 1 bedroom studio apartment with a seating area that includes a letout couch for extra sleeping, table and chairs for dining, a complete kitchen and a bath!
The hosts Deborah and Ken are the absolute best! I will definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Captain's House Studio. The home had everything we needed - appreciated use of the beach towels. It was so pleasant sitting on the deck after biking all day. Deb's gardens are beautiful. Deb was an excellent host - highly recommend this home!

We were greeted warmly by Debbie. The place was clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay in the Vineyard. Appreciated the books on Martha’s Vineyard, the turkeys in the back and having coffee in the mornings on the front porch. Rent this place. You won’t regret.

My partner and I had an amazing stay with our cat. The studio had everything we needed and the location was unbeatable. While we had extreme difficulty with Vrbo as a provider, Deb and her partner Ken made up for all of it! We look forward to staying in the future. Thank you

This studio apt. is immaculate and comfortable and has such a friendly feel to it. It is also in such a convenient location to access all parts of the Island. The studio has everything you might need for your stay. It has a spa like cozy feel to it. It also has AC which was refreshing for some hot days.
The host, Deborah is delightful to talk with and was so helpful in answering any questions.
I stayed with my little 5 lb dog and we enjoyed going for walks and to different parts of the Island to explore and enjoy the ocean.
I had a wonderful 3 day stay there. I feel fortunate to have stayed at Deborah's studio.

Nice unit. Reasonable rate. Excellent hostess. Problem is the unit is only 30 feet from State Road, which is a major thruway to the upper island.
Needed to leave the A/C on to muffle the road noise.

We visited for a wedding and had a great stay! Deborah is a great host. Would stay here again. Convenient location and very close to Main St. and the ferry.

Very pretty quaint spot with all the amenities you need for two people. Walk into Vineyard Haven Main Street area and ferry to woods hole. Garden was beautiful . Loved the daily wild turkey visits.

My husband and I, along with our dog, vacation on the island every summer. This was our 4th year staying at this property. You couldn't ask for a better location and the studio rental has all the amenities that you would need. Deborah and her partner are super welcoming and will provide as little or as much assistance you request. She maintains a beautiful property and keeps her rates affordable and pet friendly. This is the only place we even look to stay when planning our trips. I would and do recommend her to anyone that asks about visiting the island!

The place was bigger than a studio, it was clean and cozy. I loved drinking my morning coffee on the cute front porch! I’d stay there again!

We loved this place. Small but efficient. Perfect for two people. Full kitchen and fridge and great shower head! I also loved the local art I. The walls all over. The outside space was lovely and the wild turkeys kept us company every morning when we had our coffee outside. The studio was close to the little shopping area and the ferry terminal. Our hosts were great. We had everything we needed. It’s a great spot and we highly recommend it.

This property is ideal for 2 people max. It was super clean and check in was a breeze. The owners next door are really nice too. Beautifully landscaped with turkeys walking around which was kinda cool. Comfortable beds and soft sheets. GREAT location and within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. They have outdoor plugs if you decide to rent electric bikes. Fantastic front porch with rocking chairs and a bench swing with pillows! Plenty of towels, washcloths and spare toiletries. I prefer to stay in Vineyard Haven because its quieter than Oak Bluffs. This place was perfect for me and my best friend. We will be back!

Deborah and Ken were so helpful and kind. They helped us answering all our questions. The location of this studio apartment is perfect, close to dining and shopping spots. Traffic starts early in the morning and the windows have plenty of light coming through in the morning which can be inconvenient if you like to sleep in late. The place has an AC window unit which is a plus since most places here apparently don’t have AC. This place is perfect for couples.

Deborah is a great host and the apartment had absolutely everything needed for our dog and us to have a wonderful 4th of July stay. The kitchen is ably stocked with everything, the cozy living area was great to read a book and there was plenty of space to unpack. Parking was off street and we enjoyed having a cup of coffee overlooking the backyard and hollow. And the AC was unexpected and welcome surprise!

Loved everything! Can’t think of anything we lacked. Very comfortable in this little studio just a 2 minute walk to great coffee, restaurants, shops, etc. Only wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Wonderful host and beautiful home. We walked to town, beaches and the ferry. The turkeys came to visit in the back yard too!

This is the fourth year my daughter and I have stayed here. It’s become a tradition every summer. The apartment is clean, adorable and in an excellent location close to downtown Vineyard Haven and the ferry. Our hosts are amazing. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else ❤️

Great location, convenient to restaurants, the public bus, and shopping. Very spacious room. It would be nice to have a bigger bed, as a double is slightly tight for a tall guy. I actually used the pull-out bed which worked out well. Definitely would stay here again, the host was quick to respond to any questions before we arrived and immediately provided some extra toiletries we needed during our stay.

The place couldn’t have been more comfortable with the room layout, amenities offered, air conditioning, kitchenware and great location. Our host Deborah was quite helpful and gracious. We spent most evenings on the small deck off our apartment or the larger common space below enjoying the cool breeze, the active turkeys, birds and squirrels and the slowed down pace of being on the island. I highly recommend this gem to everyone!

A beautifully restored Victorian, a five minute walk to downtown Tisbury, and a 7 minutes walk from the ferry. The apartment on the first floor was intimate, but immaculate and cozy. Highly recommend, just read the other 5 star reviews.....would return again and again!!

Deborah and Ken were gracious hosts. They have an immaculate studio apartment attached to their home. The town turkeys greeted us upon arrival. The house is walking distance to Main street Tisbury. If you're looking for a quiet spot in the Vineyard then this place will fit your bill.

This property was great! Even though it’s a studio, it has everything you would ever need, and it was immaculate! It was fun to sit on the deck, watch the birds at the feeder, and hear the ferry horn in the distance! It was just a wonderful stay.

Deb, the owner, has kept her rental splendidly. Was greeted by the neighborhood turkeys. Loved that. This is my second visit to this property and will come back again

The rental was great! Pretty small, but we knew that beforehand. It was in a really good location. The house itself is really cute, and it has a really nice back porch area.

I brought my little dog for a get away from my busy lifestyle! Deborah was such a wonderful host, pleasant, friendly and very respectful of my private time! I was greeted with fresh flowers from her garden, New England coffee, maps and info on MV island, music playing from the TV and a lovely outdoor setting with fresh comfy pillows on the chairs! I stayed 8 nights with my 11 lb. Shih Tzu Marley who loved the property and the huge field around the corner from the home. The apartment had everything you could want from a full bath with all the linens and extras, full kitchen, living area with a table and chairs and a full bed with tons of closet space, as well as a huge closet and a private back deck with table and chairs! It was extremely clean and comfy! I did not sit on the beautiful large porch as it was on a road way and I found the back to be much more inviting! We watched tons of birds at the feeders, Wild turkeys greeting us each day and beautiful scenes of the trees, sun, moon and flowers. Deborah even provided me with a blender for my shakes and walked my dog the day I went to Nantucket!! She is a gem and I would return!
