It was okay for somewhere to sleep and leave our stuff which was what we needed.

Good location, price was fair. Easy to get public transport.

Not clean. Skirting board around the room was covered in dust. Welcome book was sticky and had coffee mug marks on. Shower is mouldy. Silver fish in the bottom of the shower. Bin in bathroom not cleaned. Under the bed not hoovered. No photos of our room on the website, so our expectations were very high, and our room was smaller than shown.

Reserve unas semanas antes y el día que llegue hizecel cheking rápido y me fui a pasear .Al llegar a la noche fue cuando al entrar a la habitación me di cuenta de el holorca suciedad y cañerías.Al entrar al baño me fijé que la ducha estaba llena de pelos,la escobilla del baño llena de excrementos ,de hacía tiempo,junto a una tela de araña.En la ducha habia un moco pegado humedades.Como extra la moqueta vieja y sucia ,colchón viejo y blando .Pase una noche horrible puesto que en recepción no había nadie y a la mañana siguiente la mujer decrecepcion me asumio que no habian limpiado.En ese momento me ofreció otra habitación ,la cual me mostró y tenía que limpiar tambien ,así que en ese momento y disgustado lo unico que queria era salir de allí.Sin duda pésimo y el lugar decrépito,les aseguro que hay mejores lugares por el mismo precio.Horrible experiencia y trato .Ahh se niegan a reembolsarle aunque asuman que no limpiaron excusando que me ofrecieron otra habitación.Pesimo!

No-frills accommodation in a convenient location

Convenient location close to both the beach and Hove station. Great for an overnight stopover.

The building isn’t well soundproofed, so we had a fair amount of noise from other guests in their rooms or coming and going from the house. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and the shower in the en suite was extremely small and didn’t drain properly. We were only there for one night so it was manageable, but we’d hesitate to book again for a longer trip.

When you book on bookings.com, do you get the worst rooms?

The shower was so small you could hardly shower, you had to squeeze past the toilet to get in. Tiny space no room to dry yourself. The bed was sleeping on springs very uncomfortable, no hair dryer. Never sighted any staff. Very Old.

Very good overall

Good location for public transport with easy access into the property

In the night people kept knocking on and attempting to open the doors or just generally being loud which is to no fault of the property owners

Good location and spacious, clean room.

Bedroom was nicely decorated and spacious. Owner communicated well about check in times.

The building and rooms are a little dated and I wouldn’t pay that price to stay again but we did book last minute.

Perfect location, quiet and comfortable room. Would stay again.

Good location near the beach and close to lots of interesting coffee shops and bakeries.

Shower took a while to get to the right temperature but this was only a minor thing.

staff were fun and lovely and so accommodating the room was large and the the walk-in shower room too thank you so much

the room just needed to be aired out for a bit and the bathroom sea air built up a little so I had to leave the light on so the fan extractor helped air the room out

We could leave our bikes in a room downstairs; very nice possibility. Quick respons on booking-communication. There was no breakfast, but very nearby a great place to order and eat it (Gails)

The noise from other rooms (wooden floors and ventilators). The bed was not very big (too short for us) The shower was low and had a bad douche head. There is no parkingplace, but if you know someone there you could arrange a visitors-permit for only £5 per day. Other places to park free are northeast of the city. Good to have this in mind.

clean, tidy, presentable. great hove location and so easy to get to brighton! free wifi, friendly owner. good automatic code to get into the building out of hours. :)

the constant flickering bathroom light was an epileptics nightmare.

A good place to rest your head.

The staff were lovely and the location was brilliant. it did the job as we needed a place to stay for the night whilst there for work.

It was very dated, which isn’t a problem at all, but it needed a good clean from top to bottom. The window handle came off in my hand when I was opening up to let some fresh air in and there was dust everywhere. if it had had a good scrub beforehand it would have transformed the place.

It wasn't what I expected from the advert clearly neads work doing

The fact that there was no parking near by so had to use public parking at additional costs bathroom room small with mould on the walls paint on the floor toilet seat wouldn't stay up light flickering fire escape unsafe window had no safety catch trip hazard at front door no one around to hand keys to when we left

Will be my go to guest house when visiting friends & family in the area!

Good location in Hove. Comfortable bed. Great nights sleep! No breakfast offered but Gail’s Bakery is 2 mins away or alternatives so not a problem

I stayed in Brunswick Room and the bed was terrible. Collapsed mattress.

overall it was fine for what we wanted, basic but clean, a little overpriced for just a room, I think £70 would be a mor

it was ideally situated and clean

bathroom was very small and you could hear people in other rooms.
