Booked a room with a balcony and seaview. Room was lovely. Parking was very easy.
We decided to go for breakfast, having not booked breakfast, but we found the plates were mostly bare so we did not proceed. Good food management, but it was a disappointment.

Location, location, location! Nice bar as well as pool area.
It was a very busy weekend and staff seemed overwhelmed. However, the young ladies at the reception desk were friendly and efficient.

Noisy Monday morning street things, not hotel responsibility

This was our last night after a trip through Portugal and Spain on our way back to Santander.
Wonderful view from our room overlooking a very pretty bay. The hotel has an imposing facade with a huge outdoor pool to one side. Our experience from the booking in, to eating and drinking was faultless.
Nothing to see here!!

Great food in the restaurant.

A very characterful hotel with fabulous location right on the beach promenade. We had a 4th floor room with balcony and sea view – absolutely wonderful to watch the ocean, surfers, fishermen, canoeists and boats and to hear the waves at night time. Plenty of parking but we opted to pay the extra for the private parking in the basement – an added bonus. A full and varied buffet breakfast and we also ate in the restaurant both nights – tasty fish dishes and great sunsets. Unfortunately too cold to use the swimming pool but it looked lovely. All staff very friendly, courteous and helpful despite some translation issues. Would recommend to friends and family.

The most beautiful hotel room ever! Unbelievable views of the beach and mountains from the wraparound balcony. Everything was clean and new and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wish we stayed longer!

Excellent location overlooking a lovely quiet beach, very friendly helpful staff
Main course was cold when it was served, hardly surprising when the plates are not warmed first

Fantastic room with a view of the sea and beach. Comfortable beds and clean decent sized room. Terrace seating overlooking beach was very relaxing.
There was only one lift in the building and on one occasion was out of order so a 4 floor hike back to room

The room was overlooking the beach and was very comfortable
Nothing!

The location was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The view from my terrace to the mountains was incredible.
Nothing. The only one small I noticed when I was checking I had everything when packing was a large collection of dust under the bed which looked to have been there for a while.
Otherwise the room was clean.

the position is perfect, also good parking and helpful staff. the rooms in the old house are lovely, huge high ceilings and some nice period features.
Terrible transfer of noise through the ceiling from the room above. I was repeatedly woken by someone walking about: it sounded like they were wearing lead boots. As it was late, I asked the hotel for the room number and told the occupants that they needed to go to bed so we could sleep. The breakfast was ok, but no yoghurt, the bread rolls and croissants were more supermarket than bakery and the coffee (Nescafé branded machines; 1 of which appeared to use coffee beans) was the worst of our 3 weeks in Spain. Not a 4-star experience.

Think the breakfast was a bit pricey at 20 euro however there is the option to just pay for tea and toast .
