Very easy to pick up keys. Apartment was just what we needed. Good position, warm, generally good facilities.
Beatriz was very helpful.
Found out on arrival that the complex was closing that day for the season so there were no facilities that we could use, bar, restaurants, spa etc, I guess being end of season it was a risk.
Apartment could do with more equipment to cater for groups of 4+. Difficult to cook with small pans.

The complex of apartments has been designed with a very attractive mountain-style architecture and has a great atmosphere. We particularly liked the fact that the representative for the property kept excellent communication in advance of our arrival and was there in person to meet us. This is so important for guests who are not familiar with the resort. We liked the reliable, frequent shuttle bus to the nearby ski lift and the apartment complex's association with the Eurostars Hotel next door which allowed for easy access to its spa and restaurants. We really appreciated the extra free outdoor parking in addition to the one spot in the garage, since there were two cars in our group. The apartment was quiet, spacious, and comfortable. We liked the two bunk beds (4 beds) in the third bedroom that allowed our teenage girls to spread out. We liked that the apartment had a full refridgerator, both a dishwasher and a clothes washer as well as both oven and microwave, which was helpful for our group of six. We liked the large dining table and the sideboard with space for wine glasses and "other" items.
The apartment was attractive and comfortable overall, but the sofas and cushions looked a bit "tired" and in need of updating. The kitchen could use a few basics like salt, pepper, sugar, perhaps a container of cooking oil, and a couple of small paring knives in addition to the two large knives. The second bedroom could use bedside lamps for both sides of the bed for reading.

great location close to hotel , 3 minute shuttle service to the ski lift .
a bit draughty around some of the windows .

Big, comfortable, fully equipped apartment. Two bathrooms! And cool, despite the July heat wave this year! Enthusiastic, friendly and helpful host (thank you!). Val d'Aran is splendid, fantastic nature, great hikes among dozens of mountain lakes.. and authentic mountain villages. And don't miss Val de Boi (one hour drive away).
There may be a problem with the sound isolation, We were alone in the building for a week, so it was very quiet, but when another couple moved in for the last night, we heard their every move... There is not much dedicated storage space in the apartment for you boots, backpacks, etc, but the place is big and has a small terrace, so it's a minor issue.

The flat was very nice and sufficiently spacious. Also, whenever help was needed it was promptly available. The staff was very efficient and friendly.
The cleaning could improve: a lot of dust and the towels were not really perfumed. There is no place near to buy anything (groceries, etc.). You need a car to shop.

great apartment and very comfortable
could have done with more bigger pans for cooking for up to 10 people. otherwise kitchen was well equipped. bath towels all had a really nasty smell, and even when they were changed during the week they smelt so musty we used the hand towels to dry instead

amazing traditional but new properties, warm, cosy and our 3 bedrooms could easily accommodate 8 people. very upmarket feel and only 10 minute walk to lift or there’s a shuttle that leaves every 10 minutes. The Hotel Rafael (1 minutes walk) has 3 restaurants all serving 5 star quality food and with fantastic service too.
literally nothing

We sent a list of 14 complaints to booking.com at the end of the week! Safety issues (broken glass in 2 areas, hair dryer catching on fire). Not even a bar of soap when toiletries were meant to be provided. False advertising(the apartment and resort were not at all as described). The ‘view of the luxury resort’ is in fact a road, parked cars, and a bus every ten minutes that kept its engine running and delivery lorries! The ‘balcony’ was a tiny, dirty area by the resort road! The ‘ski to door’ is a lie and you need to take a bus then a ski lift to get to where you can ski, 30mins average each way! Shower blocked. Almost no hot water. Noisy heating and water pipes. Double room was a twin. We asked to change apartment at the resort but we’re told it was not possible.

The place itself was great! Had most everything we needed from a utensil stand point though it would have been nice if they'd had a couple more basics like Olive Oil, Salt, Pepper (because those things are pretty annoying to buy for just a 6-7 day stay) but otherwise we had what we needed. Having the deck was also a plus for our pup. It was clean and spacious and check in was very easy. We had been to the valley before but had not stayed in Baquiera so they were helpful in pointing us to good restaurants or other points of interest we hadn't seen before. It was VERY quiet in general which was comforting - you could hear the cowbells in the morning while enjoying your coffee!
There were a few callouts on the place, but mostly the location. The wifi was pretty weak - we had planned to work there during the week so had made sure to get a place with wifi but it was so weak, we had to set up mobile hotspots which sorta defeated the purpose of a place with wifi. For first time visitors to the region: As mentioned before - it was our first time visiting Baquiera so we didn't realize the town almost shuts down during the summer despite there being a lot of homes/hotels. Many/most of the hotels, the only grocery store, some cafes/restaurants in Baquiera close for the summer months (I don't even think this is a COVID thing...). And then even if there had been lots of things open, the place itself really isn't walking distance to anything; as I hadn't been there before, I (stupidly) didn't realize that the windy part on google maps where this place is located is up a massive hill with no walkways/paths to town other than the main (very curvy, somewhat dangerous) road. So we had to take a car everywhere. Towns like Arties or Salardu are significantly more lively if that's a vibe you're looking for and we ended up in those places for lunch/dinner when we didnt want to cook (~10-15 min drive). Lastly, as big hikers, we had hoped there would be at least a few hikes we could do leaving directly from the house like when you're in Vielha or Salardu. But alas, there were very limited options - you generally have to drive at least 10 min to all the trailheads. Even the giant grassy area behind the complex didn't have any sort of official trail - just livestock/game trails - so I couldnt really even take the dog out on it. Would I stay here again? For the place itself, yes probably, now that my expectations of Baqueira have been reset.
