Normally I am not such a fan of hotels due to the fact that most of them feels a bit unpersonal. How different it was with Hotell Toppen. Really great. The most friendly staff. I arrived late but told them that I'm doing a big motorcycle trip and that I'm hungry. The lady told me that the chef just left to home, but she called him, he came back and made me a delicious meal!
Location and room wonderful. This is how every hotel should be. They understand the business. An example for the hotel business.

Nice small hotel in middle of nowhere, with clean rooms, free parking, friendly staff, above average restaurants and a very good sauna.

Friendly personnel, very good breakfast buffet, good and flexible restaurant
I was surprised that there was no hair dryer in the room - although I have to admit that a hair dryer was not in the equipment list. May be you get one at the reception (luckily I had my own with me). There was no desk. The bathroom/shower needs renovation.

Good location but thats it...
Hotel old and worn. Our room was not very clean ... lots of dust and even a dirty glass with some liquid on the nightstand... exceptionally bad in covid times ...
Breakfast was ok but some items finished when there was still half an hour left.
All in all a poor experience...

We had a pleasant stay. The personal was very nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet provides anything for a good start in the day.

Was really nice with Tesla charger. Extra bed/sofa was not that cozy as usual bed.

The wellness area was opened just for us. Very friendly staff.
the breakfast was very simple. But that may be due to the fact that we were the only guests

It was a real hip trip back to 70ies. Everything was stylish and seemed original. We had a very quiet room and folks were really accommodating.

The service was excelent. We had private sauna which was fantastic, on the 3 floor with great view.

A cosy elegant hotel in 1980s vintage style. Spacious rooms, good bar with local beers. Good breakfast. Easily reachable from highway. Even the single room has a sofa to relax watching TV.
Evrything was perfect.

Everything was great. The hotel has this mid-century cosy feeling about it, like you are in some old movie. The room was one of the best I've lived in recently - all is extra comfortable and wonderfully organized. Was a bit cold at the beginning, but the heater works OK.
