The Rorbuer is ideally located.
The staff was very nice & eager to help.
The living room was cosy and authentic.
Nothing everything was perfect

Staff molto cordiale.

Nice location, easy instructions for check-in and check-out. Inside we found everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable.
WC was used and left uncleaned.

The Rorbuer is stunning. The studio we were given was very spacious, with a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and a separate bedroom. There were tea and coffee for us and the kitchen was fully equipped to prepare any meal.
The village (Å) is completely deserted. The only restaurant, belonging to this rorbuer, is closed through the winter season. So is the reception, therefore the keys were left in a postbox for us. There is no market or bar to buy any sort of food or beverages, nor public transport to leave Å, so come prepared!

Super beautiful and very nice place to stay
It was a little bit cold inside. You need to add some warmer. The floor was very cold as well 🥶

just paradise! great modern and cozy hytte with well equipped kitchen, fast wi-fi, very warm and silent. DOG FRIENDLY 🐶💕
I had a little problem to open the outdoor garbage container before leaving as it was frozen, but it’s the only micro issue if I really have to say something.. otherwise it’s just perfect and I will come back with pleasure!

location was good at the end of E10 but room was very basic and not too well maintained.

A Rorbuer is a set of former fisherman huts transformed into hotel cottages at the very tip of the Lofoten Island. A Rorbuer is ideally located and the cottages are clean and functionnal. However, the price is a bit high if less than for people are staying on a Rorbuer. Also, given the space, there could be a few additional ammenities such as a TV.

Really nice little cabin and well equipped with necessities
A little hard to find and no TV

The cabin was very nice and clean, people very friendly, the restaurant good. All in all it is a great place.
Only point for improvement we could name is some more possibilities to store things (e.g. clothes) like shelves and some hooks, e.g. in the bathroom.

Cosy accommodation with a tastefully furnished and spacious living room! Practical kitchen and clean bathroom.
Just two small details: Some saucepans did not work on the induction stove. We would have appreciated small nightstands next to the beds.

In the facilities it showed me that my hut had a private terrace. So my expectations were hightened. But I was a bit disappointed to find that my hut was not sea facing and had to terrace and no view. In fact the hut was besides a public toilet.
I would not have been disappointed if these facilities were not mentioned before the booking.

Nothing
The bungalow was dirty and run down only the bath room was okay. We cleaned the room before using it for 2 nights.. Staff was unfriendly and said for booking.com people, people, not booking.com guests our room without a viel was okay. The restaurant was bad and also overpriced. E.g. Hamburger for33 euros

If you’re visiting Lofoten, there’s no other place to stay but Å Rorbuer! The cabins were built in the early 1900s and originally used by the fishermen as a shelter and accomodation. Then they’ve been renovated to meet the standards of the XXI century. Thanks to that you can feel the true history and the spirit of the fishermen village in a luxurious and modern cabin. Absolutely everything in Å Rorbuer deserves to be praised: perfect location, cosy cabins with amazing view at the mountains and the Norwegian Sea, very well equipped kitchen, the roller-blinds in the bedroom to ensure you sleep well despite the midnight sun… and finally: Å Rorbuer cabins are dog-friendly! Thank you for having us!

The rorbuer was very clean, warm and welcoming. The kitchen had everything you need. Good position.
The bed was uncomfortable, too soft.

... disappointed. Despite of the fact that patio was offered, no patio was available for this room. The receptionist was informed, no offer/discount provided. And the owner was not available.
And much more - the room was about 3 meters from the public toiled...
No more to book this accommodation!

Great service and quality of equipment and view + terrasse
our neighbour was very noisy as he was doing some carpenter works on his home during week ends

The end of Lofoten was a must see and, therefore, the general location of the apartment was good. The apartment was one of the many former fishermen's huts in Lofoten, in good condition with a living room, bedroom, small kitchen and a totally renovated modern bathroom. OK in general, although expensive, but so is all accommodation in the area.
The location of the apartment turned out to be probably the worst of all the Rorbuer apartments. Ours was located right next to the parking area, closest to the reception. People were constantly walking on the street very close to our apartment windows on one side. The entrance to the apartment was on the other side, at the back of the building, in a small court yard through which people would go to an open museum room and the public toilets, right in front of our windows also on that side. Somebody even opened our door and was coming to our apartment. There were no proper curtains to blind the view in or out, except in the bedroom. We were traveling with a dog that was very anxious about all that traffic. In addition, it was probably the only hut that had an apartment above us with practically no soundproofing. We could hear practically all that was spoken up there and the noise of mere walking which, again, made our dog very anxious. A hut may be a nice and traditional way of staying in the Lofoten but I would definitely not recommend that particular apartment, especially if you are traveling with a pet.
