Food was great. Close to ski lift area. Nice to have ski rental place in hotel. Hot Hot Showers. Beautiful view from the balcony.
Just an old hotel that is still original from the 1970’s. Nothing has been updated. There is still a weird smell in the rooms and hallways. No room cleaning and bed making daily. Rooms were too warm and so we left the window open every night to sleep.

Közel van a sípályához!
A szobában a fűtés jobb lehetett volna!

Lokalizacja
Brak WiFi, hotel zatrzymał się czasem w PRL, tragiczne warunki. Winda masakra. Lata 80’. Powinni zamknąć ten hotel i przeprowadzić gruntowny remont. Dramat.

View from my room, cleanliness, price.
I had to store my snowboard in my room for some unknown reason, also there was no wifi on the fifth floor (the only places where I could use it were the street level and the first floor). There was no fridge either so I kept some of my food on the terrace.

This hotel is THE only reasonable option near ski lifts in Chopok, others are either ridiculously expensive or far away from lifts. Perfect for ski lovers who go back to room only for a beer and sound sleep skiing down directly to the hotel door and not having to spend an hour riding to the lift in the morning. Great food in form of buffer two times a day so You wont have to waste time cooking or going to restaurant. Just perfect. In old czecho-slovakian style. Even has a ski-equipment storage locked by a key!
Some minor details, but irrelevant for those who come here for skiing. For families with children or people who do not ski/trek - better go somewhere else or You will end up complaining .

location was good, good access to to the skiing resort, ok value to price,
An old hotel from the communist era: no internet in the room, food was not great, needs renovation, no contemporary elevator

Service at bar. Ivana and Martin are great 😉

The hotel reminds me of old times Czechoslovakia, which I love ;).
There was no Knedlički for dinner during my stay ;)

Except for the very good and quiet location, nothing to mention.
Food quality at the canteen, no wifi except for small area around the bar and restaurant. Run down bathrooms and lavatories.
Very badly kept space in front of the chotel. For example, when it rains, the thaw is very slippery, hard to get in and out of the hotel.
No regulators on the radiators, the need for constant airing to maintain a tolerable temperature (very un-ecological)

Location and cost where what I was looking for. Due to low cost had low expectations. Ski hire was really good value. Loved the retro decor. Didn't use the shoe-horn in the room but knew it was there if needed. Skiing was great. Will be back to resort. Might spend a little more on hotel though.
Food not great (my son like it). Poor beds and bedding (but still slept well-ish). Was too hot in rooms most of the time. Dangerous ice conditions in car park and hotel grounds. Shower head not attached to wall. Sheet didn't fit mattress. No kettle in room.

Good value for money, exactly what you can expect. Good service and good food

Authentic Soviet style. Really makes you feel like your staying in a backwards communist country
Checked in to a dirty room and they refused to clean it, only gave me a new room after i demanded a refund. Most staff are miserable and unfriendly. Hotel is old and in need of repair. Food is low quality.
