Unacceptable apartments U

we stayed in apartments 4 and 34.apartment number 34 smelt of rotten fish.when i reported it to the manageress she said they knew about it but couldnt find the problem! A pair of jeans and socks were found under one of the beds Further they advised the cleaning crews did not show up for work the apartments were not cleaned.when we checked in.our family holiday was ruined with 5 days of fish smells!i would like a substsntial refund please.

Comfortable and Convenient

The location is handy to the river, the beach and Sunshine Plaza and the views overlooking the river are wonderful. It is a very pleasant experience to be sitting on the balcony overlooking the river with expansive views to the sea watching the sun set or the changing colours of the river with the sand and tides.

How close it was to everything and easy to get places. The manager was lovely. The apartment was spacious and easy to get around.

The apartment was facing onto the road and could hear the road noise at a minimal in the bedroom. The bed needs updating but still comfortable

Excellent accommodation if you want a fishing venue. Pity the fish had gone on holidays.

This was our third visit. Large, well equipped unit. Easy access to private pontoon for fishing.

Lounge and dining chairs in the unit were very uncomfortable.

It was simply perfect and relaxing.

The Apartment was very spacious for a family of 5 with teenagers and well set out. Great location and very clean. We used the jetty everyday.

Good location close to a great range of cafes and restaurants. Secure parking. Friendly staff. Great shower pressure.

Apartment 12 facing the main road so very noisy at night. Had to keep the windows closed to try and reduce noise. I wrongly assumed that all balconies overlooked the water but was disappointed that was not the case.No aircon in bedrooms which would be a big problem in summer. One bed was incredibly hard, the other was ridiculously soft so poor sleep. Some bedside lamps would have been useful. Previous guests dirty laundry was left in apartment although was quickly removed once reported. Absolute bare minimum 'starter' supplies. 2 coffee sachets, 3 tea bags - pretty measly for a 2 bed apartment. Had to ask for milk as it had been forgotten but was quickly supplied. The apartment served its purpose but overpriced.

Brilliance On The River

Propery managers Coral and Peter were absolutely wonderful and went over and above to make sure our stay was perfect. Communication and friendliness was there from the initial booking contact right through until check out. The apartment is very well appointed, beds are comfy and the view is incredible. I could not have wished for anything more.

A good break, and we even caught a number of fish, which was what we had hoped for.

Location is excellent. Private pontoon is ideal for fishing. Very clean and spacious.

Lounges and chairs difficult for oldies with knee problems. Lots of "stuff" in cupboards - could be culled and better organised.
