wonderful relaxing time away

1st visit to Malta, if we are to return we would without a doubt stay at Harbour Lights again. Ruth & Allessandro`s instructions on locating and entering the property were simple and worked flawlessly. Ruth & Allessandro did kindly offer to meet up and give us the heads up on the island the day after we arrived, which we thought was really nice, but politely declined as we had already planned a day out, that being said they were only a text message or phone call away should we require any assistance. The accommodation itself was just as advertised and very comfortable, everything needed for our stay was there, washing machine, kitchen utensils, plenty of hangers in wardrobes, large fridge freezer ....it was basically home from home. A very well stocked supermarket was a ten minute leisurely walk just at the end of the bay and and the host even supplies a shopping trolley to save lugging heavy bags back. We hired a car for our 10 day trip and visited every corner of the island but it was always nice to return to Harbour Lights, (plenty of free parking) sit on the balcony (we were on the 4th floor) and look over St Pauls Bay, watching the fishermen attending to there boats. Should you require a faster pace Buggiba is only up the road. Although you are right by the main road in no way did we feel it was noisy even with a bus stop literally outside the front door. All being said if you choose Harbour Lights for your stay in Malta you will not be disappointed. thank you Ruth & Allessandro

Lovely apartment with an excellent view

The location is good for exploring the Island. The apartment was spotless and the view from the balcony is excellent. The check in and out was very easy. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Really enjoyed the apartment but we found it to be a bus journey everywhere due to the location.

Tolles Appartement in guter Lage

Das Appartement war für mich perfekt. Lage und Ausstattung sind super. Der Blick vom Balkon ist toll, direkt auf den Hafen. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor der Haustür. Ebenso eine Bar, in der man etwas trinken und auch essen kann. Das Appartement ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchen könnte und es gibt sogar Ausflugstipps. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar.

Es gibt nichts negatives zu berichten.

Très bon séjour à Malte

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille dans un appartement agréable avec une belle vue sur la baie, le bus passe juste en bas de l'appartement et il est aisé de se déplacer avec. Très bonne communication avec les gérants de l'appartement qui sont très réactifs.

Wer stressfreien Urlaub möchte, ist hier bestens aufgehoben!

Die Unterkunft war für uns perfekt. Alles sauber. Hervorzuheben ist die Waschmaschine. Wirklich hilfreich um mal schnell die Strandhandtücher zu waschen.Der Anbieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Super Service. Wir buchten für die Ankunft und Abreise gleich ein Taxi über den Anbieter mit. Auch hier alles reibungslos. Für Ausflüge haben wir den Bus genutzt. Haltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Vielen Dank für alles… !!! Grüße Thomas

The view from the balcony was great. The bed was comfortable. The apartment was large except for the bathroom, but it was okay.

Every time someone went in or out, we thought they were knocking on our door as the vibration was bad when doors opened/closed. Not good sound proofing. The building is very old but that is to be expected.

Good

We've booked this last moment and host were flexible and polite. The place is good for a budget stay in Malta and we practically had all necessary. The bus stop is real advantage.

When rating in booking is 9.1 this sets high expectations. The kitchen equipment was quite old and used, there was no hood in the kitchen, the bathroom walls could be cleaner.

Great place to stay if you like it quiet, bus stop nearby for exploring.

Amazing view, nice quiet location even though on a main road, the bus stop was right outside the apartment, very handy for getting around Malta.

Nothing, the bed was a bit firm for me, but that is just my opinion.

Wonderful location with 5 star hosts

Our stay was fab...St Pauls Bay is a great location. The apartment has superb views, has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We used buses daily to visit locations all over Malta & as the stops are literally outside the door it couldn't be easier. We used the Movit app for bus info. The hosts offer first class customer service & communication right from the initial booking, organised our airport transfers, help & advice was always readily available. There are restaurants & bars within easy walking distance, including a wonderful Italian, & a mini supermarket across the bay.

For family with kids-location , apartment and the hosts are super cool!

For our big family the place and location was perfect. Bus stop in front of house, small beach across the bay ( easy to walk ). I definitely recommend to families and i probably would come back my self. The owner is always reachable if needed

Its not that we didn't like but some ideas for the future: some covering mattress for the master bed( if u are used to softy-it takes time :-) ). And as in Malta sand is a must in your rooms with kids then vacuum cleaner would make cleaning easier-but those are picked things-overall this apartment has everything and is super!

A very pleasant stay with a very good (Preisleistungs - Verhältnis !) value !

We liked the great view from the balcony and the thousand harbor lights at night. We didn't need car, cause there were bus stops a few yards from the front door, so we could explore Malta by public transport easily. Barracuda Bar, just a very short distance from our apartment we liked best: good food, nice prices, swimming in the clear bay water included - a place where you could hang around and relax and cool down !!! Last but not least our hosts Ruth and Neville were very helpful, when we had little problems and had always given good advices.

It would be very helpful, if the mini supermarket or a bakery would be closer than it really was.( By Bus just 2 stations, walking distance about half a mile !?)

The apartment is spacious and very well located with a swimming area across the road and a bus stop right outside the door. Ruth was very helpful and gave us good tips and travel information. Harbour Lights is an ideal base for a holiday in Malta.

The location was so nice The apartment was so clean and the kitchen/living area was such a great size Ruth and Neville were so helpful they were always at the end of the phone to help with bus routes They left a lovely leaflet helping to plan a week of sites seeing which was so helpful They left a lovely bottle of wine for us but the bottles of water was a big bonus for us when we arrived There is a fab restaurant across the road if you arrive late but the Chinese just down the road is fab for sit down or takeaway The bus stop was right outside the apartment which made it so easy to get around the island The view of the harbour was so nice There is every channel on the tv great for morning tv There is nothing I could fault with this apartment and we would return Regards Sinead Breda and Mary

Nice apartment with a cool view over the bay.

Very good communication with the owners, the view is nice although it is above the coastal road, but there is not to much traffic. The bus stop with a few routes is right beside the door. In the apartment there is everything you need. It is quite good for trips in the beautiful north of Malta which was our aim. Valetta is an one hour ride by bus.

Perfect location - amazing view of bay and very central place while still feeling quiet.

Perfect location - amazing view of bay and very central place while still being quiet. Shops and restaurants not far, many sightseeing locations only 15/20 mins away, including Gozo ferry and Mdina etc.

Bathroom is off the living room which might have felt strange if we'd been staying with friends as originally planned but soon got used to it.

Great views, great price

+ right above a bus stop that serves many routes = easy to travel + great view over St. Paul’s bay + air con + host is very communicative

- too many mosquitoes came in through the door that had no mosquito net and a warning would be good - double bed mattress too soft

Great accommodation in Malta

Great view from the main room. Great communication with owners. Owners can assist you with any problems. There's a an elevator that takes you on the higher floors. It's easy to find parking space on the street next to the apartment. It's quite close to the best beaches on Malta (Riviera Beach 7 min by car).

The smallest room has metal windows. There are not too many open restaurants nearby (at least in October).

A peaceful apartment offering a beautiful view

The pictures do not exaggerate the wonderful view from the balcony of this property. Everything was clean, tidy and well organised. The excellent hosts, Ruth and Neville, were on hand at all times and were very polite and helpful. The area was an ideal base from which to explore the island and was peaceful during the evenings. It is noteworthy that some areas of Malta have VERY steep hills, whereas this bay is slightly flatter and therefore more comfortable to walk or run around. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment or to book it again myself.

Without a dedicated parking space, we occasionally had to park quite far down the road due to all nearby spaces being occupied. There is a bus stop immediately outside the apartment, so a car is not really essential anyway. Otherwise, the stay was perfect :)

Nice and comfy apartment

Beautiful view, easy to park car, close to convinient store and good restaurants (Lili’s, Del Nonno, Barracudas), close to the best Maltas beaches (our favourite Paradise Bay), close to Ferry to Gozo, overall great location for sightseeing Malta, apartment well equiped, big living room, AC in every room and especially hosts are very kind and nonstop online on Whatsapp ready for advise about everything :).
