Superb sports facilities, quite location. Appartments are spacious and clean.
Staff very friendly.
Food is OK, not exceptional but you have healthy choice.
I recommend appartment either sea view.
Small details on the room would make it more cosy (hangers, lamps, shoe cabinet). Dishwasher would also be nice.
10.0 / 10.0
- very clean and impressive room that easily fit 3 people (we had a studio room)
- Super friendly, accommodating, kind & helpful staff - they went above and beyond to help in anything we needed and nothing seemed too much for them (whether it was moving a table to a top floor study centre or giving my friend a coffee in the hotel for breakfast as she needed one and didn't even charge)
- Super accommodating with our luggage needs keeping our most expensive items safe in the office.
- My partner left his hoodie behind and they went above and beyond to help get it back even going to the post office to get a quote for sending it to England.
- My friend injured her foot the last day and they promptly gave us instructions on nearest care facility 5 min away
- Beautiful room, well laid out, balcony, well furnished, excellent quality fittings
- heated mirror in bathroom
- soft close on kitchen cabinets
- lots of small touches in the room which have been well thought out and executed
- Decent Wi-Fi across the resort (when it works)
- Excellent weight training gym
- Cleaner attended issue with overly wet bathroom quickly and late in evening
- Reception staff were magnificent - especially Beralides who was so warm and kind & the lady from Ukraine who checked us in she was amazing and super friendly telling us where to go for the best photos!
- lots of sports to try although most were an additional hire charge
- we got lucky and were put into a room with a sea view (didn’t specify or pay for this)
- walls were well sound insulated from other guests noises
- really close to local village / town which was exactly what we wanted - it's also walking distance from the beach
- Needs better bowls and kitchen utensils, personally I wanted to cook often and the lack of bowls was a bit offputting
- Garbage not collected daily (which is fine but there should be a place to throw it outside ideally)
- Drain plug doesn’t drain water very quickly when using the shower and water gets all over the bathroom
- Gap in bathroom sliding door so you can see into and out of the bathroom when on the toilet which isnt great for privacy reasons
- all our towels in bathroom had a slight but noticeable greasy smell about them but towels in the gym smelt good and fresh
- not very impressive or inviting beach but the hotel infrastructure compensates for this with impressive pools, bars and gardens

So many fun things to do. Great choice of classes and activities and enthusiastic instructors. Plus lovely pools. Especially loved the Olympic pool. Lots of space and very clean in the public areas. Our apartment was really comfortable and spacious. We had everything we needed. Clean modern bathroom with great shower. Super comfy beds. Good restaurants which were not overpriced. You can really enjoy relaxing at Las Playitas or go all out and do loads of activities. Either way it's a lovely place to be and I did not want to come home.
Supermarket a bit limited for choice if you want to self cater and a bit expensive too. Good excuse to eat in the restaurants though! The resort is a bit isolated so a car is useful if you want to see the island. However we ended up staying on the resort as there was so much to do. Not much to fault really.

clean tidy good facilities
could have done more running activities which they had when we were there in January. Evenings were a bit too quiet

The playitas resort is an amazing place to rest and practice sports. A all day activities program gives you the opportunity to try some sports and to enhance your fitness. The apartments had the right space for a family of 4 and the food as very good.
I would recommend the creation of more activities for kids after 6. We felt there was low offer on that age tier.

From the check in to the service during the stay to the departure it was first class. Let's start with the room - we had an apartment with a sea view so seeing the sun rise was spectacular. The whole resort is super quiet which we loved. We could actually get a good night's sleep ready for the activities the next day. The program of events and activities for the whole family were vast and well organised. Kids took part in a triathlon, spin class, handball etc while the adults were able to take exercise classes outside in the sunshine with highly trained, energetic and motivating instructors. there was a cycling centre, a climbing wall and a golf course. We got to try our new sports such as Padel. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had. There were healthy and fresh juices and smoothies available as well as protein powder for the true athletes, water and regular juices. Food ranged from different types of cooked eggs, cereals, starch, carbs, veg and fruit as well as a variety of healthy and very tasty breads and yoghurts. The entire staff from reception to the restaurants to the on site supermarket to the sports staff were beyond friendly. The atmosphere was very chilled for a sports-focused resort. You need to love sports to stay here but you feel healthy, active and just happy walking around seeing everyone exercise to their full potential. Going at Xmas time made it feel very special to be in the sun with gorgeous surroundings and great weather. We were so very sad to go. We are planning our next trip already. We cannot wait to come back. Thanks to Massimo for everything he did for the kids and the entire Sports Booking staff (Josephin, Ann Sophie, Miriam etc).

Great golf course and amazing sporting facilities. Extensive sports program & courses. Very friendly staff. The apartments next to the ocean with seaview are highly recommended.
The rooms are a little bit dated and could use a make-over.

Had a brilliant week here with my family. The accomdation in the aparthotel was fantastic for a family. The sports facilities are amazing but are all extra which can become very expensive. Most of the exercise classes are free though. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a lovely walk (5 mins) alomg the seafront to a couple of cafes which serve lovely fish dishes. The pools are great, just a bit cold for children to last more than 10-20 minutes, luckily I bought a wetsuit for my boys. The water slide is fantastic and provided hours of entertainment. Also we rented a balance bike for the week for my eldest and for 5 euros a day it was well worth it! We loved all the gardens and how well kept the property was.
We will definitely be back.

The staff are always pleasant, the classes are fun and the facilities are great e.g. heavybags for boxing, a decent gym, tennis courts, a 50m laned pool, cycle hire and off-road tracks for running and indeed much more. You can do as much or as little as you want and it is always very relaxing.
On this our third visit we were informed on arrival that we were being given a room in the hotel, not a studio apartment, as I booked. I book the Aparthotel in part because I am a coeliac and it allows me cook what I want (though I should mention some GF food is available as part of the buffet) but also an apartment gives space to relax during the day, which a hotel room rarely affords.
While we were compensated, it just isn't the same experience: the hotel rooms are newly refurbished and are thus possibly better that the Aparthotel in that regard, but unlike the Aparthotel have no balcony furniture and are sparsely furnished inside, and of course, have no cooking facilities. In short, a very different experience when you are expecting an apartment. Thankfully after a few nights, space became available in the Aparthotel.
While this one annoyance was outweighed by the many positives, I would want to understand how to avoid this happening next time.

Location, sports facilities, atmosphere and staff is very nice. Fully recommended.
Very nice but limited kids club hours, Olympic Swimmingpool closes at 6.30pm and you need to pay extra to use it.

The property is really beautiful, modern, well-kept and super well equiped with almost any sport equipment desired. The staff is really great. I love the olympic Swimmingpool.

The property is beautiful and has all you need for a great sports vacation. Activities for anyone from kids to professionals. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is good. You can find anything you need on the resort.
The Corona policies in place are keeping everyone safe. So even now I can recommend this place.
