the room was lovely and spacious. we arrived very early and were allowed to rest in the common area. the night guard was very welcoming and even recommended when we should go out and where to see the sunrise. the breakfast and cleaning staff were also amazing and very friendly.
the comunal breakfast table was nice as you could talk to others who were staying and share stories/tips

This place was amazing. Everything was perfect. I am already planning on going back to stay there. The town is adorable, lovely place, and the hotel was perfect.
Everything was great.

Very comfy beds. Breaky is not bad. Toilets.
The breakfast staff woman was quite loud our first morning yelling at someone on the phone. She seemed to have a big fight an integrated the whole guests into her conversation which was not only unprifessional for a hotel but uncomfortable.

It was such a pleasure to stay here. It has been far and away the best accommodation I’ve stayed in in Colombia and I really wish I could have stayed longer. Book ahead, La Casa Amarilla is tightly very popular!
Nothing at all.

Is a magical house in Mompox downtown. I love the place, all the human team make you feel comfortable and feel like home. My recommendation is, if you have the possibility, try to pay for the big rooms. I think the experience change in a good way. One of the suites have an amazing balcony to see the sunset and a beautiful entrance with reclining chairs with view to the central patio of the house. Great experience ❤️

It is near the main square and the room was big.
Too much quiet ,no antimosquitos and the staff ,specially the woman are very cold and not enough friendly, like in a motel.

Excellent location, beautiful garden, lovely big room and friendly staff. Fan and air conditioning were really strong. Bed was so comfy I struggled to get up! And I really appreciated that they gave me a packed breakfast when I had to leave really early on my last day. Great value.
Nothing!

Great location within walking distance of the central area. The hotel was very pretty and authentic.
Parking is offsite but it is only a short walk

This hotel and it's colonial architecture is incredibly charming. The rooms were simple, but clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, which is very necessary in Mompox! The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The wifi was quite weak, and you had to go sit in the lobby if you needed to accomplish anything important.

The price, it's was so expensive, the street and the entrance looks like a flod were occurred

fine location, nice people, good breakfast, security; wifi was fine nearby the reception
sound travels easily here (occasionally); it might be useful to have a key of the front door for the guests, so they can open it themselves.
9.0
The staff, hotel layout and communal breakfast.
Could use a little freshening up ie. paint

hotel is in an old colonial building with rooms surrounding a small courtyard.
Room is modest but comfortable with AC and fan.
location is next to river making for wonderful stroll down the promenade
staff is very helpful with info and booking for tour/bus, restaurant recommendations.
I would stay again.

4.0
location and house
service was not so good, only one dinner table for more than 8 rooms, there was animals in the room and the scramble eggs had pieces of the egg skin on it, only one guy, which was available during the evening was good, the checkin was slow and they make you fill a lot of data by hand after a long trip is annoying, this should be done by then.

Beautiful house and comfortable room, super friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast.
Noisy at night time.

Stunning colonial house converted into a small hotel. Didn't look like much from the outside but it's beautiful once we walked in. Tastefully decorated. Great breakfast. Centrally located right by the river. The best thing about Casa Amarilla is the staff. The lady at the front desk in the morning is very kind. The two housekeepers I want to take them home with me. The gentleman at night shift was so nice. He walked us almost to the main road trying to find us a tuktuk when the one we arranged didn't show up. Thank you!!!
No hot water for the whole three days we were there. Wifi is sporadic at times.

The beds were super comfy. The house has a very cool colonial style. The room was big and the breakfast was great with fruits, eggs, coffee, juice and bread
Wifi barely works in the room. You need to go to the lobby. At night we had no water, so I had to wake up the security guy who could fix this within 5 minutes. The next day there was sand coming out of the tab with the water.

Great location, right beside the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is pretty good too.
Wifi signal is very weak in some parts of the hotel. If you were working, you would probably have to work from the lobby.

The breakfast was good.
The staff members were very friendly.
The sheets and towels did not look immaculate.
There was no lote parking, so we have to leave the car on the street.

The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The room was clean and refreshing on a 38ºC day. Breakfast was serviced promptly and with quality. The parking and wifi options were good although both could be improved.
The manager wanted us to use the in house tourism services that weren't the best options

Nice living rooms, interesting background, old colonial mansion.
Rooms are good but air condition and other were noisy especially upstairs
