The lovely garden and peacefulness, very friendly, relaxed family-run place.
i felt it was a little overpriced.

The hotel is clean and nice
It is very expensive for what you get. The bed and pillow were not comfortable. The WC did not Work well and the shower is old

We liked the beautiful fruit trees and the breakfast.
We are really sorry to say that this has been one of the worst experiences for a while.
- the rooms are not in a good state and very old; (big) splatted spiders in the bathroom, broken bedside light, a curtain railing that broke without even touching it, a tv from the nineties...(I saw that this feedback also comes back in some other reviews).
- what we are more shocked and appalled about however is the wild animal that the owner keeps in a very small cage, without any plants, nothing. We really found it a case of animal cruelty and really don't support this. We were heartbroken by the squeaking noises it was making. (photos attached) It was really sad and horrible.
- But what really did it for us was that de owner kept on knocking our door saying that he wanted more money, even after I showed him on my bank account that the correct amount of money had been deducted. This was very annoying, took a lot of our time and made us feel very unwelcome, to the point that we decided to leave early. We paid for three nights, but left after two because of this unpleasant behaviour - something we have never done before and that you really don't want for your holiday.

Nice location
Extremely noisy place and zero "hotel" infrastructure. Very bad cost-benefit and by any means it can be classified as a "hotel boutique". It should promote as a "guest house" or hostel. Bedroom was dirty, broken frigobar, no air-conditioned as extremely loud noise from surroundings as well as from the guests (or family of the owner) which were hosted in the place.
