super view. room was great with huge windows overlooking sea. all very clean. best breakfast included. loved the serene beach
awareness: it is a 15 min type walk into the main town centre for cafés, bus, grocery. fine in good weather. 1 closest restaurant a block away never opened when there. check-in was later than other private accommodations including hotels i stayed in on the camino and no early check-in. i did not read that fine print. i was able to leave my backpack. a nice relaxing chair to enjoy the view from the room would be great! there was a desk chair- just a suggestion to further enjoy the beautiful accommodations.

A large perfectly stark white room - with the best ceiling to floor oceanfront view you could imagine. And a major bathroom - beautifully appointed.

Superb value. Amazing location. Great room.

Location at the foot of a beautiful beach, and a short 500 metre walk to the town centre. From every room, you have an absolutely stunning view of the beach (Praia da Langosteira) and the sea! Gorgeous!!
The restaurant next door, A Fonte do Raposo (which I believe is owned by same people as this hotel), is excellent! We ate there for every meal (except breakfast as it’s provided by the hotel).
There’s only one issue from keeping this place from a 9-10 rating: air conditioning. It was very hot on our first night (38C in daytime, then dropped from 26 to 21 from midnight through to 8am), and no breeze can come through the big windows unless you open the door to the hallway. Second night was much better (temperature dropped from 22 to 18 from midnight to 8am). However it would’ve been a much more comfortable sleep with A/C as the room would already be 20C when I want to go to sleep.
A/C would make this place a 9.5-10 rating. In the absence of A/C, a fan mounted on every room wall is needed.
