Rose and her husband were wonderful! Great host!
Breakfast was good. Heater was provided when we were cold. Rose can speak English (and a bit of French!) and has been answering our questions.
Overall great ! Highly recommended!

A very nice, englisch speaking hosts, who helped us with all our questions and prepared a delicious breakfast with eggs, ham, bread and coffee! Very recommended

Breakfast was great, and although it was located in the foot traffic only part of the old town, there was a place not 100m away where a taxi could pick you up.
Nothing. Superb in every way.

This is one of the best hotels my wife and I have stayed at in all our travels all over China. It's a traditional Tibetan house that survived the fire of 2014. The room was large, attractive and very comfortable, and the hotel has a nice cozy common area with a warm stove. Every night the extremely friendly and helpful host Rose, her local friends, and other travelers hung out around this stove talking. We were also lucky enough to arrive on the Chinese New Year and were invited to a huge feast and a fun party. So it wasn't only one of the best hotels we've stayed at in China, but one of the best experiences we've had here (or anywhere). Thank you so much Rose. I highly recommend this hotel.
The shower was a little weak and the pipes froze one morning (during an unusual cold spell) -- but it's a 70-year-old house, after all. Otherwise it's completely comfortable.

This was one of the most comfortable and cozy guest houses I have ever stayed in! Rose and Azon are incredibly kind, friendly, helpful people and they really understand the needs of foreign guests, especially westerners. Comfortable beds, non-smoking, western food (if desired), etc. They made everything so easy for me including helping me arrange a covid test in town which was above and beyond. And Rose's English is amazing so no communication barriers. I extended my stay a few days because the place was so wonderful. Location was perfect too. Highly recommended!
Nothing - everything was great!

The place was very clean and comfortable. Good value for money. The hosts were so nice and gave us many tips about where to go, places to visit in Shangrila. Would definitely come back here next time we come back!
Everything was great!

The hosts are incredible, spent a lot of time with us to chat, give us advices, even organized a BBQ together! The husband of the owner is a mountain guide, can take you on 1day/7day hiking trips.
The hotel is in wood, old style house (veery nice & comfy) and the rooms are very comfortable.
The ginger tea of the host is so yummy !

We loved everything about our stay and loved it so much we stayed a little longer even. The room was so quaint and spacious; the Tibetan style is such a cool experience. The owners are the sweetest and most accommodating hosts, and their pet dog and cat (who stay outside mostly, so if you’re allergic no worries) are just as friendly. It’s the perfect location to explore the old town, but also very near the road so you can get dropped off or picked up easily to go wherever you want. The owners (who speak excellent English) helped up book tours and find places to visits. Overall it was a great deal and experience.

A very nice couple host this place, feels really like home. The whole house is a traditional Tibetan villa. Quite a Tibetan culture experience.
