We loved the location, right in the centre of Cirencester. The room was amazing, great space, very comfortable and clean. The staff were exceptional and the hotel restaurant had a great menu that was also very good value for money.
There was nothing we didn’t like.
4.3
Beautiful hotel, perfect location & friendly staff.
Could have done with 2 coffee pods each
But everything else was perfect
4.3
Location and breakfast
Water was not warm enough

Room was very good. food was was very good
No drinking chocolate sachet and very little milk for extra hot drinks

Staff were very friendly and upgraded us to a room with a bath FOC 😍

After a somewhlat indifferent first stay, we were invited back as guests of the Hotel.
Room was nice and staff excellent and Joanna made every effort to make us welcome.
The " Piece de resistance" though was the Curry night.
It was without doubt the best curry we''ve ever had!( and I've had a few!).
Thoroughly reccommend it.

The hotel was super clean, the staff where friendly and made us extremely welcome,
Food was fantastic I
The bed was lumpy and needed replacing, didn't sleep very well

It’s smelt like toilet when we first entered

Bar and restaurant on site
All good, nothing to complain about. Just a little pricey but maybe the time of year.

Location, staff, breakfast, and more.
Thank you Romenta and Megan.

Manager was very helpful.
Pet friendly
Nice building.
Inconsistent bar staff abilities
Poor housekeeping - evidently not as covid-clean as they would have you believe
4.3
The apartment was great, they accommodated our dogs - 4 of them and one of them had an accident on the bed it was no bother for them to change the bedding for us. The breakfast options were varied and delicious.
Nothing

We upgraded and the room was spacious and light . Bed was comfortable . Staff were helpful with my request to change rooms.
I found the original room rather dark and gloomy with a small window (although it did have a great bathroom and it was a dull November day )
4.3
Location/breakfast was excellent. The room was very well appointed and spotlessly keen.
4.3
The room was lovely, and had great amenities. The hotel had a great common area.
Operating the light switch by way of inserting the room key into a slot was confusing. The pillows were not comfortable at all and could definitely have been more plush.
4.3
Hotel is conveniently on the high street but being on the 3rd floor it’s not noisy at all. And lots of restaurants to choose from.
The iron board that was parked outside the wardrobe was a bit unsightly, also the switches of the bedside lamps are almost touching the floor making it inconvenient to reach.
4.3
The convenience of the Kings Head to the Town. Pleasant surroundings.
The long route to the apartment with luggage, that should be mentioned to customers. As there is no car park luggage had already been carried some little distance.
The apartment did smell a little musty as if it had not been used for a little while!
The fact that you had breakfast included, but it did not include the cooked breakfast on the menu.
4.3
Great location right in the heart of Cirencester.
Great quirky room with lovely big free standing bath and walk in shower.
The price of the breakfast! £17 for continental then another £18 on top for a cooked breakfast.
4.3
Our room was lovely, we had hoped that there would be a bath which there wasn't but as we hadn't requested one it wasn't a problem, large walk in shower was good. Very comfortable bed, our unexpected bonus was an outside terrace area which was great, we enjoyed using it in the evening and next morning. Surprised that the toiletries provided although good quality were in refillable containers- good fro sustainability but I think for the price individual sizes should be provided.
Cooked breakfast was not included in the price-I think it should be at the price charged. You could pay extra for cooked but it was very expensive. the continental selection offered was very good with a wide variety of choice.
4.3
Comfortable, Great Location
Breakfast Buffet
4.3
You buy breakfast as an extra on top of the room booking, when you arrive at the hotel you realise this is a continental breakfast so anything hot must be ordered on top, you basically pay double than if you just ordered hot from the downstairs restaurant.
4.3
Everything, historic building with modern contemporary design, amazing location.
4.3
Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice.
Tea at the bar wasn't well served - a variety of different cups /mugs, and no teaspoons.
4.3
Spacious rooms, very clean and comfortable.
Nothing.

Everything, the room was perfect in every way and the location of the hotel was amazing, I will definitely return.

Fabulous room, slight smellbof sewage when we came back to room at night..... A bit dear for room only
Cost.....dear for room only & £17 for breakfast was a bit much
4.3
Nice building and interior
Nice big appartement with good equipments
Nice location
Excellent restaurant
No clotheshorse for the machine the first night, dishes dirty in the closet, very bad double bed (had to exchange with the kids) and impossible to book the thermal suits as I called 4 times without success and was full when I got there

Overall, the hotel was superb. If you are looking for a mini break in a quintessential English market town, then this is it, and the King's Head is at the very heart of it. Two nights was not quite enough to explore all the shops, and for a trip to Highclere Castle (Downtown Abbey), which is about an hour away.
The reception staff were obviously very busy but gave me so much of their time, making sure we had a great break.
Nothing at all was adverse. We picked a front room overlooking the market. Obviously this means you hear the occasional car door close, but the view over the Market Street was worth it. There are plenty of rooms away from the road, if required.

Great location
4.3
excellent location, friendly staff & nice, comfy bedroom.
very basic breakfast for the cost of the room. cold buffet included (reasonable quality but very limited choice) but extra charge for hot breakfast dishes. We thought the room rate warranted a decent breakfast without being charged extra, bit disappointed by that but otherwise a lovely stay.

The apartment room was spacious and the hotel was in an ideal location for exploring Cirencester.
There was no mirror in the bedroom, nowhere to do hair. A full length mirror would be welcomed. The breakfast was the most disappointing aspect of the stay. We paid £17 a head but this didn’t include any cooked element and the hotel ran out of pastries. Very disappointing.
4.3
Great location in the heart of Cirencester. Rooms weee a good size and very clean. Staff were friendly.
Pillows in the room were very flat and probably need an upgrade. Breakfast was a little disappointing with only continental included in the price of the stay and for the price I would expect more/ cooked items.
4.3
large room. nice big comfortable bed. friendly staff. nice big shower. honest staff also as I dropped money at reception and they called me to let me know.
air conditioning didn’t work. reported it and was promised someone would fix and contact us. never got fixed so made the room uncomfortable. at night I couldn’t sleep due to constant vibrations which sounded like a washing machine spinning. I felt for the price it wasn’t up to standards. I wouldn’t stop again due to the noises while trying to sleep. wish I stopped at a cheaper one down the road now. complete waste of money and poor customer service after I made my complaints
