NOTHING. TERRIBLE PLACE.
We had the worst experience in Pura Vita.
I’m easy going and never have issues while traveling.
I asked to see the room and the receptionist would not allow till checkin time even tho there were plenty of rooms empty to see. I then got quoted a way higher price than shown online and would not match the price or show me which room I would be getting if I booked online. The staff was rude and seemed completely disinterested in hosting us.
I left and tried to find other accommodations but unfortunately the hostel near by was already booked out so needed up coming back to Pura Vita.
The room was very run down, walls have mould, and the fan was rusty.
We paid extra for a “sea view room” but it had the bed facing the wall and not the window where you can look at the view (no point in paying for cottage on a beach if you can’t enjoy the view).
The power kept going out which made air conditioning constantly turned off. This seemed like an issue specifically with Pura Vita and not the hotels near by.
Wi-Fi did not work at all at the are with the cottages, and only by the reception which made it really annoying.
After checking out we asked if we could leave our luggage so we can go hangout at different side of the island without our bags and they wouldn’t let us (first time ever in all the many places I’ve stayed).
Overall terrible place to stay I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Hope this message gets read by the owner and sees how his place is ran when he’s not around. His employees clearly don’t care.

The location is great, nearby the sea and the ferry station.
The staff is great, superfriendly and very helpful.
Everything was clean. The restaurant is very good and the prices are okay (this island isn't ceap in general, so...).
Recommend it! ❤
The water sometimes stopped, so you had tho be careful not to use too many.

Location
Staff, rooms, wrong information provided on rooms. What we booked was different from what was given and staff were not helpful at all.

Food,. location, staff were great.

The property is right beside the pier so when you arrive off the ferry you are literally at the property. There is a restaurant on site. The bungalows for the price paid are good - clean and comfortable with a fan.
When we took a walk along the beach to other properties we considered for our stay, our eyes were opened to the faults of Pura Vita. The strip of beach that is in front of Pura Vita is heavily littered, all other parts of the beach that are in front of other resorts are maintained and clean. Very disappointing that this resort does not pick up the litter as some items we saw on the beach are quite dangerous - lid of a tin, fish hook etc.
It got to the stage that my boyfriend got up one morning and raked/ cleaned one bit on the beach so we felt safe enough to sit there. (We still wore shoes going into the sea). This litter problem is probably heightened by the lack of bins too!
There are also no sun loungers at the resort only chairs and tables at the restaurant and two beach chairs.
This property has a lot of potential they just need to sort out the basics - litter, adding bins, having Sun loungers and chairs.

The entire staff has done a great job especially the big boss kiki.

It was right at the long set beach, it had a cute restaurant and the villas are on the beach itself
The villa was super basic. The bathroom was terrible. The bathroom had nets with holes which would attract creepy crawlies if the lights were on. The towels seemed so old and not the cleanest. Not value for money. Not even free WiFi is available.

There is no denying the location is beautiful but other than that we would not choose to stay there again.
The room was beyond basic and not at all like the pictures shown online. The bathroom was unclean with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, the toilet in need of a decent clean and descale and filthy curtains hung on the window behind the toilet. There were no surfaces to really unpack (other than to hang clothes )and the furniture on the balcony was, again, nothing like the pictures. One small table a chair from a dining room and a red plastic patio chair. Also there was no chance of getting a drink or any sort of food after 9pm as this was when the bar and restaurant closed and with very little else at this location it was a very early end to both evenings. BEWARE OF THE RESORT TRAVEL INFORMATION OFFICE GUYS WHO TRIED TO RIP US OFF WITH TRANSPORT OFF THE ISLAND TO SIEM REAP. WE HAD ALREADY PURCHASED 2 WAY FERRY TICKETS AND WERE ASSURED BY THE FERRY COMPANY THEY WERE USABLE BOTH WAYS FROM LONG SET BEACH WHERE THIS RESORT IS LOCATED. THEY TOLD US WE COULD NOT USE THESE TICKETS ON DEPARTURE BECAUSE THE FIRST FERRY WAS NOT UNTIL 10am AND WE WOULD MISS OUR CONNECTION AT SIHANOUKVILLE FOR OUR ONWARD JOURNEY TO SIEM REAP. WE WOULD NEED TO PURCHASE 2 TICKETS FOR THE RESORT FERRY AT A COST OF $40pp. STRAIGHT OFF THIS SEEMED ODD SO WE TRAVELLED TO KOH TOCH AND ENQUIRED THERE AND FOUND THIS TO BE UNTRUE, EVENTUALLY GETTING BOOKED ONTO THE 8AM FERRY WITH OUR ORIGINAL TICKET.

Reasonable prices, good food, nice staff, amazing view and calm place. Yes there is bo hot water but it's so hot outside that the water is pretty warm and nice for cooling
Cleaning need some improving

Location in front of the beach.
Very expensive for the service offered. The room conditions are not in accordance with the price, no A/C, bathroom disgusting, mosquito net full of holes. No breakfast included despite the high price (and very expensive in the restaurant).

The location was get, right on the beach and the ferry arrived directly at the resort.
The staff was really nice as well.
Lots of options in the restaurant.
I got food poisoning from dinner, had the fried Khmer fish.
The bathroom was in bad condition.

The price and location are very good for the island. The staff was super nice when my girlfriend had some sumach issues. They made her a nice soup that wasn't on the menu, and kept making sure that she was ok throughout our stay. The a/c worked really well, and there was also a wall fan.
For the price, everything was fine. But there were some funky things about the bungalow. Things like the sink being installed at a slight angle, to the bum gun leaking a bit so that there was a perpetual puddle of water around the toilet.

Beach is amazing, but there needs to be trash pick up (guests were picking up garbage washed up on the beach, while other guests in large groups were leaving trash behind).
Awful sandfly problem, beach needs thorough cleanup and trash pick up. I understand every business suffered due to covid-19, but if I pay $$ ahead for 5 day stay, I expect clean towels, empty trash bin, clean surroundings, and not dirty diaper in the sand outside of my bungalow for three days in the row, until I took it to the garbage bin (I don't have a kid). Filthy bathrooms; stained, dirty walls. Cold shower was not explicitly mentioned. Receptionist/manager was polite and apologetic, but was still not resolving problems. "Please clean the pile of sand from the balcony" was done after 48h, and the blame cast on previous guests. Not responding to emails or calls in a timely manner. Information about boat transport was unclear. There were large groups of loud, weekend visitors blasting music from the resort restaurant (that was otherwise closed at 7pm, when we inquired) until 3am.

The beach is breathtaking. The food is great and staff are very helpful. While the food may be a little more expensive than other locations on this beach, it is definitely better quality. Friendly staff.
3.4
The bungalows are super located, directly on the beachside.
The service staff in the restaurant was inattentive and bored. The bungalow was minimally furnished, there are no hooks on the wall, the bathroom door could not be closed, the shower was broken. There was no safe in the room - all in all you could do more with the bungalows. There are no beach chairs.

Located In 4K beach , very close to the pier. Very close to the water
Very dirty, the table outside was broken, the mosquito net was torn. The fan was so dirty we had to clean it with wipes. The water smelt of rust. We had a pizza in their restaurant, which was the worst I'd ever eaten, in a cardboard flavor.
