Perfect place for beach and excursions

Hotel is located in the second row of the beach. There is party at the beach (Pink Iguana Bar) on Fridays and Saturdays. I heard guests with rooms facing the beach complaining about noise during weekend nights. My room was facing the back country. With my windows closed I did not hear anything during weekend nights.

Exceptional

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Volcano. The hotel was very cozy, located in the center of Puerto Villamil. We arrived in the morning before the official check in. David welcomed us with a nice fruity drink and our room was ready within 10 minutes. He was very accommodating and helpful. Isabela is a beautiful island, don't miss it on your way to the Galapagos

Pleasant

The seaview Looks better in the Fotos as it is. Prove is top high for what they the Hotel offer. Düring the das no stuff is in the Hotel. The Guy (when he is there) is super friendly and also speaks english a little bit.

PRETTY NIVE BUT AVOID SATURDAY NIGHT STAY

BREAKFAST IS VERY GOOD, FRONT DESK SERVICE IS EXCELLENT

THIS HOTEL IS CLOSE TO TREE TOP BAR, IT WAS SATURDAY NIGHT AND IT WAS EXTREMENLY NOISY EVEN AFTER MIDNIGHT

Beautiful arrangements in the room (the ocean view was fantastic) superb clean , good room service, nice breakfast. The staff at the reception was very accommodating (arranged early breakfast before 7 am tours) and late check out, advised on best tours). Location is perfect !!!

Best place I stayed in the Galapagos!

David the hotel manager is absolutely fantastic, went above and beyond for us, nothing was too much trouble. I left my purse in the hotel and he contacted me to let know I had left it behind and he has organised to get it back to me even though I have left the island! The rooms are also lovely and clean located right by the beach could not recommend enough.

it was in a great location but most of all the staff were magnificent so helpful in everything from local sites to even sharing the internet hot spot.

maybe the internet could be added to the property I had to travel to the sister hotel to connect?

The room was at beachfront and the views where amazing Hotel service arranged a lot of activites (you have to pay addon), but we enjoy a lot Isabella with those activities Very kind service from hotel

Twisted feeling at Casa de la Playa and NOT AT Hotel Volcano

The view is astonishing. The breakfast was nice, good location. Small hotel, but gave welcome pack, and fresh water refill was available on the same floor.

Actually we did not stay at Hotel Volcano, as after the booking and the payment taken by the hotel chain ( Opuntia Hotels) i was informed that the reservation was changed to a different hotel in the chain, with no previous question, or approval. Regardless the room view was nice, the room itself was much smaller than the one i booked, was incredibly noisy, as it was right at the breakfast area, ergo every guest and the kitchen was audible, it made our stay very uncomfortable (room 303). Also very unpleasant experience was that first night 4am a delivery guy was shouting (!!!!) constantly for the receptionist to deliver eggs and water and bread for 15 mins, on the 2nd night some random stranger came drunken to the door at 3am and was knocking on it expected to be let in. Later next day it came out that he missed the room he was looking for, but at 3am kNocking on your door is just super annoying, especially after first night experience. Besides that, the beach is 1 step away, and the breakfast is nice. However cleaning lady does not much beyond doing your bed. 50/50 experience. Also internet is "sometimes" working, sometimes not.

Lovely hotel

Very good location close to the beach and close to the 5 restaurants they have on the island. Staff were polite and very helpful. They also speak English which is very handy.

Exceptional

Everything - this hotel is amazing! I stayed in numerous hotels while I was in Galapagos and Hotel Volcano was right at the top of my list. I arrived on the first boat hours before check in was available and had one of the moat pleasant reception experiences I've ever had on any of my travels. Elizabeth (I hope I've remembered correctly) was so friendly and accomodating. She directed me to a lovely local café for breakfast and told me what I should do and see before coming back for check-in. She gave great advice and I had a gorgeous morning! And when I got back to the hotel I had been upgraded to a sea view room which was stunning. I even tried to cancel my other hotels to stay here longer but unfortunately there was no availability. Isla Isabela was my favourite island and I'm sure that's partly to because of how lovely my experience was!

- view to the sea from room - very nice staff (proactively made us a breakfast box when we had to leave at 5:30am) - very modern rooms One of the best hotels on Isabela!

No Wifi in rooms, only in public area. But this is really a minor restriction
