El personal muy amable y simpático. El aire acondicionado funcionaba perfectamente y es totalmente imprescindible en verano allí.

Estaba muy sucio, el baño olía mal constantemente y la habitación es muy pequeña e incómoda.

A good value low key spot for budget travelers.

The staff helped us book several excursions and airport transport - so kind and a good value too. The chance to meet and chat with travelers in the bar was also so fun. A good value low key spot for budget travelers.

Good location for a low price.

The staff was very friendly and helped us arrange some of the tours. They provide free coffee in the morning and they have a cool bar. The location is super convenient.

It was not very clean, specially the toilet in our room and the common spaces. They were doing renovations but the carpets looked dirty and you could see inside some rooms that were dirty as well.

Recomendo, bom custo x benefício!

Hostel simples mas aconchegante! Localizado longe da estação de trem e proximo a uma tua bastante movimentada, mas com supermercados e restaurantes próximos! o staff é muito querido e falavam inglês, o que ajudou muito! Tem um pub no primeiro andar com happy hour e musica ao vivo… bastante agradável! Também oferecem tours para as principais atividades da cidade!

Nada que realmente tenha nos incomodado!

Если бронировать заранее - цена хорошая

В 2023 году останавливались в хостеле. Тогда остались не довольны - был жуткий запах канализацией (отзыв можно найти ниже). Сейчас же номера обновлены. Запаха нет. Висят новые кондиционеры. Ванная комната чистая. Постельное белье - чистое. Уборка номера - ежедневная. В коридоре кулер с водой (но нам она по вкусу не понра). Утром бесплатное кофе. Часть хостела закрыта - там делают капитальный ремонт. Отсюда и идут неудобства: ковролин в строительной грязи, рабочие курят - все расходится по коридору, шумно. Если рассматривать на перспективу - хостел норм.

Chengdu is amazing, and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere other than here.

I loved this place, the staff were so friendly and inclusive. They always made time to help you if you needed it. Nicole and Mike were two of the loveliest people I’ve encountered at hostels in China. They answered all of my questions and made guests feel comfortable and at home in the city. In addition, the staff here make amazing drinks!

Rooms were clean and staff were very friendly! They helped us with any queries (such as what places to eat, where to explore), and overall was a very pleasant stay. Value for money

Great value fot money!

Great value for money! Booked a twin room with ensuite bathroom. Rooms have windows to the outside (not a given in China). They are spacious and the bathroom has everything you need.

Beds a bit hard after a few days. Personnel bugged me via WeChat to give them a ten star rating after the stay. I did not find them particularly helpful though. We wanted to organise an individual trip to Emeishan and asked them for help. But except for the predefined tours they offer through a partner (thus can also not give many details about the nature of that tour) they did not offer much helpful information. For booking train tickets they just told us we need to go to the nearest train station. Yeah, thanks, we know that, too. Luckily we speak Chinese and could handle everything ourselves. But from hostels I’m used to a different level of information in terms of low budget tips for activities, etc.

Je moet het hebben van de mensen die je ontmoet!

Ik had contact met Damon en een meisje die er werkte, zij waren erg aardig en sociaal. Ze waren makkelijk te bereiken via Wechat. Leuk dat ze gezamenlijke activiteiten organiseren, dat had best nog meer gemogen wat mij betreft (bijvoorbeeld tegen betaling). Het was te merken dat iedereen hier hard werkt; de jongen bij de receptie was de hele ochtend mensen aan het helpen inchecken, koffie zetten en vragen te beantwoorden. Goede gratis koffie ‘s ochtends en cocktails ‘s avonds! Dichtbij het oude winkelstraatje bij de Wenshu tempel. Ook het modernere winkelcentrum Wanda plaza is 20 min lopen.

Kamer was erg donker, er was een klein raampje wat niet goed dicht kon waardoor er veel muggen binnenkwamen. Meeste faciliteiten hebben onderhoud nodig. Ik hoop dat het hostel de kans krijgt om door te ontwikkelen voor internationale gasten, zodat het net wat makkelijker wordt om mee te doen of te socializen. Bijvoorbeeld een Engelstalige kaart voor de drankjes. Als solo reiziger moet je het echt hebben van de mensen die je ontmoet, maar ik weet zeker dat met een paar verbeteringen dit een top notch hostel kan worden.

If only I could give 11/10, I surely would! The place is great and the personnel is beyond awesome!

I'd highly recommend this place to start your journey in China - the personnel is so kind and helpful and speaks perfect English as well, so it will surely make it way easier to navigate around and generally adjust to Chinese specifics. Activities for guest were also great, we really enjoyed both Hot Pot Party and Sichuanese Opera show, so don't miss them! Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to travel outside Chengdu, but the travelling offer is very interesting and surely worth checking out. At the same time, our room was very clean, comfy and just big enough for us. Free coffee is highly recommended as well (recommedation made by my friend, a coffee addict who struggled to find a good coffee in China :D) Special kudos for Michael and Damon, thank you guys for a fantastic experience!

A very distinctive youth hostel. The first floor is a very stylish bar, and the second floor is currently undergoing ren

The style of the first floor bar is very stunning. The male waiters on the night shift are very enthusiastic and provide excellent service, which is commendable. The accommodation location is relatively convenient for taking a taxi within the first ring road, but unfortunately the sign is a bit small and difficult to find

The cleanliness of the living room needs to be improved. The waitress with white spots is not very enthusiastic

A good area to get to know Chengdu

Well priced, slightly depressing having stayed here before the pandemic and seeing the changes since

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent.

We've stayed here twice before, last time just before the pandemic. The changes made to the hostel to keep the business running during the difficult years since then have made what was once one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in in China a shadow of its' former self. The formerly clean, light airy atmosphere downstairs is now a dark and dingy Western bar with loud live music and the rooms, corridors etc are tired and worn out with many things broken.

Would not recommend, very dirty. People smoking everywhere

The location is good, is near the metro station. It is near to the city centre, and there are a lot of local restaurants beside the hostel. The room is spacious.

The hygiene condition is out of expectation. There were people smoking everywhere, and I can smell smoke even in my room. The condition of the toilet is dirty, I was not comfortable using it before using it. I decide to stay here because my friend has stayed here before, and said it was clean enough. We suspected that this could be because the owner has changed during Covid period, it is no longer a non-smoking hostel and they hygiene is really bad.

The hotel had good atmosphere and vibe to it every night.

Friendly staff, great place to hang out at night, had a small gym room, washer and dryer, the temperature of the shower was very convenient, and it was very close to the Panda Express bus stop

The sewage smell coming from the toilet, water from the shower drain took a little while to go down, shower head wasn’t working properly, weak water pressure from the shower, mold growing from the ceiling, and room wasn’t properly cleaned
