Sit on one of three decks and enjoy the spectacular Great Smokeys.. High enough for great views but with easy access all year long in 'The Cliffs', a small cabin community of 16 cabins along the road to Cataloochee Ski. 'Mountain Peeks' cabin is over 2,000 square feet: the first level features a living area with fireplace, tv, and fully equipped kitchen along with a master bedroom with queen bed, tv and bath and a guest bedroom with hall bath.

The lower level includes a large game room with game table, fireplace, wet bar with coffee maker and microwave with a beautiful bedroom with queen bed, tv and bath. A private deck rounds out the lower level. Enjoy privacy with a complete living area on each floor with cozy fireplace.

Fall brings the majesty of nature's paintbrush upon the mountains. Winter provides family skiing, tubing and white caps upon the mountains. Spring produces new growth, melting snows enhance the bountiful streams and waterfalls. Summer is a time of cooler temperatures for outside activities including the renowned Folkmoot. Throughout the year enjoy elk watching at Cataloochee National Park, hiking, the Blue Ridge Parkway, golfing, tennis, horseback riding and countless other activities .Lake Junaluska, 5 miles away, provides an exceptional and picturesque walk around the lake that is handicap friendly. Excellent Christian speakers and concerts are available during the year-check their website.A short drive to Asheville and you can enjoy the Biltmore House.

Our cabin is tastefully decorated in log cabin style making for a cozy retreat. It is our vacation home and quite homey, NOT A STERILE MOTEL ROOM. Snuggle in front of the gas log fireplaces with hot chocolate on cool nights. Enjoy relaxing in the front porch rockers, Breathe clean Mountain air while cooking steaks on the gas grill and enjoy God's creation. Or visit a variety of wonderful restaurants available locally.

Note the parking pad holds three vehicles, or two vehicles and a trailer no longer than a total of 20 feet. Arrangements must be made in advance if you have additional parking needs.

The house was very clean, bright, pretty decor, great views and more than enough room for the five of us. Easy to get to and close to attractions. The only drawback- highway traffic noise was quite loud, especially the motorcycles. Didn’t ruin our stay by any means but good to know if you’re looking for a very quiet setting.

Our stay was amazing, we loved waking up and seeing the mountains! The view was awesome ! The neighborhood was quiet which we loved ! We loved our visit to the Lengend bar and grill definitely recommend when you stay! Everything was clean from upstairs to downstairs we had no problems would definitely book again!

My family and I loved our stay. Location is fantastic. Great view and don’t have to climb up a mountain to get there. It’s only 10 minutes from skiing and 2 minutes to snow tubing. Waynsvill is only 15 minutes away. Quiet neighborhood and super clean. Had a nice homey feel. You can tell there is a lot of love in this home.

This property from start to finish was TOP NOTCH! Everything was perfect including the property owner with great communication! This was perfect family getaway for our first real mountain road trip! Maggie Valley is the cutest quiet little mountain hideaway. We will definitely be booking again in the future! Highly recommend this property and location to anyone who wants a great getaway in the beautiful Maggie Valley!

We rented this place based on the pictures. We’ve never been to this area before. This home is centrally located to absolutely everything. Wonderful restaurants, waterfalls, shopping, etc. The house is very clean. It looks exactly like the pictures we had absolutely no issues and we were so very comfortable. It sleeps a lot. We did not use the downstairs, but it two has a fireplace, which was so comfy looking. We sat on the deck every single day. We use the fireplace, which was very easy to use, and we sat on the rocking chairs on the front porch. Just a lovely, lovely home. Larry was so easy to get in touch with and so accommodating. I can honestly say this is by far the best Home that we have stayed in. We definitely look forward to returning.

Beautiful home. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for all of us. Saw elk right in the backyard. Views were gorgeous. Spent a lot of time out on the deck. Plus it is close to everything in Maggie Valley. Will definitely stay there again.

Six adults stayed here for a bronco vehicle show in Maggie Valley. Perfect location, cabin was very clean & beautiful. Will definitely stay here again when coming to the area. Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us! We even seen an elk in the front yard/road while there.

This cabin is not only spacious but it’s in a great location in Maggie Valley. We were a family of 5. 4 adults and one 4 year old. We never felt like it was crowded. Plenty of space upstairs and downstairs. The cabin is also stocked with just about anything you will need for your stay. There’s also toys in the downstairs area for little kids. If we ever make it back to Maggie Valley we will be looking to stay in this cabin again.

The Mountain Peeks Cabin was perfect for our weekend ski getaway. It was very easy to find and it was exactly as described, maybe even more spacious than we thought it would be. Main level was more than big enough for two of us. The cabin was so close to Cataloochee Ski Area. We had a good time skiing but also enjoyed visiting the surrounding towns such as Waynesville and Bryson City. We even stopped by Cherokee Casino. It was fun packed getaway and the cabin had a nice comfortable home like atmosphere to return to after all the activities, so it was great. The communication with the host was very pleasant also.

Cabin is in perfect location if you are going skiing at Cataloochee Ski resort. Only about 10 minutes on the same road. Close to Waynesville. The cabin was very cute and a blast to the past with VHS tapes and games. Our family loved being there. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I enjoyed our time at the cabin. Everything was clean, directions easy to follow, and convenient to things to do. The view from the porch made morning coffee extra enjoyable and relaxing! The only potential downside I could find was the backyard was a fairly steep decline so it made it a little challenging to let the dog get some exercise/use the bathroom. We are already ready to go back!! :)

This cabin met all our needs and we had plenty of room for 5. The two beds in one of the bedrooms was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked and the comvenience to town and food was spot on. We saw a bull elk just down from the house one day and several deer. You won't be disappointed in this cabin!! Neighbors are real close but back deck has some privacy and great views. Communication with owner was great! Thanks for a great long weekend!! We would defintely stay here again.

This was our 1st tine renting a cabin and it was great. Will diffently being doing it more often. Mr Larry was great at communicating. I am a combat veteran, amputated below the left knee, and was very nervous going into this but I am so grateful that we took the chance. When checking it, I did tell Mr Larry that his pictures does not do the cabin justice, the cabin was more than I expected, It Is Beautiful!!!!!! Quite neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. The back porch offers a beautiful view, daytime looking at the mountains or night-time looking at the stars. I recommend this to anyone that is looking for their 1st cabin experience.

We chose this cabin because it had very few steps to enter the property. There was parking very close to the entrance. The cabin had large living area on both levels and nice balconies with a great view. Showers had good pressure and restrooms did not feel cramped. Some mattresses and a recliner were on the older side and toward the end of their life. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

We loved our stay at Mountain Peeks! It was so cozy and comfortable, we felt at home immediately. It had everything we needed and plenty of space, so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy the views. It was conveniently located close to the local shops and restaurants. Our stay was far too short, I could’ve stayed forever. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this cabin to anyone.
