Stayed for a week in the Healesville Cottage and enjoyed it immensely. It is close to town (we walked in a few times) and other yummy attractions like Four Pillars Distillery and & No 7 restaurant.
It was a very cold week, but the cottage was warm and comfortable. The kitchen is really well stocked and we ate in most nights. Having the washing machine was great. It was too cold to enjoy the rear deck, but could see how this would be a great spot in warmer months.
Would definitely come back here for future visits.

I read a review that mentioned the house is ok in summer with air conditioners and we had hot days and it was lovely inside.
The place is well equipped and the coffee machine was a lovely surprise.
We brought our 2 dogs as well. A fantastic yard for 2 large dogs.

Finally a place where we haven’t wanted or needed for anything! Perfect yard for our two dogs and was even more surprised to find toys (including bath toys) for our 15 month old. It was a super hot couple of days when we were there but the air conditioning was more than sufficient!
A quick drive into the main part of Healesville makes it a great location too!
Thank you to Judith & Paul for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

Great location, lovely gardens and surroundings. Outdoor area is fully enclosed and great for al fresco dining even when it is cool. Excellent garden for pets with fully fenced area so they could safely explore and wander around.

Quaint period house which has been renovated. Beautiful floor boards.
Check in was easy with the hosts making themselves available should we require them.
They even supplied us with bread, butter, jams, coffee and milk. So lovely.
Three bedrooms. Two had queen size beds and the third had a single bed. The beds were okay for a few nights.
It was wonderful to have electric blankets given we stayed during winter. Each room had a heating either with reverse cycle or the single room with a plug-in heater.
There were games supplied in the cupboard ensuring family activities. The only TV was quite small and not smart.
It is important to note that the dining table is very small and only has four chairs. There are two couches - a three seater and a two seater.
Lovely for a weekend away or short holiday. Beautiful gardens and outdoor area. We did not bring pets. The house did not smell of pets. It was very clean.

This is paradise for dogs. The garden is truly secure with multiple gates. Teddy loved running around the garden. The terrace is huge and amazing. We spent all our non-walking time on the terrace. Maroondah Dam park is a local gem and dogs are welcome there. Thank you Judith and Paul for letting us have our wonderful get away with Teddy

Ideal family getaway location
Our family of four plus two dogs had an amazing few nights at this property. Information prior to arrival was comprehensive and accurate, we knew exactly what to bring. Thoughtful gestures such as bread, milk, coffee and condiments in the kitchen upon arrival. House was clean, neat and tidy. If you're a dog owner, the yard has excellent fencing and you can be rest assured of your pet's safety. Kids loved playing with all the sports gear. Good location, close to town. Definitely be coming back.

Comfortable & quiet
A really lovely stay in a well presented home. Just the right size for a comfortable home base for exploring the area. Great deck and outdoor spaces with good fencing. Well appointed including some kids toys. I couldn't work the microwave and the food provisions seemed to be more leftover from other guests, but I did appreciate the coffee pods and everything else was great.

Relaxing, peaceful country retreat. Fantastic indoors and out.
A lovely and comfortable 3 bedroom cottage that was perfect for a Mum with two teenage girls all needing a bit of space. We arrived on a 43 degree day after travelling the tourist route to a perfectly presented and beautifully air conditioned 'home away from home'.
The personal touches of fresh bread, homemade jam, butter, milk, nice coffee, tea and biscuits were just amazing.
The deck was just lovely to relax on after days of exploring the area. Our Lorikeet had a fantastic time talking to all the wild birds and a pair of King Parrots even came to visit.
To be honest 3 nights was not long enough!!!

Serene and cute little cottage that is pet friendly
Stayed here over the Christmas break with our dog and a couple of close friends. The place is cozy and suitable for dogs as it is securely fenced. There was a surprised small home made treats for both us and the dog so that was a thoughtful touch. Place were quiet and clean so overall, our stay and little break away from the hustle and bustle city life was pleasant
