This home was exactly as expected and only a few minutes outside of downtown Branson. Would highly recommend this home. ACs worked really well to boot!
4.0 / 5.0
The downstairs playroom with the TV, air hockey, and foosball was great. The main floor bedrooms were very nice, roomy, and clean. Beds were comfortable, but pillows were extremely thick. There is no usable yard, but the accurate description doesn't mention a yard. There are 2 decks. The community pool is about 2 blocks away up a steep hill paved part way and then rough gravel. We drove. The upstairs bathroom had mold on the caulk. The downstairs bath leaked water on the floor. Ice maker didn't work, but the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. There is a sign on the main floor that you should wear slippers because the wood floor would stain socks or bare feet. The floor was tacky/sticky and I threw one pair of socks away they were so black. With attention to some details, this could be a 5*.

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of this property. The sheets were not clean on my daughter’s bed. I pulled out the extra sheets to change the bed only to see a big stain. She slept on beach towels we brought, and I washed the sheets that night. When they came out of the wash, the stain was gone, meaning the sheets had not been washed. There were towels hanging in a few of the bathrooms upon arrival that were not clean, so when we got to the property, I had to start washing. The towels were very old, and there was not enough washcloths. I went to Walmart and purchased washcloths, so my family would have enough for everyone to shower. The floors were dirty. The kids feet were filthy after only walking around barefoot in the house. The “white sock notice” over the refrigerator was just an excuse for not actually properly cleaning the floors. There was a used popsicle wrapper on the floor by a chair in the living room, so the rug was most likely not vacuumed either. We did not bring popsicles, so it was not from our family. The blinds were caked in dust, and in our room, it looked like a used bandaid had been left on the window sill at the head of the bed. The back porch had not been swept or cleaned and was full of spider webs. While this home needs some updates, none of that would have bothered any of us staying had we felt it was clean!

The proximity to Silver Dollar City was perfect for our family. The cabin was large enough to fit our family of 14.
The maintenance of the cabin was lacking. The handle doorknobs we’re installed incorrectly, and did not allow the doors to be closed. The electric in a bathroom was dangerous, our daughter plugged in her hair dryer, the outlet wouldn’t work, so she pushed the reset button on the outlet, and that made the jets come on in the jacuzzi tub. The lower floor bedroom had A/C vents but no air came out of them when the unit was on. The seemly nice screened in back porch was full of cobwebs and brown recluse spiders. We will not be staying in these cabins again next year. Last year we stayed in a different location in Branson and our cabin was amazing!

Pros: clean, roomy, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms,
Con: no yard for young kids to pay in, (not a problem for us)
Overall no complaints! Thanks for a great vacation!

House was nice overall. Fire place does not WORK. I did inquire about it but no one seemed to care to come out to fix it or offer an incentive for this issue not being resolved. One tv in the main area did not work. Definitely could use a few more kitchen cooking utensils. House was in a nice quiet area.

Perfect in every way! Location, accommodations, cleanliness…this home has everything you could ask for! Highly Recommend!!!!

We were a group of three families with young kids and this house was the perfect size. The fact that every room was a suite was AMAZING! The community pool and playground, along with the game room in the basement, kept our kids well entertained.
4.0 / 5.0
The house is nice. In fact, with a few minor fixes, it would be excellent. However, the amenities advertised weren't there (no ping pong or shuffleboard at the house, no firepit at comm. center.) No notice was given even after we paid. Only found out because we specifically asked about them just before we stayed.
Minor things like teeny bath mats, teeny tub stoppers that didn't work, not enough towels. Owner paid more in lost hot water from kids' baths than decent stoppers would cost.
Worst thing was that the lock on the door deactivated our code 15 mins before we were to be out. Nearly left us with a phone locked in the house. I did lose a thermal cup that I planned to go back in for. That could have been a big deal. No excuse for the lock deactivating early.
Overall, it was a good stay but not exactly what we signed up for. Verify before you pay on actual amenities. Plan to get your stuff out early.

The overall experience was great! Plenty of space! The kids enjoyed the game room, not far from the pool, and all the kitchen essentials we needed! Only downside was the hill parking but we live in flat Illinois, haha! 10/10 will come back and recommend!!

The house was well stocked as far as kitchen items and accessories for little ones. The foosball and ping pong tables were great fun for all. It would be nice to have more towels and toilet paper. A house full of people use both. We had to wash towels fairly often and by the end of the stay, we had to buy some TP. There was some expected wear and tear on the house, but our stay was not affected. The parking situation was mentioned in the listing and was indeed 1st come - 1st serve and the hill is incredibly steep. The common area playground was under construction. I don't believe that was mentioned in the listing. Plus, the playground area had building materials not sectioned off which seemed hazardous. It would be nice to have a day bed with a trundle in the basement area rather than the hassle and uncomfortableness of pull-out couches. Our group enjoyed our time together at this location. And Silver Dollar City is so very close! :-)
4.0 / 5.0
Location, nice, but 4x4 would be real nice. Oil slick on kitchen floor and entry, dangerous! Had to mop up the oil. Bath towels, clean, but severely stained. Scatter rugs, well, scattered. Light bulbs burned out many locations, up stairs bath tub was caulked by a 2 year old. Other than those minor defects, Nice House! Enjoyed our stay, but, would pick another house not so far down the mountain!
4.0 / 5.0
The gals in our girl group are pretty spoilt and like lots of room and space for our own. This house granted lots of it. We each had our own bed and bath and it was great. Good location but be a ware that the parking can be a bit tricky. Not a fault of the home owner but the neighbor hood is very hilly and turn around areas are tight. Looking at it for our family trip to Table Rock next year...will be great for our large family.
4.0 / 5.0
The house was big enough for all of us. There were some issues we had to deal with. The furnace filters were filthy, I suggest they get changed. Light bulbs were burned out in the shower areas of 2 bathrooms. The jets in the bathroom where the washer and dryer are, definitely needs to be checked! We had to unclog the drain in one of the upstairs bathrooms. The house in general needs a deep cleaning!

family outing
Our family of 10 brought 3 vehicles. Parallel parking on side of narrow road with only space for 2.
One bed was not made and the sheets and pillows laying in floor.
Temps outside around 95 on first day, 75 inside with thermostat set on 72. Bottom floor no air at all. Thank goodness cool front came thru and dropped temps.
Long uphill walk to pool.
Wasnt terrible, but for what we paid, not worth it

Fantastic Family Vacation
The house was beautiful! It was the perfect place for my family to stay. We had 9 adults and 2 kids. The basement was a great area for everyone. The house is so close to so many fun activities. Thank you for allowing us to stay and create memories.

Youth Retreat
The property was perfect for our church youth group retreat! It was just a minute or 2 from SDC. Plenty of comfortable sleeping and bedding for everyone and the game room was a hit! Highly recommend this place for a family getaway or retreat!

Enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was nice and accommodated our whole family with plenty of room. My only draw back was the parking.

Great family property
The property offered everything that our large group needed. Accommodations, location, rooms and space were great! Communication was good. We had a few issues, and was able to contact our representative to have most issues resolved. Parking is terrible. Property is on a steep hill, with no allocated parking per property. Was only told that it was first come, first served. We were a party of 4 generations, and this was an inconvenience for us.

Vacation 2021
The cleaning staff was very friendly and thorough. We arrive a little early and the property manager kindly allowed us in a little early. The pool is great for kids and adults! This property had lots for our kids to do rain or shine.

Very responsive to our questions- Shawnee and Ricky from the maintenance team are amazing people!
We had 19 people in this cabin for three nights. having three levels really helped so we could all spread out. The place was immaculate

Everything was great other than parking. I wouldn't stay there again due to the parking issue.

Family vacation
This was a great house! We were a family of 8 adults and 3 children, and we had plenty of room. We prepared and ate most of our meals at the house, and all our needs we met in the kitchen. The bedrooms were spacious and the closets had hangers! The house and bathrooms were very clean, and offered hotel amenities. We really enjoyed the game room and the screened in back deck with grill. We were a little early for the pool, but it is a beautiful pool area. We would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Branson.
I would also mention that the home is under new ownership, and many of the issues mentioned in previous reviews have been addressed.

Great Place to stay! Great location
We had a great stay. It offered plenty of space for our entire family to stay and have their own space. We would definitely stay again.
2.0 / 5.0
This cabin was very nice and spacious. We had a group of 16 (6 adults and 10 children ranging from 5-12) and everyone had a great time with plenty to do! The game room had lots of things to keep the kids entertained when we were stuck inside due to rain everyday we were there. We LOVED that each of the 4 master rooms had its own bathroom! There were a few things that would have made a world of difference for us...-there was nowhere near enough linens for the amount of people this cabin claims to accommodate. There were a total of 10 towels (2 in each bathroom) and even though there was plenty of storage space to house extra linen, there was nothing. Along with no extra towels, there were no blankets and no bedding for the pull out beds. With little kids and cold rainy weather, comforters or blankets are necessary. -when we travel together, we always get lots of groceries and cook most every meal. The oven is almost non functional if you plan to use it for anything other than warming. We learned the hard way that it wouldn’t heat to any desired temp. We ended up setting it to 500 just to get it warm enough to heat up dinner rolls. -the kitchen is NOT stocked at all. We have visited many Vrbo properties and they are typically stocked closer to a home kitchen, with all the basics one needs to cook or bake with. This isn’t a deal breaker, but if you plan on using the kitchen to cook meals in, it’s good to know what you’ll be dealing with.-something that isn’t a problem fixable by the owners, but we wished we would have been made aware is that there is no parking. You have to park on the side of the road in front of the property and if there are more than 2-3 vehicles, you would have to find somewhere off site to park. I want to make sure and say that we had a great time at this cabin and appreciated the details listed above. We would gladly stay here again, I just wanted to list some things that I saw had been addressed in other reviews but seem to still be an issue (the oven and lack of kitchen utensils and the lack of towels and linens).

Short family trip between Christmas and New Years
Easy check in and out. Quick response from management with heater question I had and pleasant place to stay for a cold time of year. Just 5 minutes from town but still very peaceful.

Property was nice. We enjoyed it being so close to Silver Dollar City. We had a slight problem with heat and the property manager took care of it right away and was very friendly. WiFi was a problem if anyone is planning on working from the cabin with it.

Beautiful Fall Setting with Lots of Space
We were in town for a wedding and had 9 of staying there. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The game room made for a fun filled evening. We enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch, use of the Jacuzzi tubs and the fireplace. The only suggestion, if staying in cooler weather would be to bring an extra blanket. The home did not have extra blankets for the bed, and the bedding was thin, So everyone was cold at night. Otherwise fantastic experience!!!

Great location and plenty of room for all 10 of us and more than we needed. Thank you for shampoo, soap and paper products. Enjoyed the porch and grill. Community center and trash crew were great. Linens were stained, did not stay on mattresses, and looked dirty; not enough towels for us without washing at least 3 times daily. Washing machine and dryer are way too small for 10 much less 18!!!! There were some kind of animals running in the attic every night. Jetted tubs were pretty gross, as far as cleanliness around the jets. Definitely would not have bathed in the bathtub. Game room was wonderful and it was fantastic family fun. Overall we had fun, enjoyed hiking, parks and shows!

Branson Cabin
Overall, our stay was excellent. The only issues we had were: A pair of socks in one bed when we turned down the covers. Kitchen lacking turning spatulas. Raccoons tore screen on deck to get to trash. When I spoke with the property manager, I felt he remanded me for "not reading the signs". There was a sign on the deck which said: Raccoon Crossing". It appeared to be just another decor item - not something we would look closely at (which you have to do in order to read the clear label with red lettering affixed to the image of the raccoon). After talking to him, we looked for other signs, as he said they were posted in several places in the cabin. The only other "sign" was what appeared to be a framed "saying" or "poem" on the dining room wall, which addressed the trash/raccoon issue. It would be SO helpful if this issue was addressed in the correspondence from the owner, the manager, and with VrBO. Simply mentioning that trash should be kept inside the house and only put out in the morning due to the raccoon issue would alert renters. It might be a good idea to include in the "house rules" as well. At home, we don't keep trash in the house overnight - it's our common habit to take it to the garbage bin before turning in for the night. So putting the garbage out at night seemed a universal thing to do. The first night we put it in the trash bin - next day it was strewn all over, and we had to clean it up. The next night we put it on the screened deck - same thing! We had no idea that raccoons would tear through screening! Not an issue for us now, and the manager said he would take care of the screen - just a suggestion that it be included in your literature/correspondence, and in my opinion addressing it in the house rules would be the best place. Thanks for a great stay, otherwise. The house was rustic but roomy, and the kids/teens loved the games in the basement! Very convenient location. Parking not good - but we knew the parking situation when we rented. We will stay with you again! (If you'll put a spatula in the kitchen). Ha.

Perfect location for Table Rock Lake and Branson fun!
Wonderful property! Perfect for your entire family young and old. This house was very nice and has everything you would want - game room, stocked kitchen, screened in porch, grill, 5 master bedrooms, and the pool on the property was fun!

Everything was pretty good. One area that can be improved on is to develope a better trash system to prevent racoons from spreading the trash out every night.

Ok Stay
Neg: Not the best we’ve stayed in. We had two pretty big spiders in our bedding in two different bedrooms on main floor and upstairs. Bathtub in upstairs wasn’t clean. Just looked like the cabin had not been occupied in awhile and wasn’t sprayed for bugs or wiped down before renting. The road in front is steep!! No place to park except on the side of the road. Other cabin renters were parking in our spaces and had to ask them to move to be able to park.
POS: Size of cabin is wonderful. Stocked well for our needs. Beds were comfortable. Everything as far as maintenance was good.
