My family spent a few days at Juanita. We rented the whole place and it couldn’t have been a more comfortable place to be. Everything is well maintained and the Milko and Juanita were so helpful and friendly. It’s a great location - close to the beach and a ten minute walk to the restaurants and town square.

After isolating for 2 years during the pandemic, my husband and I decided it was time to get back to living again. I found Casa Juanita online and the reviews were very positive so we booked it for 2 weeks. It was fantastic. Our unit was perfect for the 2 of us. We were able to cook breakfast and a few dinners in the kitchenette. We walked on the beach every day. It was only a 2 or 3 minute walk from the unit to the beach and about a 15 minute walk to the town square where we went to buy groceries or eat at one of the many restaurants. The owners, Milko and Juanita, were so friendly and kind and by the time we left, we wanted to adopt them. They made us feel so welcome and took such good care of us. When our flight home was delayed for 2 days because of severe weather conditions at home, Milko came through for us and we were able to stay in our unit until we headed home 2 days later. When I wasn't feeling well, he brought mint and chamomile tea to help with my upset stomach. They were so friendly and went above and beyond on their service and care. We also loved the Mexican decor in the unit and found it to be cozier and more like home. The pool was perfect for a quick dip after a day at the beach and the flowers hanging on the garden wall were incredible. We have already booked the two units at Casa Izamal for a month in 2023 and will be there with my husband's brother and his wife. We are all counting down the days and looking forward to seeing our wonderful hosts again. GRACIAS Milko and Juanita!

We had a great stay at Juanita #2. The condo owner attended to every detail. The condo was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area was a beautiful and quiet oasis. Provided beach chairs to take to the beach about a block away. Town is about a 15 minute walk but we had bikes and it was perfect.

Casa Jaunita was a great little apartment only a block and a half you the beach. Everything you need is there and Milko is always around to get you anything extra you may need. Even comes with its own Netflix. The best part was waking up and having breakfast on our private garden patio just off the bedroom and walking out the front door where the pool is right there. Benjamin is the grounds keeper and always available to help with anything you may need. Lupita and her daughter help to keep your apartment fresh and clean. Service is daily if you wish. Next door at Abbey you can get your laundry done for $100 pesos with same day service so no need to bring so many clothes. You can't go wrong with this property.

We loved staying at Juanita 2 for seven nights Jan 20-27. The only disappointment was that no one told us the bikes were not available so I was embarrassed when I signed out for two and was later told that was not allowed. We simply misunderstood and didn't appreciate the different rules for different properties. I would love it if a few bikes were available for Juanita residents too!

The place is an apartment in a small building with other apartments around it and a shared cool pool. There was also a hammock for each place. We spent only one night there, but everything was great. Staff was extremely kind and helpful, and the strip of the beach close to the property is beautiful! It is a 15-min walk from the small center of Puerto Morellos, we regretted not to have rented bikes to go there (there are no restaurants close to Casa Juanita).

Upon Arrival, I was immediately received like part of a family. Milko took me over to my suite and explained how everything worked, the safe, tv, garbage, laundry,etc.
My suite was adorable decorated in pretty Mexican tiles, it was spacious and spotless. Being one of four suites, I soon made friends with the other guests, my neighbours who couldn't have been nicer.
Favourite times were having my breakfast on the private terrace listening to the birds. The pool area was very pretty with flowers growing in the garden, supplied with very comfortable lounge chairs. One could be at the beach all day yet a swim in the pool was most refreshing.
Porto Morelos was well equipped with many excellent restaurants,a language and a cooking school. I enjoyed taking lessons at both.
Everyone was so friendly but I really appreciated the kindness of the staff at Abbey Del Sol. It was the best solo vacation ever, looking forward to going back in 2017.

Our original accommodations at a different hotel were terrible and we were SO lucky to find that Casa Juanita had openings for the last few days of our trip. Wished we could have spent the whole week there. The management company and owner went out of their way to get us situated as quickly as possible. The apartment was clean and well appointed. It would be easy to spend weeks in this location. About 2 blocks from a clean beach - a quick and easy walk. About a mile from the center of town - easy to reach the restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend. The only minor negative - the bathroom was very, very small and the mirror above the sink was too high for me to see my whole face. The water in the shower was a little tricky to keep at a constant temperature. A quirk, but not a deal breaker!

My husband and I staid in Casa Juanita #2. This property is superb. Apartment #2 is on the ground floor just a few steps away from the pool which we enjoyed immensely. Casa Juanita is also close to the beach. A taxi to go to the little town of Puerto Morelos cost only $25 pesos or $30 pesos to the super market (about $2 to $2.50 CDM ). Owner was very helpful and pleasant. The apartment is well furnished, the bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is very well equiped. We were able to cook and enjoy several meals at the apartment. We appreciated the fact that there are celling fans in every rooms so we did not have to use the air conditioning. We could enjoyed the fresh air and when it was to hot we just jumped in the pool.Staying at Casa Juanita made our visit to Puerto Morelos very restful, relaxing and enjoyable. We will go back.
