Fantastic place in the heart of the Mountain Norway

Everything was excellent! Welcoming us at the reception, a luxorious family room with a balcony and a lake view, the location of the hotel.. Dreaming to come again.

Stunning!

This location is absolutely stunning. So peaceful and relaxing look out at the water and mountains. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were staying in August and I really hope we can come back to visit in Winter to see the transformation.

Some of the fittings (venetian blinds) around the room could have been updated/maintained, and there was coffee and tea in the room but no milk. In my books this is not a huge problem at all especially given the view and that we were there for one night. Breakfast had a plentiful spread and heaps of coffee and milk anyway :-).

Superb

Enormous living room. Well equipped kitchen. Wish I had stopped longer. Stayed 9 years ago and it still looks new so someone puts real effort in.

Food was limited but you do have your own kitchen.

Beautiful view, no WiFi

Friendly, helpful staff in reception. Clean apartment with a lovely view. Tasty pizza from the restaurant

The lounge was very dark- no overhead or wall lighting at all, just a couple of reading lamps. Terrible wifi The bunk bedroom was very small and the bottom of the bunk bed was not really suitable for adults. Basic kitchen with minimal equipment.

A good stay for the weekend

The staff is great and the place is equipped with all you can need for a short stay. It is very clean and well organized.

Good breakfast Nice room with a very nice view It provides quite a lot of things and it's quite good for long stays: Enough space, kitchenette. Good location, right next to Roldal and the ski center. Also Odda and Hardangerfjorden can be reach quite quickly by car. Free parking

Could have better shades and the ones in the bedroom were quite hard to reach and handle.

Comfortable, beautiful views, functional and enjoyable

The location is beautiful it's Roldal even on a rainy day. The hotel reception,restaurant,bar area is cosy, that's because the hotel space is used to provide small suites. The suite had a view to die for, nice kitchen area and lounge with balcony and very clean. The bedroom is small but separate and functional. Breakfast was good self service with a wide choice of cereals, fruit, bread, eggs. As this is COVID time and a rainy weekend it was very quite but would definitely go again.

Nothing really this is a functional hotel for the wintertime skiing,walking, fishing etc. but to a high standard.

Hotel is well located. Staff is absolutely brilliant, we have arrived late night for check-in, dinner was provided and as we had to leave early, breakfast was also provided in advance. Most likely you can find other places to stay but I doubt it will be as friendly and flexible as this one.
