Tasman Terrace is apartment-style accommodation which has been purpose built for the comfort and relaxation of couples and families in mind. Enjoy spectacular views of Seal Rock and the Nobbies, from your own private balcony. Winter or summer, Tasman Terrace is the perfect getaway for one or two couples or a family ( see note below*).

Situated on the Mornington Peninsula, this Somers holiday accommodation is a 2 bedroom, holiday apartment, set in a spacious garden overlooking Westernport Bay and Phillip Island.

It has a fully equipped kitchen, gas log fire, air conditioning, bathroom with spa bath, barbecue, outdoor eating area with bay view, one king-bed that can become 2 king singles, one queen bed and a washing machine.

Both bedrooms have their own TV set and the king size bedroom has its own walk-in robe.
Quality linen and towels supplied and replaced weekly.

Off street parking for 2 cars. Room for boat storage as well. Plenty of grassed area for backyard games.

It is only a short 3 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute pleasant stroll to the local Somers Store for an early morning coffee, breakfast or lunch.

After a day at the beach, or visiting one of the many local attractions the Peninsula has to offer, come home to a relaxing spa bath and enjoy a quiet evening on the balcony watching the ever changing colours of the sea.

You can enjoy the abundant bird life and you may even get to meet one of the local koalas as they have been known to stroll lazily through the property as they move from tree to tree around Somers.

Only 1 Hour from Melbourne CBD, Somers has so much to offer for couples wanting a relaxed or active holiday experience. If you love bush walks with spectacular views of the bay, swimming , golf, fishing, sailing, horse riding or visiting local markets and wineries, Somers is a great place to stay.

This gorgeous place was a holiday we would definitely go back to. The pictures do not give it justice. Not only is the view spectacular the unit was extremely clean. Everything you needed was there, there was no noise,just the sound of the waves crashing. The couch and chairs are so comfy, and so is the bed. There is plenty of room to move around. They provide tea coffee and other small items we might need PERFECT. There was only one issue the fireplace kept turning off. We truly hope we get to go back to this delightful holiday stay again and again to recharge the batteries. Thank you so much for sharing your little bit of paradise with us.

Quite getaway with sisters in law. Very peaceful, close to the beach and lovely views. The unit was fantastic and the hosts were very accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful and relaxing location to spend a weekend away with our son and partner while visiting them in Melbourne. Great views and very comfortable living space with easy access to the beach for walks in either direction. Enjoyed exploring the peninsular, especially the monthly community market at Red Hill, Pt Leo winery, St Andrews Beach Brewery and beaches at Flinders and Safety Beach. Our hosts Brenda and Janus were both very welcoming and helpful. Will hopefully return on our next visit to Australia.

A very pleasant surprise when you round to corner to the back of the property and realise that the view is all yours to enjoy. Also the family of magpies were a delight. So friendly and entertaining. Thankyou Janus & Brenda

The accommodation has great views. Very comfortable. Two excellent bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Everything from bed linen to toiletries was top notch, but the best part is the hosts. Both Brenda and Janus made suite that our stay was perfect. The day we reached there, it was raining and before we knew Janus came with three umbrellas. You cant beat that kind of hospitality. Thanks!

This was a great place in a top location (ocean side of the peninsula rather than bayside). Adjacent to Red Hill wineries, Merricks & Balnarring and within easy reach of Sorrento & Peninsula Hot Springs. We knew our hosts were nearby if required but didn't catch a glimpse in our 3 days. Would stay here again in a flash.

This property was perfect and affordable for a short break away. It delivered everything I was after, ocean views, clean, affordable, short drive out of the city. Absolutely perfect. Our hosts were wonderful. Friendly, hospitable, welcoming, flexible, helpful. Highly recommend this property and will definitely be back again. Hopefully soon.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay here for two nights, while our son was at Lord Somers for school camp. Beach is nice & close, but the views & fireplace allowed us to unwind without leaving the accommodation when it rained. Wifi was excellent as husband was working. Somers General Store is nice & close. Balnarring was a short distance away for all our needs. Janus & Brenda are amazing hosts with prompt replies & very accommodating with last minute requests. Thank you for having us.

Awesome property. Wonderful view across to Phillip Is. Great walks from here via the beach or along board walk in seaside bush. Quiet, no touristy crouds. Everything you could possibly need is provided.

Well-equipped apartment with all the mod cons. Walking distance to beach and a scenic cliff top walk to General Store for coffee and brunch. Very comfortable king size bed. We will definitely be returning here.

The owners were wonderful and friendly. To deal with. The accomodation was spotless with little touches of thoughtfulness. Lovely shampoo, chocolates, hot chocolate etc, etc. Best of all were the most comfortable bed I've slept on and the divine warm gas fire . Perfection.
