The property was within the national park but still far to commute to the lakes without a taxi which cost €15, it was clean and dinner was delicious.
The children were noisy outside the room and in the garden affecting guest feelings of relaxation.

The perfect place for a getaway. This is one of those places perfect for a excellent rest and relaxing. They have all the elements: The color design, the decorative selection, the bed in the room and the fact that is close to nature and not in a main street. Additionally, nice backyard with open restaurant and friendly host super close to the entrance to the park 15 minutes walking

Great Location, excellent communication on check in. Helpful, friendly staff. Delicious home cooked meals provided on request and substantial breakfast also provided.
Some tea and coffee facilities and maybe a little bar fridge could be handy. We were up early to head into the park and couldn’t get a tea or coffee.

Lovely room, very clean and homely. Also a massive thank you to the hosts for their laundry service, they helped us a lot and catered to our requests. Perfect location from the lakes too, a 15 minute walk through some lovely woods gets you there easily.

The rooms are a little on the small side, but everything is new like and modern. We had the meat grill mix and fish and the platter was amazing, one of the best dinners we had on our trip! its very close to the national park entrance

Nice location and very nice staff.
Because the weather was very hot an air conditioning in the room would have been perfect. And for the breakfast few more options like vegetables maybe, would have perfect.

The family room was good and cozy, with comfortable beds and one small bathroom. The host was very kind and helpful with our needs. He set the sauna for us, and we used the hydromassage with an amazing view on the garden and mountains. The location was great, in the heart of the Plivitce Park. There was a large public car parking in front of the house.

Villa Mukinja is a lovely place located in close proximity to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The host prepares a fresh dinner for the guests in the evening and the food was exceptional. Rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean. The entrance to the Plitvice is a quick 15 minute walk from the hotel, so we didn't have to worry about parking at the park and we had a safe place to store our luggage for the day's hikes. I hope to return to this region of Croatia for more hiking and exploration. When we return, The Villa Mukinja will be our home base.

Everything about our stay here was lovely. The location is a short drive to entrance 2 of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, the rooms and bathrooms were clean, and we were told the dinner options when we checked in. The food was delicious - a set 4 course meal with some options for the main entrée. My husband and I also used the sauna, which is reserved for 1 party at a time making such a nice, calm experience. The owner of the property works hard to ensure all of the guests have a great stay, and he definitely succeeded in our case.
Nothing - every amenity was as listed. The restaurant on site is not a traditional restaurant in that it’s open at set times, you instead let the host know when you’d like to eat and the meal is prepared for that time.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mukinja. The host and his family were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Due to the weather conditions, we arrived late and they still took the time to prepare a delicious traditional dinner for us. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cot for our son. We highly recommend it!

The host is a great person, cooked very well for us and made us feel very welcome. The place is very close to the National park main entrance 2 and 1. Perfect location, very clean and absolutely worth the money.

Cozy, traditional and comfortable
Stairs are a bit tricky for older people, dinner menu could be more varied

Tihomir (the owner) was very friendly. The food was very good and delicious. We felt ourselves very well.

The hotel is well situated and a short walk to Entrance 2 to the park. It's actually about as close to walk from the hotel as it is from the parking area in the park. The rooms, while simple, were spotless and well kept. While we didn't end up using them, the sauna a hot tub were great extra amenities to have available at the property. Breakfast was generally about what you'd expect in Europe for a hotel.

The staff are excellent. The manager even let us store our luggage after checking out and let us take a shower at the sauna room after walking the lower lakes area. Very pleasant stay. I will stay here again.

Very good location, only 15 minutes walk to the National Park. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He tried to make our stay as good as possible. Answered all our questions and made recommendations when asked. Very welcoming, flexible and understanding of families with small children. Breakfast and 4 course dinner is a very good value for money and has local dishes with local ingredients (Basa cheese is extremely delicious 😋)
There could be a movable wall to separate the jacuzzi and the dining area for a little bit more privacy.

Approachable and helpfull host, position very near to the local skying station and restaurant, nice rustically decorated house and a great jacuzzi usable even during snow.
Radiators should be renewed as they are not efficient enough.

The owner was absolutely wonderful! He made sure to make our stay as enjoyable as possible and was so attentive to everything. Every part about our stay exceeded our expectations and the hotel was the best part about our stay in Plitvička Jezera

Bed was comfortable. Has a jacuzzi and sauna.
Angelo (a son of the owners) was very pleasant to talk to. We spent a good hour and a half chatting to him while we drank some wine waiting for the jacuzzi to heat up a bit.
The property is about a 15 min walk to the lakes (the owner is also a tour guide which we found out after).
Small things like the dusting in around the windows. The room we were in was basic and dearer compared to other rooms we have stayed in on our travels. Kitchen wasn’t working (Covid issues with regulations etc…) but was able to order from the local restaurant.

The location was great. Only 10 min walk to the entrance 2 of the Plitvice National Park.
When reading the reviews, I got an impression that the breakfast was amazing. But it was pretty basic. No fresh vegetables and very small amount of fruits. So I would not call it “super good”. The most annoying thing was the noise. When we opened the windows, almost constant bad radio music was playing. The walls are thin as paper and every time when people wanted to get in the building, they needed to ring the doorbell, and it was so loud that it felt like someone put an alarm to your ear while you tried to rest or go to bed early after the long hiking day. It’s a pity. It could be a nice and calm place when checking the surroundings, but we didn’t want to spend to much time at accommodation.
