Lovely stay, good value for money.

We were welcomed immediately when we came to the property. The staff offered us immediately some welcome drinks and towel to freshen up. Daniel was very kind and welcoming. He showed us our room and was very friendly and polite, real 5+ star staff. All of the staff of this hotel are friendly and they always greet us with smiles. The location is really nice, its near the beach and also at the Kata market. Very well situated but also gives the privacy feel for its guests. Our room was beautiful and it was big enough for us two. Breakfast option was limited but also nice. Pity I couldn’t have the breakfast in our room cos they say we don’t have a table, even though I asked if we can have the basket for the floating. Just this small thing - could have added more to our stay. Overall it was a great stay and wonderful property. We’ll definitely come back and stay there again.

We had an issue with stuck drainage and a bit of water coming out of the toilet floor due to the blockage. Also, the door towards the private pool doesnt really close well which allows mosquitoes to come into our room. Just make sure to spray the room before going to bed and closing the door to the bathroom.

Perfect.

It felt like absolute luxury. Loved having my own pool and an open loving dining kitchen area.

Shame about the mosquitoes. Putting citronella plants around the accomodation can help with that.

素晴らしいお部屋と素晴らしいスタッフ。スタッフの笑顔と丁寧な挨拶、細やかな気遣いなどとても気持ちよく過ごせました。お部屋もプライベートプールを含めてとても快適で気持ちのいい空間でした。カタエリアも、パトンと比べて落ち着いており雰囲気がとても良かったので是非次はもう少し長いスパンで滞在してみたいです。

ホテル周辺はお店が少なめなので、レストランやビーチまでは少し歩きます。

Stop searching. Malisa is the place!!

Greatly located in KATA BEACH you can find a really great hotel and it's cool.. But there are REAL humans there like Mike n Bon and the rest of the team caring of you and making the greatest experience as a guest. They will help you with all you need. We was tired and our room was ready before check-in time. I been to many hotels in Thailand and people like them make the difference. We coming from Metadee Concept hotel that is very near where the team was trying to cheat us. Malisa team is absolutelly different. The Villas are amazing including all that you need. Mosquito's doesn't disturb you even with the pool inside the Villa..

Just leave this great place where we'll be back for sure 🙏

great staff, disappointing condition and location

the staff were friendly and the breakfast was brilliant. breakfast there is a menu to select one item from and the portions were massive and tasted very nice. There was also a large buffet selection you could help yourself to. Fresh tea and coffee was available upon request.

Location is quiet and down a back street. General condition of the hotel is poor. our pool but it wasn’t in the cleanest condition with debris at the bottom and leaves floating on the surface. On the first evening after check-in, I was walking around the villa and caught the bottom of my foot on a sharp part of the wooden floor. I did advise the staff the next morning on our way out for the day and it was fixed by the time we returned. However the injury did cause pain and irritation for the remainder of the holiday as it was on the bottom of my foot. Upon returning from our first day out we found that our room had been cleaned but they had removed our dirty towels and not replaced them with new. I had to contact reception to request fresh ones. They had also turned off the air-con that we had left on to ensure the room was cool when we returned. The following day I decided to have a bath to sooth my sun burn and found that the tap to the bath was broken and there was just a small stick pointing out for me to use to control the temp and flow. We also realised that we were lucky enough to have booked a villa with a pool, as the hotel does not have a communal one and not all villas have there own.

Superb

The room was as advertised and offered plenty of room to relax, however you could not sunbathe as the sun was on the other side of the complex. The complimentary snacks and waters are replenished every day, however oddly if the water bottle was open and partially used it was not replaced with a new one.

The pool had missing tiles around the drain and the decking needs attention it seems there has not been enough money to keep maintenance up. Sadly a lot of the small shops around the hotel have closed due to Covid which has had a negative impact. The wifi is very poor and intermittent which meant I could not work as planned.

Amazing place, the staff are the heart and got the extra mile to ensure your stay is everything you want it to be.

Each villa feels very private. Beautifully laid out and as pictured. The staff are simply amazing. Everyone seemed to remember who we were and what room we were in. They were incredibly friendly and always helpful. like most of Thailand there are a lot of mosquitos. The staff light a mosquito coil in the outside space every day and there is a complimentary mosquito spray in every room, which is a nice touch. We had a really lovely time here and would definitely go back again.

Lovely modern villas for a relaxing stay!

The room was very modern, spacious and clean when we arrived. The staff were awesome and accommodated us if the pool needed cleaning to remove the leaves. Evening service to light mosquito coils was super handy but I would recommend to wear repellent often while in Kata as there are a lot of mosquitos in general, not just at the villas. Good continental buffet breakfast and the choice of an A la carte breakfast which was always very filling plus the best coffee I had while in Thailand. Easy walk to restaurants and Kata Beach (although was super busy). Overall a great relaxing stay and awesome staff, thanks for having us.

1. We didn't like that the hotel taxi service to the airport was 800 baht more than the meter taxi. We took a meter taxi both ways. 2. I had two books that I was leaving and they would not let me swap them for a book in their collection.

Nice place, great staff - make sure you request an updated villa

The staff were great and location is really useful. The overall impression of the hotel and experience was a positive one. This is a good, comfortable base to relax in when you dont want to head out

Our stay was good and I would stay here again, but if we were to stay again we would want to be assured of the following: We hired the double villa (2 couples and an infant) but it was only really set up for two adults - two sets of plates, cups, etc (rectified when highlighted to staff) and only two loungers for the pool - we would want additional outdoor furniture. Improvement works were being carried out elsewhere but our villa (1406) was tired and, in some cases, in real need of update: cracked mirrors, rotten decking in paces, poorly installed oven, wifi dropping out, rotten loungers (one broke during our stay and was swapped out with another tired looking, dirty lounger from storage). We did not complain and overall the villa was lovely but I dont think it is good enough for the amount charged My stay was soured a little by a 100 baht charge and the end of my stay for a chipped bottle. I am happy to pay the small charge but in the grand scheme of things I was disappointed to receive it due the condition of the villa and the things we quietly accommodated. It felt a bit unfair

Comfort and Luxury in Kata Beach

Luxury villa. Very spacious room, with very comfortable beds. Lovely outdoor living room in front of the private swimming pool. The bathroom was great. The breakfast quality is good. It is not a full buffet: you have to choose one option a la carte and then you have buffet for fruit, yogurt, bread and croissants. Enough for our needs. Very good coffee

the water pressure in the shower is not very good the swimming pool in our villa doesn't get any sunlight, so if you want to get tanned you need to go outside (beach, 6min walking).

Great staff, bad rooms

We were given an old pool villa where the pool was yellow, and the rooms old and rusty. At £450 ($550) a night, this is crazy to be charging for such old and worn out rooms. The facilities were not 5 stars. Luckily the amazing front of house staff Daniel and the rest managed to sort us out with a slightly better room. The place is run and alive due to its amazing staff, not the actual rooms and facilities. You can get much better 5 star hotels in Phuket for the same price.

The pools are unusable, they don’t really have a filter system and full of debris, insect and leaves. They should be cleaned everyday.

bad experience due to COVID-19 pandemic

the villa had a nice privacy there is private pool good front desk help the staff are friendly and welcoming

the villa overall is overused and needs to be renewed the jacuzzi had ants and a lizard when we arrived there the hot water is very slow in flow in both jacuzzi and shower the area of the hotel is literally dead you have to go to Patong beach for food and activities
