Idylle weg vom Tourismus

Tolle Anlage mit grosszügigem Poolbereich. Supper Restaurant, wenn man mal nicht nach Syrakus fahren will.

Von hier muss man immer das Auto nehmen, zu Fuss geht da gar nichts. Die Elektrik ist mehr ein Gebastel als Professionell, deshalb hat unser Fernseher nur funktioniert, wenn man alle Anschlüsse kontrolliert hat.

Perfect for a relaxing stay near to Syracusa.

2 Pools with lots of room and shade as it was very hot while we were there. The restaurant served superb food and we ate there both nights. The grounds are a picture - manicured grass and beautiful trees. You cannot go wrong staying here.

The pool area is lovely. The breakfast is also excellent.

Unfortunately the description of the facilities/services on booking.com isn't accurate - there is no free shuttle service to the local beaches. We enquired about this on arrival and they advised they don't provide this service. As such, you definitely need a car if you want to use this as a base to explore Syracuse and around (taxi's are pricey). I was looking forward to using the spa at the hotel and was surprised that there was a charge to use the jacuzzi or sauna. I would (of course) expect to pay extra for treatments but would usually expect use of a jacuzzi or sauna to be complimentary. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and the dinner was lovely but the service was very slow as there was only one member of staff serving all of the tables and running the bar. This seemed unnecessary when there were 2 members of staff sitting in the reception area chatting.

the location. rooms next to private residences that leave dogs out all night. the constant barking and snarling made it impossible to sleep. the beds were hard. limited menu. breakfast limited. very basic and you need a car!

The hotel is situated just outside Syracuse in lovely gardens and was very peaceful.

Breakfast was wonderful, the staff were great, the pool area lovely, but a little too cold in April.

The evening meal could have been better. The panna Cotta was awful. The Spa area was quite expensive to use.

Not quite the level it wants to be but still a lovely hotel.

Beautiful setting, nice and friendly staff, two gorgeous pools, fabulous spa treatments, relaxing atmosphere, lovely breakfast and varied dinner menu.

Lack of lighting options in our room, room 1. Generator type of noise in the background of our room as it was above the kitchen, it made it hard to sleep. Bed large but very hard. Restaurant was lovely but my food, steak and baked potato was served cold on a cold plate and felt we were rushed. Three courses served all in under an hour. Mains were served before our starters cleared and no cutlery to start with for the second course. A few small changes would really improve the experience and make it the perfect place to stay. I did feedback to the reception team and they were happy to take my criticism but it didn’t spoil things overall.

Beautiful oasis a short drive away from Syracuse.

We had an amazing experience from the moment we arrived through the impressive tree lined driveway into a beautiful oasis of palm trees. The staff are wonderful. Our room was great - we got upgraded as we were on our honeymoon which was a lovely touch. The pools are great, with comfortable pool side loungers, and a bar with a great cocktail list (very strong negronis!) Breakfast was an incredible spread which we looked foreward to every day. We also had dinner here which was delicious, particularly the wines. We had an incredible massage at the spa also. Loved it, thank you. There is a dog running around too which we liked.

We loved it all! If you are looking for more entertainment, then perhaps look elsewhere (e.g. a game rooms, pool table etc.) but we were happy to lie around and relax. We also didn't love the lighting in our room (they look like snakes haha but kind of cool too...)

The staff was super accomodating and friendly. Went out of their ways to please. Breakfast and dinner were varied and excellent. Fresh fruit and home made gluten free pancakes for my wife who is gluten intolerant

Location 7 kms from town was a challenge at first but changed to an opportunity toenjoy the quiet countryside feeling of a resort. Managers Luisa and Giovanni and their staff positive attitude and problem solving initiative made each day a cherished adventure

The pool was one of the best . Beautiful setting Tranquil gardens. Everything you possibly need Staff were so helpful , charming . Gave us lots of helpful information about the area . And a very warm welcome. Good food in the restaurant and great wine Fabulous.

+ The rooms are spacious, includes all the amenities and are exquisitely designed + The staffs provided the best service, not even seen in 5 star hotels. Every single staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Special thanks for the beautiful and kind lady who welcomed us and helped us with the requests, the friendly gentleman at the pool and the amazing lady who is in charge of the food. + the breakfast is truly exceptional, such high quality food with so many choices and changes everyday. + the swimming pool is large and comfortableC we really enjoyed spending time around the pool. The towels are provided. + the garden is pretty + there is a free parking on site + they have a dog Rhone at the hotel, who is very cute

Stunning & tranquil place close enough to Ortega but away enough from all the hustle and bustle. The staff were great! The restaurant serves excellent and genuine food. Definitely recommendable!

All that we expected and more

Very friendly staff who were always ready to accommodate. Breakfast was plentiful and varied with home made fresh food on a daily basis. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Pool area maintained well with a very high standard large deep pool, paddling pool and hydromassage. The whole ambience is very restful. The restaurant serves an exquisite a la carte menu and good choice of wines. A very positive experience throughout.

There wasn't anything we did not like except for a minor detail as the room did not have the garden view as advertised.

Fantastic!

This is a stunning property, with a beautiful and well kept garden. Breakfast is fantastic! Every morning Cettina prepares delicious cakes and savory delicacies which you can have in the peaceful breakfast area. The restaurant is also very good for dinner. My room was very comfortable and spacious, overlooking the beautiful pool. My bathroom was very spacious and very clean. The reception staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The whole staff is great and very attentive.
