Beautiful property, great pool, close enough to walk to town.

The property was immaculate. All staff should be proud of how the hotel was presented. Outstanding!

You could hear noise from neighbouring properties (music) but to be fair I think most of Cala Gonone could hear. Nothing too bad though.

Un’ottima struttura dove rilassarsi ed essere accolti con la massima professionalità e disponibilità.

La gentilezza dello staff è eccezionale e accoglienza super. Stanze grandi e pulite. Il ristorante un’esperienza da provare e il miglior pasto del soggiorno.

La colazione, non all’altezza di un 4 stelle superior. C’erano solo mele e kiwi come frutta fresca e ananas e prugne sciroppate. Alcuni pezzetti di anguria sono stati aggiunti gli ultimi giorni. Mancava un tovagliolo per tagliare la baguette (in modo da non toccarla). Ottima scelta di cereali. Cappuccino e caffè a disposizione degli ospiti tramite le macchinette che si trovano di solito all’estero. Disponibilità di averli “espressi” a pagamento. Peccato che a pranzo non sia disponibile un servizio di light lunch a bordo piscina.

We had an amazing time!!

We loved our stay at Resort Nuraghe Arvu!! Perfect spot for a holiday with family. The pool was great, with the beautiful surroundings. Very close to the beach and lively streets with shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was so nice and very helpful:)

A great resort style hotel, spacious room and facilities, excellent staff.

Eugenio on the front desk is hands down the best concierge I have ever dealt with. Personable, well-informed, highly professional but engaging - he is an absolute asset. Stamps? No problem! Eat like a local - great recommendations Day trip - excellent advice. Whilst this is something of a family resort we found it excellent in its class and we didn't have to fight for space around the lovely pool. We enjoyed our day out on the boat. I would return to this hotel.

Attractive hotel with friendly staff, but a fair walk to the beach.

A very well presented hotel with a nice pool and mountain backdrop. Great breakfast.

It is a fair walk to restaurants and the sea front / beach (mostly up hill on the way back). The on site restaurant was a bit too expensive for dinner.

There was no hot water in my room when I tried to shower my first night there. They tried to fix it, but it wasn't properly fixed. I had to leave the shower running for about 15 minutes every night before it would even get warm in order to shower. EDIT: Response to the hotel's response below. When I notified the night porter of the issue with the hot water, he said he would look into changing a room for me. However, when he checked the room that I would've moved to (the only room he told me that was available for the same amount of nights I was there), he said that the hot water was also not working in that room. So there would've been no point in me moving from a room with no hot water to another room with no hot water. That was the only time I was offered a room change. So I don't think it's fair that they said I didn't accept the offer and "showed only irritation and impoliteness", because this wasn't really an offer - it would've been the same situation! They said they "were quick to try and solve the inconvenience". I said in my original review that they tried to fix it, but it wasn't properly fixed. I had to leave the shower running for about 15 minutes every night before it would get warm to shower. Which is true! I even told them of that, both after it was "fixed" and when I left. I thanked them for the shuttle service. I thanked both the lady at reception who organised it and the driver. That is a complete lie that they said I didn't! I never wrote anything nasty in my review about the staff. I never had an issue with the staff - just the facilities. So I think it's really insulting and unfair they have decided to say such nasty personal things, when I said nothing of the sort. Besides the hot water, I thought all of my interactions with the staff were fine. Their need to stoop so low, LIE, and resort to cattiness is just nasty and spiteful.

Beautiful setting, lovely pool & comfortable room.

Lovely setting, comfortable room with a great balcony & lovely pool. Boat trip organised by the hotel was a fabulous day out.

There wasn't much variety for breakfast, we had the same buffet each day.

All in all very average.

Pool could be better cleaned, pool towels are offered at a charge. Breakfast is ok but also could be a bit better and they should cover better too because there are lots of flies. They offer a baunei cruise trip but weren't able to provide much details about it when their cruise is much more expensive than most other places, felt like they were not interested in selling it. Room is ok but very dated like the hotel in general.

Superb

I was upgraded to a very large room, with a balcony and a view to the ocean. Very nice, clean pool with enough sunbeds. Easy walk to the village. Beautiful beaches. Good breakfast.

The restaurant food was OK, nothing special.

ok if you don’t mind the noise

comfy room, sea view, great pool area with plenty of sun loungers, breakfast was fine

for me, a good hotel means a good night sleep: everything else is a bonus. and while it’s not this hotels fault, the noise (screams, “entertainment” , games etc) coming from the hotel/ camping next door means no rest or quiet until way past midnight which is unacceptable.

Pool area was wonderful and very suited for children. Inside the room it was not possible to hear the loud noise from the near by hotel. some of the staff was very friendly. The boat trip arranged by the hotel was very good and took us the less crowded beaches. It was worth the money.

Super location, really nice pool and simply just a good experience.

Great facilities, super service. We had a fantastic boat trip in the bay with the hotel owned boat.

Would have appreciated some fresh - or at least not synthetic juice for the morning breakfast.

Breakfast was perfect as was the pool and the staff. The building layout made it all very relaxing. We had a room over looking the pool.

Would have liked a games room of some kind. Also had to ask for tea & coffee in the room.

Nice for a couple of nights, not a modern hotel but good for families.

Room size was good and it had a great balcony and sea/ pool view. Was an okay location and walking down to the beach takes about 15 mins, down a big hill. There is free parking which is good. The pool was nice and big and it seemed great for kids.

The whole place feels a bit old, it's dark and woody on the inside. The air-con needed fixing our room, but the hotel staff were quick to help us. Breakfast was poor, they need to update it, it all just felt a bit old-fashioned.

Clean, staff is friendly and helpful (kudos for trying to be everywhere)

Something was not right when we were staying Spent half an hour waiting at reception before we were greeted Arrived after check-in hours, but room was not ready No food for a snack at lunch time, only simple ice cream or crisps are offered Receptionist is only one that was working in entire hotel, no barman to make drinks etc. so receptionist was pouring some drinks, but he said that he can’t make any coctails because he is not barman and the real barman will arrive in 1 hour We spent 2 nights in hotel, but have not seen barman apart receptionist that was doing all-around works Poor breakfast, coffee was very so-so because of old coffee machine
