Stressed

The room was good. And the staff was ok

They checked us a little late but it was fine. They made us pay 200euros instead of 100 for reservation, and told us that they would return it tomorrow but its still not returned. Had problems with conditioner and when we gave them keys to leave for the night they forgot where they put it.

Pas terrible

Pour commencer une nuit avec petit déjeuner j'avais pris, bah il n'existe pas. Il n'y a pas se service dans l'hôtel. Ensuite baignoire trop petite, on dirait une bassine. Mauvaise isolation, le bruit de l'aspirateur le matin horrible, Fenêtre pas isolée. Dans le couloir carrelage qui se décolle, dangereux.

The location was absolutely fantastic. Right in the Plaça de Catalunya, next to a McDonalds. Not hard to find at all, it’s right there with a big sign saying Hotel Monegal in black writing. We were genuinely shocked at how perfect the location was for what we wanted to which was shop, sightseeing, and eat and drink local. It was around a 20 minute walk to L’Arc de Triomf and Parc de Ciutadella. 2 minute to the big shops, a 30 minute walk to the beach if that. Perfect for running also, I did two long runs whilst I stayed (2 nights) and it was the most perfect central location for that!

The stairs. After a long day of walking, that was a killer. But common with European city break hotels. A lift does work but it was slow and only accommodated two people. It really isn’t a necessity!

Good location, bad quality

Location was perfect, close to everywhere. Room was clean.

Room was too small, too hard to move. Too hot, ac was working weak. If you just want to enjoy outside and don’t care room, then it is okay. But if you say room is also important for rest times, then here is not good for you.

Un bon endroit pour un court séjour en el centre de Barcelone

L’emplacement, la chambre était simple mais agréable et éclairée, pas brouillante; bons outils de toilette; le personnel est aimable et donne des informations claires. Les sales de bain étaient propres malgré qu’elles étaient communes

Difficile accès à la chambre, beaucoup d’escaliers et chemin trop de travers; la fumée de la chambre d’à côté et les murs Inter chambres trop perméables aux conversations des autres.

Das Bad war sehr gut ausgestattet, man hatte viel Platz.

Fliesen waren kaputt im Bad und Schlafzimmer, Leicht hellhörig. Vor allem war sehr nervig das jemand mitten in der Nacht Leute schreiend im Gang herum laufen und an unsere Türe geklopft haben.

Lokacija je najbolja u gradu-bukvalno sam centar Barselone. Recepcija radi non stop i jako su ljubazni.

Premale sobe, premali kreveti, cistoca može biti puno bolja ali svakako jako dobar odnos cene i kvaliteta.

Hotel in una posizione perfetta. Peccato delle sue condizioni vecchie .

La vista sulla piazza catalunia e sulla rumbla , sotto la metro e tutte le fermate in piazza catalunia. Il personale alla reception molto educata e disponibile per indicarti su cosa fare. Peccato per la struttura .

Purtroppo la struttura è un po’ datata( per non dire vecchissima)l’aria condizionata praticamente fatta con un condizionatore portatile e essendo inverno fa poco se lo lasci acceso la notte la mattina ti svegli malaticcio e non dormi perché fa un rumore assurdo. Un pinguino per intenderci.

Overall good stay in the city centre

Hotel is in the heart of the city. We had a double bedroom facing Placa Catalunya and was surprised that nothing could be heard from the inside. Staff especially at the reception were very friendly and cleanliness was very up to standard.

Facilities are very limited but considering it is two star one can not expect much more. The only little disruption was that the ac was a bit on the noisy side but this will only affect you if you are a very light sleeper.

Cheap staying and great location

The location was perfect to get around Barcelona ( Las ramblas, El puerto, La Boqueria and Sagrada familia)

We’re old furniture and not takes care of. Small rooms and not even a fridge in the room. The tV was defective and the portable AC was very noisy.

A localizado é um ponto bem estratégico para quem procura passeios turísticos.

No geral o custo benefício não agradou, hotel extremamente caro, é bem precário em relação a conforto. O ar condicionado era portátil extremamente barulhento. A localização por ser muito turística, também tinha barulho na rua dia e noite. Um ponto fraco do hotel é que não ter frigobar nos quartos. O prédio é muito antigo e dentro do banheiro tinha muitas baratinhas pequenas. Foi um dos piores hotéis que fiquei ao viajar. Não ficaria lá jamais. Se você busca conforto não recomendo.

Location was amazing! Room had a beautiful view of Catalunya square. Staff were very pleasant and assistive. Room was quite clean. Overall very very satisfied with this room.

There was no fridge in the room! So frustrating when it is 35 degrees outside, and there is no fridge to cool some drinks, and water. Also saw a huge cockroach, and freaked out! Luckily i was able to get it out of the room!

Good basic rooms, great location

The location was great! Right next to a aerobus transfer and and metro lines. easy walking distance to many of the main sights and restaurants. 24 hour reception was also handy.

Not really anything, air con was a little noisy but if you put a towel under the compressor at the back the noise stops

Exceptional

Super hotel and very kind person, we had reservations at 3p.m. But we come at 10 a.m. they take our baggage for save. And we can walk without bags. Thanks so much.
