Such lovely staff. An amazing hotel. We loved the spa. It was empty when we visited. Had an amazing stay

We arrived early afternoon in mid summer and had the whole spa with relaxing music & pool area for ourselves for hours. The pool area is dream come true, fantastic mountain views. Perfect terrace for an evening drink, rain or shine. We just came to escape the summer tourist rush of the coast and this mountain hotel was the best pick for us to relax. But if you come for a hike and want to be active, it's perfect too. Guided tours and all info included maps if you go on your own. Just perfect. Coming back for sure.
Nothing, everything was perfect.

My room was directly above the bar area. So spent two and a half hours trying to get to sleep after driving all day to get there. Only to have the cleaner to scrap all the heavy oak chairs and tables over the hard tiled floors at 22.30hrs just to amplify what we had being forced to listen to for the previous hours. Had to go down to the desk and ask for it all to stop. When they realised what I was unhappy about I realised that this is already apparent to them ( they knew of the problem). So why have the cleaner in at that late time. its beyond belief. Someone needs to do their job and run the hotel for the benefit of the customer not AT the cost to the customer. I think the room number was 171 but cant be sure so do check before you except the keys to the room. I expect the rooms adjacent to me also suffered the same issue.

The room is of a good size, great linen, coffee machine in the room (thanks a lot!), minibar, powerful hairdryer. Good tasty breakfast. Nice staff on reception. Great robes in the bathroom.
The main reason why I am putting so low rating is because the room wasn't clean, especially a bathroom. I took this hotel because of a high rating and I was really unpleasantly surprised. The sink was with calcium and mold stains, the bath was dirty and with mold, some parts of tiles need to be renovated. Many parts of interior are shabby. The window glass was dirty and it was dusty enough in the room. I understand that there were difficult two years for the hotels but for 4star hotel this is inappropriate, I don't require a total renovation but to delete calcium and mold and to fix tiles is not so expensive.
The second reason is that the staff in the restaurant is not trained, the serving is terrible and there is no design, no view, no atmosphere. When we came (28eur for a dinner without drinks) the hostess even didn't say hello, the restaurant was overcrowded and the level is more like cheap taverna. As a compliment the waitress brought us just 2 pieces of sausage, 2 wry pieces of butifarra on a small plate without single try to serve it esthetically. Sorry but we are not pigs to bring us such "compliments", so we left. In the morning the hostess in restaurant was also not very polite and as well as a whole staff. The scrambled eggs were over and I was trying to remind it to the staff politely but they were just ignoring my tries to attract their attention.
Our room was on the first floor so the view from the room was a tractor and some spruces. It is absolutely not soundproof so your hear children from another room screaming like hell like they would do it in your room. The parking of a hotel is 10 euro (and of course it is empty because you can park for free in 100m). Wi-fi password is written on reception only, so if you didn't make a photo on check-in, no chance for find it in the room or in your key card. No air conditioning, no electronic key system (1 old key for a room).

Easy to find, and access, especially for complicated ski equipment. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Beautifully decorated bedrooms and a pleasant spa.
Didn’t have a billiards table or ping pong or chill out area. Nice bar and bar area but nothing more / special.

Very noisy

Impeccable room! So clean! Cosy bed and beautiful views.
Very inviting common areas. Unfortunately we weren't there long enough to enjoy them all.
Our room felt like the walls and ceiling were very thin. It was very noisy in the evening.

Food was excellent, a bit pricey though. The SPA facilities were great and the swimming pool was nice. Views were simply breathtaking.
The pool was a bit overcrowded and could be cleaner. Lack of shadows in the pool area. Room was too hot, not a big thing as it is a mountain hotel and there was an exceptional heatwave.

Good facilities, decor a little dated, food ok but not exceptional

Outside seating had greats views of scenery. Room very nice and spacious. The hotel has a dedicated guide to hikes and hill walks. He was extremely helpful with suggestions that led us to some of the most stunning scenery.
A bit impersonal.

There was no water in the gym or spa. For a 4* hotel I find that unbelievable. You should put a water tank in the gym!
