The residence is historical and beatifull.
A very good restaurant. Very relaxed.
Irritating that waiters dont write orders down and keep forgetting.
Price on the room is to high. 500€ pr night in March. Out of season.
Don’t go there for the pool. It’s a tub!

We loved the location overlooking the ocean and that part of the city. Excellent job on renovating such a historical property.
The radiator in the room is quite noisy overnight with the sound of water dripping. The noise travels and so the staff in the morning are quite loud doing other rooms even when do not disturb sign is on door. We had a terrace facing room so loud when parties or dinners were served close to our windows.

The view from our room was excellent. The view from the outdoor restaurant was outstanding. Bathroom beautiful with exceptional products. Great bed(s), beautiful bedding and comfort.
People in swimwear walking directly next to our table from the pool whilst we were eating dinner.

Beautiful old architecture converted into luxury hotel without compromising the authenticity of the original building
Everything was lovely except that the food menu is very limited and doesn’t provide for people who have several food sensitivities

The hotel staff

Beautifully decorated, helpful staff, calm location with lovely views.
would have preferred our terrace to have been private as we shared with another room which we looked straight into. they could easily fix this problem snd I suggest they do.

especially, the personal treatment . Romantic atmosphere. Bathroom was nice, but bit cramped. walking distance to cathedral better than expected, about 30 mins. Breakfast excellent.
space of room, bathroom. view was boring, towards hills.

Welcome drink, friendly staff, lovely comfortable room, good view, great shower, on site parking, easy taxi ride to city about 10 mins. Good for 2 day 'chilling' break.
Pool small, limited loungers. Lunch/dinner very expensive so just went into city instead. Light from in room phone screen was very bright for a light sleeper.

The size of the room is very nice.
As well the amount of small cosmetics.
The location of the hotel is very far from other restaurants, which should give the owners and managers some thought to refine the lunch and dinner menu in the hotel.
The hotel's outdoor pool is a bigger tub and it's no joke.
There are only six sunbeds in the entire hotel for all guests, this is also no joke, this is a real situation.
And what's worst, the service has no passion, commitment, burnout is obvious there, guests are treated like customers from a cheap hotel chain.
There is no mobilization of passion for what the do.
It is a pity because the all staff could make changes to make the guest feel hosted for the high price he pays.

Booked a short break for my wife's birthday and it exceeded all expectations. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and grounds were wonderful and we had an excellent room of an extremely high quality. Dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea was very enjoyable. Highly recommend for a special occasion. Can't wait to return!

Pleasantly surprised by this beautiful and quiet location, only 15 - 20 minutes walk from beach and town center, hosting a marvelous terrace with view and large rooms.

We liked the property overall, it is a unique building - an original historic house / castle.
We had a lovely view from our bedroom over the sea and port at Malaga.
The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were spacious and it was nice to have a real bath in the ensuite which I was able to relax in after a day hiking.
There was no bar in the hotel. It would have been nice to have a small cocktail bar to have a nightcap.
We toured Andalucía by train so did not have access to a car. We were happy to walk downhill to Malaga centre and return on foot also. This may not suit visitors without a car but there are lots of taxis available. However, as a 5 Star hotel, they should have a list of reliable taxi drivers for guests. They booked us a taxi for our return trip to the airport but unfortunately the driver was a lunatic. He drove erratically, turning around in his seat to make eye contact to emphasise a point and took both hands off the steering wheel on several occasions grabbing his head to be dramatic - it was a nightmare trip to the airport and deflated the lovely relaxed feeling we had when leaving the hotel.
