Great facilities, huge swimming pool and nice dinner
Breakfast could be better for the price

Fantastic dining and wine, albeit not open every night. The restaurant is a highlight, amazing food, great staff, superb wine, overall fantastic experience!
The pool is nice, but can be crowded - it's operated independently from the hotel, you can reserve spots for free. Almost all staff was extremely nice, except the woman who greeted us: a simple 'welcome' goes a long way. Coming from a different hotel, it was a bit jarring, but no big issue.
Location is in the middle of vineyards, as expected, very quiet (not counting the pool music). Nearby Faenza had good food and is worth a visit. Bologna is an hour drive away, but Castelbolognese train station is very close and cuts down travel time overall.
Breakfast was ok, great pies and cakes. Amazing coffee. The room was pretty and clean. As a bonus, there's peafowl all over the place, gorgeous creatures.
Note that the beautiful, antique-style rooms in the main building can be somewhat noisy during restaurant hours (but not during the night). We found the mattress a bit hard to our liking, but this will vary from person to person. AC not really managing to cool the room during the hottest days/ evenings.
These issues did not detract from our enjoyment of the stay. The host has since informed me that there are rooms available with no restaurant noise - we do not regret staying in the room we had though!

The garden
Rude staff, overpriced stay, uncomfortable bed and pillows, poor breakfast, I wont stay there again.
The staff was rude and made you feel not wanted.

Beautiful pool area and extensive gardens surrounding the Inn buildings were nice places to relax after a day of traveling. Our room was spacious with Old World charm.
I imagine if the place were busy it might be crowded around the pool. Breakfast was ordinary.

Garden and pool area very nice and relaxing
Just a shame the restaurant is closed Mon/Tuesday/Wed - the food was good there.

The location
Old fashioned furniture was horrid. Not a double bed as advertised but 2 singles pushed together. Kitchenette poorly equipped.

We arrived at a very inconvenient time and they still accommodated us so well. When we woke after an incredible night's sleep we found that we were in a wonderland! The setting is beautiful and the facilities are wonderful. I only wish we could have stayed for longer. I will be returning soon, that's for certain.

A beautiful setting among the vineyards, especially with the fall colors. Staff was very helpful with our extra requests.

Bathroom in the room was not comfortable

Pleasant sunny breakfast terrace. Nice evening meal on site, but please note they do not serve meals every day. Great selection of their own delicious wines to taste and buy. Lovely surroundings and space to take walks. It was too cool to take a swim but the pool looked great! Short drive to Faenza, Brisighella, Dozza, and other nice towns in the surrounding area. Good starting point for bike rides to explore the countryside.

The location is amazing and the staff is really friendly and welcoming. The venue breeds peacocks that are amazing to look at even without their full plumage
Upon arriving in the early afternoon we were informed that the spa would have been unavailable because the spa room was booked for the night.
The shower head in the Green room was way too low for me (1.9m) to enter the shower

Loved idyllic location the grounds swimming pool and the room was beautiful! Adored this place and will make it a stop when we travel through the area. Their wines are exquisite too!

Comfy and homely as previously. Great breakfast choice.
Internet weak - when will guest establishments learn that strong, everywhere internet is absolutely vital in this day and age????? I was unable to work efficiently and my wife missed a very important Zoom call - and all we got were shrugged shoulders.

Beautiful location, very cool being a working vineyard as well as a small family run hotel with a pool. Wasn’t too over crowded considering the close proximity to Bologna. Lovely staff and very good (and reasonably priced) wine!
