Comfortable bed, strong A/C and delicious and abundant breakfast. The hotel is well situated in the city center. Bottled water provided on arrival.
The shower didn't drain properly and shows signs of mold. The staff wasn't able to advise on the special events going on in the city.

Great location, excellent breakfasts (coffee, cake, fruit, juice, choice of entree), access to streaming service (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple, etc.). One hard and one soft bed, both comfortable. Nice rooftop terrace and hot tub. Staff were kind and helpful but I needed my limited Spanish. Good security for the building - staff has to let you in and out. We enjoyed nearly everything of our stay.
The room had an Indian decor but was over decorated. There were no shelves or drawers to put clothes and the closet was difficult to access. Lights in the hall and bathroom were bright but very dim in the bedroom and the other sleeping “nook”, which had no windows. There were over 20 throw pillows to move when you wanted to sleep.

Beautiful courtyard. Rooftop terrace is lush with plants and views. Bathroom spacious and bath products had wonderful scent. Staff worked hard to accommodate us. Breakfasts were delicious.
Searing at breakfast area felt a bit precarious- rickety chairs. Pillows were too big- foam and about 8” high. Difficult for sleeping.

The location was excellent -- a short walk to the Plaza de Armas and most other main attractions. The breakfast was also excellent -- delicious and beautifully presented!
Nothing!

The bed was sooooo comfortable! The facility was quaint and lovely!
I purposely look for places with free breakfast as I prefer to eat at the place I am staying. However, the hours of 'free breakfast' did not work with my schedule as you had to 'prebook your time' and the times that worked for me were all booked. So, I did not get the meals that I paid for - or the convenience I look for in my travels.

beautiful boutique hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, great location, great, breakfast, and a hot tub
all was very good

Everything about this boutique hotel was outstanding.
There are no words to explain how much we enjoyed this place.
Whenever I stay in a hotel, the most important is the room and the facilities, La Casa del Naranjo has that additional token of love with their breakfast. The woman that prepares the breakfast is simply such an amazing person , the best chilaquiles and chocolate bread for breakfast, the coffee is super fresh as well as the fruit.
The hotel’s staff are also the best!
Everything in this hotel is amazing.

Property is well located. The hotel is attractive, breakfast delicious and staff as accommodating as they could be.
The bed in our room was old and saggy. The staff person who was there during our stay was brand new and not always able to find things or answer questions. There was no hot water until we asked for it.

In my 4 weeks in Mexico, this was the best place I stayed. This is a small B&B - only about 8 rooms. It's just a few blocks from major tourist attractions, but on a very quiet street. The staff was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. My room was truly beautiful and very spacious. I believe each room is decorated differently - mine was south Asian and Middle Eastern themed. Absolutely lovely and very tasteful. Housekeeping was meticulous. I recommend the rooms on the second floor as they have more light. The A/C worked perfectly. I stayed 3 nights and could have stayed longer - but had other cities to visit.

charm, location & staff. (very international and fantastic, friendly people)breakfast was delicious
also loved the asian desserts across the street and the last restaurant in the walkway behind the hotel!!
wifi is weak, but do to the thick walls that is one of the things that make this old building charming…it’s hard to get a consistent signal

Wonderful breakfast with fruit, main course, fresh orange juice and excellent fresh coffee. All the staff was fantastic and very helpful. Bed was super comfortable and everything was super clean. There is a beautiful terraza to enjoy the view and wonderful weather.
Nothing to complain about.

The charming, traditional atmosphere. Upper patio was divine. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly.
Was a bit noisy at times because of the proximity to the street

everything, it is centrally located, amazing owner and staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable, and words cannot express how much I enjoyed staying there. I had a silly accident, I missed a step and fell and sprained my ankle. Emma the helper immediately called Maria, the owner, who arranged for an immediate visit to a doctor in a hospital.i so much appreciate the help, thr attention and the care I received from, all the staff. Not to forget Freddy and Paola. in fact my foot was broken which I discoveredn when I returned home. the fall was one day before returning home.thank you Maria and your team.

It was close to historic centre and was in walking distance
Rooms were very small then what was shown in pictures. The main lady could be more polite . They did not serve breakfast before 9am inspite of requesting for same since we had early morning pick up for a tour.

Location. Historic character. The breakfast the morning I could enjoy it.
The reception desk wasn’t consistently staffed and at times I was locked out until I could get the attention of the only employee there. I signed up the night I checked in to use the Jacuzzi the next day at 5 pm. He apparently forgot to tell the day staff. When I went up to use it, I was told the woman on duty wasn’t alerted. She said it would take a half-hour to heat but she was wildly optimistic. An hour late it was lukewarm (I wanted hot because I was sore from a long walking tour.) I did use it but the steps to the Jacuzzi weren’t properly anchored and when I got out a step broke and nearly sent me flying. Very dangerous. All the signs were that it’s a beautiful property neglected, understaffed and mismanaged.

Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel run by family, we had a 2 bedroom unit that was fabulous! Very comfortable with nice sheets and privacy. The breakfast included was delicious but mostly the owners were so kind and helpful and really made our stay memorable. They scheduled massages onsite and even had a hot tub outside that unfortunately we didn't use...I regret that! The location was wonderful and easy to walk to the center of town
The hotel is secure, they are locked at the front entry so access is limited by non guests. The rooms had shutters and louver doors the locks were a bit inadequate but I never felt like this was a problem just wanted to mention it , I would still choose this hotel great value very personable and felt like I was staying with family

Excellent location close to everything. Remarkably quiet room up by the great terrace overlooking part of the town. Very nice breakfast, well presented by friendly staff.
The room in the ground floor by the patio was nice but felt a bit dark and closed in. We asked to be moved and they kindly obliged. The upper room by the terrace was great.

Gorgeous place, lovely people!
