Littletown farmhouse was in a beautiful setting, not far from Keswick but in the middle of beautiful Lakes countryside! There was a pub Swinside Inn very close for meals and walks straight from the door!

Very pleasant stay, everything was amazing, from the stunning surrounding fells to the superlative breakfast, from the friendly vibe in the common room with fireplace to the nice and available owners.

Everything about Littletown Farm Guest house was fantastic--the delightful, knowledgable, and welcoming owners; the delicious and generous breakfasts; the well-appointed and comfortable rooms; and most of all the setting--a secluded beautiful valley in the Lake District, just a few miles from town but feeling as remote as the end of the world. There are numerous hikes and runs straight from the guest house. We were perfectly happy here and look forward to coming back again.

Perfect short stay, hosts extremely welcoming. Homely atmosphere. Extremely clean and peaceful.
Stayed her for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We missed breakfast the first morning as we went walking, the host very kindly made us a lovely packed lunch for our travels. The second morning we had a fantastic breakfast.
Room was open, clean and very quiet. bathroom large, clean and shower very powerful.
Would absolutely stay again.

Comfy room. Quiet at night. Nice lounge if want to be sociable, location for walking.
Mix up over booking,I believe not helped by booking.com. Got a twin room upstairs, rather than a twin made up to a double downstairs with direct access to the outside. No notification from booking.com that the property couldn't do the room I had selected, only an email to say my booking was confirmed. I didn't check the contents , or I would have seen that my booking had been changed. The property didn't follow up directly to confirm my booking details. There wouldn't really have been too much of a problem, apart from the fact the property wasn't made aware, apparently, that we wanted the twin beds made up to a double. When I said twin beds wouldn't be OK, I got the reply that B.C was nothing but trouble, they made less money on the booking and I could go somewhere else if I wanted since she was managing on her own and was very busy....bit difficult at 4.30pm in the middle of nowhere at half term. I replied that I had looked at booking direct, but B.C was offering free cancellation for us when the property direct wasn't, so due to that we went with B.C. In addtion, this seemed the right thing to do, since we found out about it via B.C. She offered us another room that was a double, since, luckily, there had been a lot of cancellations.

Fantastic rural location at the foot of Catbells with great all round views. Super breakfast, no TV in room but had a couple of nice evenings in the lounge with other guests.

Amazing location under Catbells in the lovely Newlands valley, and lovely welcome from
Sarah and Rob. The breakfast was superb with an excellent choice of hot and cold (you can select from both) food. Very good pack lunches available too. Lovely shower and lots of hot water. And great value for money.
You have to drive out to get dinner, and pubs in Keswick and surrounding villages are very busy - worth booking ahead. The rooms are quite small (but the views are wonderful!) and the walls are thin - you have to hope for quiet and non snoring neighbours!

This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic. The location is beautiful - the farm is in a lush, secluded valley surrounded by mountains on all sides. It’s only 10mn drive from all the amenities of Keswick. Some of the best hiking trails in the Lakes start right at the BnB door. Don’t miss the breakfast and the afternoon tea! The guesthouse serves the best full English I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a fair few). Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available and also delicious. Our room was just the right size (note it wasn’t huge), comfortable, and tastefully furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got caught in traffic on the drive over and ended up arriving around 1am, and the guesthouse owners were very understanding and arranged the late check-in for us. This is by far the best value for money hotel/BnB I’ve found in the Lakes. I’m looking forward to staying here again.

Stunning location- perfect for hiking the hills. Relaxing and comfortable accommodation. Hosts were lovely and couldn’t do enough to make our stay wonderful. Packed lunches and small bar were an unexpected bonus. Great to be on a working farm and see/ hear the animals each morning.
