Excellent breakfast.

Boutique hotel in picturesque hilltop village with views to coast. Friendly and helpful team. Relaxing place to be.
Breakfast was a little hit or miss one or two days but no big deal.

The location of the hotel was offering a picturesque view. The homemade breakfast served in the calm garden was a nice start for the day. The room was nice and the bathroom with the walk in closet huge! I liked very much the art in the hotel areas and room.
The weather wasn't promising and I didn't enjoy the appealing pool.

This was an absolutely fabulous hotel with unparalleled service. It is perched atop a hill overlooking the sea a 10 minute drive to St. Florent. We stayed in low season and were upgraded to a suite. The service was personal and attentive. Breakfast in the morning was cooked to order; the croissants were freshly baked. We had dinner there one night on the patio overlooking the sun set over the sea with a meal prepared to our liking. When we headed to the beach, the staff packed a beach basked with towels and umbrella.
The town of Oletta is tiny. In low season there are no restaurants, so you must eat at the hotel or in St. Florent, which means you need a car to enjoy this place.

The locations and views were outstanding, the room although sparsely furnished was very contemporary and modern. Excellent suite and very spacious with good views down the valley.
The staff at reception were all very good, professional in their approach to looking after us.
Swimming pool was particularly nice in length and depth.
The dining room was not an inviting area outside and offered only two proper dining tables with the others being low down and chairs that we not designed for their purpose. Generally a vey uncomfortable place to sit and eat. The service offered by the waiter who was rather rude as we overheard him talking about us to other clients.

Very nice location!
Breakfast is very basic. One night was a horror, because of a wedding in the neighbourhood!

Thoughtful modern renovation of an old mansion. Great staff from managers to chef to cleaning ladies. Located in the heart of an old hill town.
Nothing!

Historic, stylish boutique hotel in Oletta, close to St Florent and Bastia. Super helpful and friendly staff. Calm and relaxed with around 8 rooms only. Beautiful pool and terrace. Fantastic breakfasts and dinners. Would highly recommend, although I would make sure you are confident driving on the Corsican roads otherwise prepare to get taxis especially on the mountain routes.

We stayed for 3 nights at U Palazzu Serenu after a 5 day biking holiday. From the moment we arrived we settled in, and were looked after beautifully. We were met by Georges, the owner, who showed us to our beautiful room, and gave us a delicious glass of rose with his compliments. The staff at breakfast, dinner and reception are delightful, attentive, but not intrusive. The food is superb, perfect sized portions. We had the set menu on 3 nights, and each night was different but delicious. You get the feeling the staff enjoy working there. The receptionist was also helpful as to where we should visit while we were there, lending us maps. The owner Georges is delightful, charming and very hospitable. My husband had a fascinating chat about the history of Corsica. I sadly never got the moment to talk to him about his beautiful art collection. The position of the hotel enables you to enjoy the views down to the sea, while being close enough to visit, but being in the quiet of the hills. We had 2 amazing sunsets while we were there, along with 2 nesting Kite birds in the near by trees.
There really is nothing to complain about. (The beds are hard though!!)
