Un hotel da 5.

Posizione defilata rispetto al piccolo centro, quindi non in mezzo al traffico e al caos di agosto. Balconcino, utile per i fumatori. Spiaggia carina a 3 minuti.

Non aspettavi il Ritz Carlton di Cannes, é un tipico hotel su strada con piscina degli anni '80, la struttura é un po' datata. Camera piccola ma gestibile. La doccia del bagno ha una tendina ma non ha una sua reale funzione perché in ogni caso l'acqua arriverà fino in corridoio. Da evidenziare l'assenza di ascensori, se come noi avete un bagaglio da stiva da 23 kg, fate stretching prima di fare le scale. In ultimo, la luce led del climatizzatore illumina a giorno. Colazione ok, non per palati fini. DATO CHE HO RICEVUTO UNA RISPOSTA PIUTTOSTO MALEDUCATA E SACCENTE ALLA MIA RECENSIONE MI SENTO DI MODIFICARLA E DI SPECIFICARE CHE NON E' SEGNALATO DA NESSUNA PARTE L'ASSENZA DI ASCENSORE. INOLTRE, SIA CHE SI TRATTI DI UNA CAMERA STANDARD O RINNOVATA MI ASPETTO CHE IL BAGNO SIA DIGNITOSO. HO DOVUTO SMONTARE IL DOCCINO PER FARMI LA DOCCIA DATO CHE ERA PIENO DI CALCARE.

Out of the way, a few kilometers from Vai beach (famous palm trees, sandy beach), room intimate but sufficient for one night, pool, room with a large balcony, two stars but correspond to three/four in heraklion.

A very relaxing stay

Cleanliness and quiet surroundings, no loud music played around the hotel making the stay very relaxing. Tasty breakfast with hot and cold options, including sweet and savoury snacks. We got totally spoilt... Attention to detail everywhere, the team was really dedicated to making our stay pleasant - thank you!

The honey jar has disappered after first two days, the plastic-wrapped marmalades and honey and margarine could be replaced with better quality and more eco-friendly products. Heated pool would be a great bonus!

Dirty loundy especially on pillow case which was really dirty. Moreover, we had to ask to change our room after the first night because they gave us a standard room (with separate beds) instead of the superior matrimonial room that we booked.

Nice hotel in small village close to Vai beach

Family-run hotel with a nice large pool. The breakfast (buffet) was very good. The room was clean and the staff very friendly, attentive and always available to provide assistance. The hotel is recommended since it's very close to Vai beach.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Vai beach

the property was driving distance to Vai Beach and walking distance to the little village. the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely, friendly and always helpful. This was a very comfortable place to stay.

Great hotel with great service

Our room was modern and very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning is also modern and efficient and can adjust to all settings and temperatures. The hotel has a nice pool and a decent breakfast. Free parking onsite is a bonus and really convenient. The ladies working at this hotel are extremely nice, always available at reception and are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure you enjoy your stay. A short 4 minute stroll takes you into town where there are mini markets, restaurants, pharmacy etc. The beautiful Vai Beach is only 11 minutes away by car. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. Thank you for our stay.

The shower is modern and nice, but watch out, where the water flows! ;-) Nothing to worry about, but I always wonder how many different ways there are to construct a bathroom...

Lovely stay

Friendly family run hotel. We were given information on what to do in the area. The hotel is five minutes walk or so from the centre where there is a good choice of restaurants. Very good breakfast with a good variety of items. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and is in a good location with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

Very clean. Staff was very helpful. Very good breakfast included in the price of the room. Just a 2 minute walk to the village and very close to nice beaches. Had a comfort and relaxing stay. We would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Would like a softer mattress, but that's just a personal and subjective opinion. Maybe for someone else, it would be ok. Also there is no line between the shower and the bathroom floor, and as a result the floor has a lot of water after you shower. A bit annoying and it's a pity because the bathroom was clearly recently renovated (but to be honest, that's a "problem" we have seen in many hotels and rooms).

I should have planned a stay for more than 4 nights: the area is rich in good restaurants, virgin beaches, and sights. Nothing I can think of that I did not like

Only bad thing is the mosquitos that were in the room buzzing when you're sleeping. I understand it's august in Crete though 😅

Nice hotel in palekastro

The staff is very polite and always kindly available. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the lively main street of palekastro with choice of restaurants and within easy reach of the nearby many beautiful beaches. The hotel is clean and recently renovated. There is a nice small swimming pool with a sunbathing terrace. Breakfast was good. The hotel is excellent value for money.

The pillow was a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom was very small although newly renovated and well organized.

Nice and clean rooms. Great and friendly stuff which gave us very good reccomendations on restaurants and beaches. Good location with easy parking.

Basic breakfast and the bar by the pool does not open regularly.

Short stay at Hiona hotel

The hotel is located conveniently at Palaikastro. We stayed for one night. The room was clean. Balcony was okay.

The bathroom was small and the shower curtains short, so that water was everywhere after a quick shower. The room was small, not much space to move around for 2 people. The A/C was quite noisy. Breakfast was not exceptional, but covered a basic breakfast.

Everything was perfect. A lovely family owned Hotel, immaculately kept with a wonderful pool, great breakfast, very good beds and mattresses and wonderful staff. It has it's own carpark and is well situated. A wonderful fish restaurant is close bye and in town you can also find 2 good restaurants. Very good location for daytrips to the beaches. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends, we had a wonderful time. Thank you. And ...did I mention, the breakfast is really good.

Hiona rocks!

We were the first guests after the lockdown. Hospitality of Anna (the owner) and her family was amazing! ( hugs to Marisa and the granny)We were upgraded ! Location is very good for exploring East coast of Crete! Anna gave us great recommendation of restaurants around - Palekastro is not a big place but full of charm. Anna is taking super care of COVID-19 restrictions. Breakfast - delicious, dinning room with view of mountains and pool We wish you an amazing season!
