Good fruit, a couple of options that I enjoyed
I don' mind stairs, but some people would have difficulty making it to the rooms.

Everything was great except the safe in the room was old and we couldn’t unlock it. It had to be cut open to retrieve our passports. If we had left this to the morning of our departure we wouldn’t have got our passports in time for our flight.

Very well situated hotel in the middle of the old town of Trogir, very nice staff and exceptional breakfast.

The reception and bar staff were super friendly - went out of their way to assist us. Good sense of humour and efficient.

The staff were all brilliant, very helpful and cheerful. Amazing and quiet location in the middle of the old town.
Nothing major at all: I think that staff at breakfast could have asked for any cooked options at breakfast because I didn't know this was an option until it was too late.

The room was quiet despite its proximity to the centre, clean and well equipped. The hotel has a very nice terrace for guests. An excellent place to stay for those planning to explore Trogir and the surrounding area. The breakfast was very tasty and made with fresh products.
A very pleasant place, but the bathroom would benefit from curtains for those who like a quick shower instead of a bath.

The rooms are well located in, next to the high street. Its off a small road within the old town - Its so well built so you do not get any of the road noise - The rooms are well kept, decorated lovely. Breakfast is served well and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Charming, historic, family-run hotel in a truly enchanting UNESCO location. Loved staying here in summer 2022. The staff was very friendly and professional. They went above-and-beyond to answer our questions and help with our requests. Feel lucky to have stayed in this special place. It's a part of deep history, just to walk the "streets" in Trogir. Will definitely stay here again.

Bathrobe and slippers are provided which is a nice touch but the slippers were old and stained.
Lovely hotel with lots of charm in quiet street in the old town. Very nice staff. Room was quiet and bed comfortable. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Dinner outside in the garden was good.

I first booked this hotel after coming back from a 2 week sailing trip. I didn’t know anything about the hotel when I booked it the first time. It was very easy to find in Trogir coming in through the north gate. Because the town allows no cars we had to make 3 minute walk to the hotel. The staff was wonderful. We arrived early and were able to store our bags and then tour the town. We were able to get our room early and though there is no elevator, the staff carried our bags up the stairs to our room. The room was very nice and well appointed.
We were headed to Hvar the next day and the manager ordered us a taxi from a personal friend who dropped us off right at the ferry dock.
Since the staff had been so nice and Trogir is close to the Split Airport we booked our room upon our return from Hvar. The manager called his friend again as we had to be at the airport very early and made sure we were picked up on time.
If we ever get a chance to return to Trogir, and I hope we do, I will most certainly book a room at the Monika Hotel.

Quaint, clean, friendly helpful staff
Rooms are very small—but it is a small hotel in a medieval town

Let's start that it was only one hotel near airport which offers 24/7 reception service. Our flight landed at 10:20 pm and we needed this service. Uber from Split airports costs us around 56 chorvakr and took 10-15 minutes. I did not have much expectations, but hotel was awesome:
1. Rooms were big. We traveled with little kid and 12 y.o. and we took 2 rooms. It was unnecessary. Definitely 1 room would be enough, each room has an extra chair which transfer to single bed enough for a teen or small adult.
2. Check out at noon! Perfect option to wake up and explore the old city, 3-4 hours will be enough. Leave your staff in the hotel and check out at 12:00. I first time see this time for the check out and this is a game challenger! We actually had a time to walk around without our luggage. Tip: try lavender ice-cream 💜.
3. Staff! We arrived late and did not had a time to change $, and ofcourse kids always needs something at night. Staff took care of our requests with no time, billed to the room and they accept $, euro... no hassle.
4. Hotel is clean, stylish and nice. It is 4 star hotel but it is better than many 4 star hotels we stayed before.
5. Location. For us Location was not a priority because we have to go to Split next day and was looking for 1 night stay. BUT location was amazing. We found a little Venice in Croatia! Hotel is locating in the heard of the old Town and required few minutes walk from the taxi.
6. Breakfast included
Breakfast was nice. But please add orange or apple juice in the breakfast menu. The orange mix drink was terrible.

We visited and stayed at Hotel Monika in 2019. We are back now and all the same staff is here. This is a quiet, romantic, beautiful and friendly hotel in the heart of the old city. We brought old friends with us to stay here as well. We all enjoyed the stay and hospitality immensely. I could not imagine a stay in Trogir without being at Hotel Monika. Thank you to Jasminka and Zeljko.
Only that we could not stay longer.

We booked Hotel Monika as it was well located in historic Trogir and offered easy airport transfer to Split as a service. It exceeded our expectations due to the friendly efficient staff and its own historic interest within this UNESCO town. The hotel belongs to the association of small family hotels and this is reflected in their approach which offers a personal and welcoming level of care. In particular, there were some charming small touches - such as the little bear face the manager Zeljko “drew” on my wife’s breakfast coffee! In addition, the hotel offers some historic interest in its own right including an ancient fresh-water well in its courtyard.
